I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.
About: I have cared for dogs throughout my life including my own, my family, and friends. The dogs have ranged from puppies to older adults with boarding in my home and their own. I live on the first floor of my building and there are no steps for senior dogs to have to worry about. While I do work as a teacher full time, my weekends are very open to care for dogs. I typically take a walk one to two times a day on my own through the neighborhood so adding a dog companion along would be very easy. We also have a cat who loves dogs with many dog toys of her own that she can share! I have a one bedroom apartment with no stairs so it is easily accessible for dogs of all mobility ranges and ages and I can keep an eye on them throughout the day. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have access to a field next door at an elementary school and neighborhoods to walk in with little car traffic.

Ready to walk, care, and love on dogs of all sizes I work a 8-5 flexibly from home and in the Portland office Monday-Friday with weekend availability. “Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I am available for day time pet sitting during the week. If needed me on a weekend we can most likely work something out-case by case basis-but it wasn't something i wanted to promote on my profile.
