About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.

My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been pet sitting for the past five years. I have come to know these pets that I have watched as family members, but have since moved back to California! About: I have always had dogs growing up. I am currently studying Animal Science with a minor in public health, looking to go into Animal Welfare. I am an intern at the New Hampshire SPCA where I have been expanding my experience in animal handling and enrichment. I work Sunday-Thursday from 8-4 at the NHSPCA where I am an Animal Care Technician. I am available before or after work along with Friday’s and Saturday’s. I have a dog park at my apartment complex and I love taking dogs on long walks and working on their leash training. I handle all behaviors at the shelter, so I am able to modify my care accordingly.

“I have never had such a positive experience. My pup was unfortunately sick during the majority of his stay with Heidi and I was unable to pick him up. Fortunately for us, he was in the best hands possible. Not only did she keep us informed constantly and ask for our opinion on how to take care of him best, but she even went out of her way to feed him a special diet that would best suit his sick tummy. I can’t recommend Heidi enough with your pets.”
“My pup just came back from her first time boarding at Shayna's and all went very well. We had done a meet and greet previously just to be sure that all the doggies got along, and they seemed to do great together during this overnight. I was happy to hear about lots of activity time between walks as well as group play in a nice shady backyard. Both my pup and I looking forward to having her stay again at Shayna's soon!”
