About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

I have integrity, I think quick on my feet and am very responsible having raised a family and pets. I am a dog whisperer who can tune into all different kinds of dogs and dispositions. I am a semi retired man and so have much more free time. I love outdoor adventures and sunshine and I know dogs do too! First off, every dog is different and has his or her own quirks from dietary to social interactions with other dogs. It’s great to love dogs but it’s also important to provide them structure and pay good attention to their health needs. Not every dog is cut out for lengthy walks so I tailor the experience to whatever brings the dog most joy!

I'm very attentive to pet behavior and i understand how important routines, patience, and trust are when caring for someone's pet, my number 1 priority is to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. About: Dog care shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg! Whether you’re going on vacation or need some help after surgery, I’m more than happy to do anything and everything in between to help you and your pup(s) during your time of need! I work Mondays and Tuesdays 11p-7a so I can check in on pets late at night or early in the morning! Wednesday through Sunday I *only* do Rover, so I can focus on helping pet parents. I make sure to ask clarifying questions during meet and greets, then follow them to the T during visits in the future. Chores are done first if needed (cleaning litter box, letting out pups, food/water, etc) which I try to keep to under 10 minutes in order to give the majority of my time to the pet and spending time with them.

I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
About: I've taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a teenager! I am comfortable with Reactive, Aggressive and Nervous dogs. I have Three of my own nervous/reactive dogs! I've dog sat for family and friends along with having 4 of my own dogs! I've worked at a doggie daycare and have experience with particular routines that our pets have. I understand that dogs are our family and I will treat your pet just like they're my own! I am also experienced with large high energy dogs and Working dogs! I am currently working part time as my mom's cleaning business and I am Active in dog related activities. I do a lot with my own pups! I treat all dogs in my care as if they're my own! I use positive methods in handling dogs because they deserve the best and kindest care! I have puppy sat all sorts of dogs from huge Great Danes, high energy Malinois and adorable little Yorkies.
