From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. About: I've cared for and lived with cats for as long as my memory goes back. I have years of experience and love for cats of all kinds. I have rescued cats in my adult life, and have experience in caring for cats who are undersocialized or/and timid. When it comes to cat care I pay attention to their body language, their individual personalities and needs, and always respect their personal space. I have cared for wounds, administered medication, and worked hours a day for years to earn the trust of a cat absolutely terrified of people (he became the sweetest little cuddle bug!). I also have experience in caring for elderly cats as I had my childhood cats grow up with me! I have two rescue kittens currently who have just turned one, and they both like to join training sessions with my pup, and as a result both kittens know sit, stay, and up! They learned those skills through positive reinforcement training and a great puppy role model. I know how impotent a clean environment is for a cats health and make sure to clean litter boxes well. I will also gladly brush cats and trim nails, no one likes their furniture being scratched up or a nail getting stuck and ripped out (ouch!). About: I have over twenty years experience caring for dogs (my own and other people's). I prefer for new clients to contact me at least one week in advance of their first appointment so that we have time to work out a meet and greet, and to discuss all the details of care. Some dogs like the park, others love to swim, lie in the sun, or have special needs. I've worked with dogs of all ages from puppies to geriatric, as well as dogs with specific training needs. I trim claws for owners who prefer not to do it themselves, although there is an additional fee, and I reserve this service for repeat clients. I am willing to work with owners to give dogs the care they need and expect. I love to find out what makes each dog perk up their ears, roll over, groan with delight and wag a happy tail. For the time being I work from home full time, with the goal to move to self employment full time so I can give excellent care to your dogs 24/7. I would like to meet you and your dog before booking any services to be sure that everything goes smoothly when you are away. Your dog is in good hands with me! I'm currently working from home so I'll have plenty of time to snuggle with pups during the day and get them out to stretch their legs a couple times or more. I have an unfenced yard, so we take lots of leash walks, or have tether time for play. The woods and field visits are followed by tick checks.

I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: My fourth birthday I asked for a dog, and continued to do so every birthday thereafter. Growing up my family was not in a position to have a pup, so I found every other way to engage with them. I walked family and friends dogs, pet sat, and read all the books about dogs and cats I could find in my little school library. As an adult I have been graced with the opportunity to rescue my own pup, and have since learned a whole slew of new skills and knowledge. If your dogs is like mine and doesn't get along with other dogs, I know lots of places to walk and adventure where it's easy to avoide other pups and also have strategies use if we do come across them such as the Banana method, and training a "center" position, and skills and drills to do before a walk to ensure a dogs engagement and focus is on me before the walk.

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. About: I have worked many different animal specific jobs over the years. From pet stores, dog bathing, to overnight doggie daycares. There have always been animals around me at home, especially dogs! Now that my childhood dog (Brownie) is getting older, I’ve also gained more experience with senior canines too. I am currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to give attention to and care for your precious fur friend(s)! I am available for check-ins any day of the week after 11am. While I do not drive myself, my family is retired and able to help with transportation. Please discuss details with me ahead of time for availability if needed (at least a day in advance). My house has a spacious front and backyard, including an invisible fence that both of my dogs are trained with. There are plenty of dog beds, water bowls, and a big bucket of toys lying around inside the house. There is also multiple doggie doors leading from the garage and into the house (both have slide door blockers as well if you need my dogs locked inside). I have my own apartment above the top floor that is separate from the rest of the house. There is an entrance at the back of the building, along with a wooden staircase that leads to my deck and apartment door. If you are boarding, your pets will be staying up here with me for the night. I am located on a quiet dirt road and can offer dog walks to get extra energy out. A bathtub is also available in my apartment if you’d like to give your pooch a soothing spa day (includes brushing, shampoo & conditioner, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail grinding) I love taking photos/videos, don’t hesitate to ask!
