She had a small fenced enclosure with small to medium dogs and a larger fenced enclosure where she promised to walk the animals for some exercise. She also addressed my concerns about having my dog have some space or separation from her other dog guests as our dog wasn't that accustomed to lots of dogs at once. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I felt very secure with my dog staying in her (and her husband’s) care. She (and they) obviously knows and cares for dogs. I had useful feedback from the visit (my dog was fine with her cat—(and dogs)—though she has had very little exposure to cats—so it appears vibes are what count with Frances. ) Hannah was friendly even when I changed my time plans on the actual day, oh-so-gently informing me she would definitely modify whenever she could, but she was dealing as well with other customers’ sometimes conflicting schedules. She was very good!”

About: I’ve owned and worked with dogs my whole life. I am the owner of a grooming salon and have worked in dog daycares as well as an animal hospital. We will treat your pups like our own! 🥰 We like to stick with what they are used to at home. Sleep on the bed? No prob! Snuggle on the couch? You got it! But if you have rules you are working on we are happy to help with those too. We have a large fenced in yard but the snow is high right now. So to be safe we are only taking dogs under 30 lbs. I have always specialized in senior dog care so if you have e an older buddy they are in good hands! ♥️Can’t wait to meet your pups! Also, we have 2 small dogs so yours must be ok with other pups. My husband and I both work from home so it’s easy for us to give the pups attention and care all day. Together we have plenty of time for walks, play, and snuggles! I have a large fenced in yard, but if you prefer walks that’s totally doable. I also have a Chinese crested mix and a Schnoodle who are very used to new dogs in the home. We also have baby chicks in the house until spring but they are in enclosures. In case your pup has a high prey drive, they can be moved to a safer area. 😆

About: I have always had dogs but am currently without one after my 16-year-old golden retriever passed away. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages, and understand how their needs, routines and personalities change throughout their lives. I live in a quiet community with beach access a short walk away. If you have a pup that loves to swim, go on adventures or walks, or simply spend time outside, I would be a great fit. While your away, you can be sure they too are enjoying a mini vacation. I can work from home so your dog will not be lonely during the day. There are some days I may not be home all day, but I will be sure to give them plenty of exercise with time to run, play or swim in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I also have a life jacket for those dogs who are not strong swimmers or who may want a little extra support in the water. I've not crated any of my dogs, but if you are more comfortable with crating, I can accommodate that if you bring yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a small side yard, access to trails and a beach so they will get plenty of time outside.

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been pet sitting for the past five years. I have come to know these pets that I have watched as family members, but have since moved back to California! I have experience with cats and dogs, both my own, and other people that I have watched as well as a few bunnies and even some rats! I am happy to help with cleaning around the house or small gardening activities if necessary during longer trips or anything else that might be necessary for someone to have a comfortable vacation! I just moved back to the area so I have a part-time job at a winery till about 6 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, but can work around that (just ask!) or any other day of the week! I love making pets feel comfortable and sticking to their given routine. I feel that when the parents are out of town, it can be stressful so keeping things as normal as possible is incredibly important! It’s great to go on walks for dogs and just to have some time lounging around for cats playing with one of their toys. I have experience with mildly aggressive or reactive dogs and semi feral cats and know some tips and tricks to make them feel more comfortable and less scared upon meeting me for the first time.

About: Hi! I’m Samara and I am a HUGE animal lover. I’ve been taking care of and been around sorts of animals since I was 13. From farm animals (chickens, goats, horses) to household pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and fish. I have experience with many different breads as well as ages of animals. My children will also play with your babies so they will definitely have a lot of attention. Inside my house is baby proof so it is also dog proof.
