About: I have experienced with a variety of pets - my own, petsitting, and volunteering with shelter cats! I’ve cared for animals young and old, shy and bold, and treat them all like my own. Services I provide: - Cat drop-ins - Small to medium dog walks and drop-ins - Small animal drop-ins, as well as hosting in my home on a case by case basis (in a room inaccessible to my cats). I have experience with bunnies, reptiles, and small rodents! I have a full-time job, but I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I can almost always make a drop-in visit work! I’ll ALWAYS hit the necessities: food, clean water, playtime, pets, and a clean litter box for cats (I feel very strongly about this last one - I won’t leave your home without scooping!) Since I’m petite, I only work with small to medium dogs. I want to make sure that both me and your pup stay safe on our walks together, so I feel that it’s important to stay within my comfort zone! I’m happy to have some playtime with your dog in a fenced yard as well.

Relaxing time away can only happen if you can trust that your pets are loved and taken care of almost as good as you😊 I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have a quiet space with lots of grass and woods for playing. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! I love to walk in all kinds of weather and I love to play outside whenever possible. In addition, I love farm animals too! Your pets are safe in my back yard. I always go outside with the pets and will use a leash if need be. I make pets feel right at home inside our home as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I am available for day time pet sitting during the week. If needed me on a weekend we can most likely work something out-case by case basis-but it wasn't something i wanted to promote on my profile.

About: I've had animals all my life, and my current dog for 7.5 years. (Black Lab 74 lbs) He obeys without issue and is full of love. When you meet him he will let you know how happy he is and he will share his love with you. He loves everybody and everything. I'm an Air Force veteran and I take pride in everything I do. I work from home, so I am with my Dog (Black Lab) 100% of the time. I keep my door open so my dog can go in and out as he pleases. I'm a full time dog caretaker. My dog gets along with every living creature big or small. So any visitors will have the time of their life. My dog will also be with me on walks, making friends with all the other dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard, plenty of toys, a plastic dog pool for the warmer months, and shelter and inside access for the colder months. I DO NOT feed dogs human snacks. Milk-bones are the only treat I share with unknown dogs. If you authorize other treats just let me know! =)

I've grown up with dogs and cats, and have spent at least 3 years pet sitting. I currently own two crazy senior cats who I'm obsessed with. In the recent past I had two sweet and mellow rescue pups. Throughout my childhood I took it upon myself to take care of the family pets. Looking after animals comes naturally to me and you can count on me to be that person at a party who spends more time with the cat than the people. I am available most days and times and am able to be pretty flexible. Weekends can get a little busy but I can fit a visit or two in if needed. About: Hi there! I’m Grace. Me and my husband just moved to Maine this year, and we love it here! Before the move, I worked at a natural pet food store because of my passion for animals and all things holistic wellness. I also regularly pet sat, mainly through word of mouth referrals, so I’m somewhat new to Rover. I grew up caring for my family dogs and cat, as well as volunteering at the local shelter, which often led to fostering kittens. I previously worked as a professional dog handler at Free Spirit Doggy Daycare where there were often 50 plus dogs to take care of at a time. Me and my husband now have a rescue dog and two cats of our own who are my whole world! In my free time, I’m usually spending time with them, baking, hiking, or volunteering at a horse farm down the road. I’m looking to provide check ins and/or walks for your furry friend anytime they need some extra attention. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats (& more!) with extra needs such as severe anxiety or medical conditions that require medications. I understand that our pets are our family! I will treat your babies with all of the love and care that I would want my own to receive. I currently have a fairly open schedule throughout the week. I will be traveling some the end of this month (October) and in November but after that won’t be traveling for a long time, as I’ll be having a baby in March. We have a lab mix who enjoys our 3 acres, and two indoor cats who enjoy our window ledges, and playing with anything they decide is a toy. Every pet is different but for our guys, I find that as long as they have plenty of exercise, brain stimulation, good food, and time with me and my husband, they’re happy as can be. Lots of “behavioral” issues tend to actually be boredom, which is remedied with things like walks and brain stimulating play, or it could also be medical.

About: I used work at a cat hospital and run my own dog grooming service. I also used to be a kennel attendant at Scyrz Kennel and Cattery. I am experienced with all animals, dog, cat, reptiles, small animals, birds, etc. I love them all, and I will give them the love and care they need. I attend school with the intent of becoming a graphic designer. Since I used to be a vet tech I know how to take care of pets and all their needs, even when they are sick or injured. I can walk them at the local park, and am flexible with any special care they need. I can provide any grooming services needed as well. I can bathe and shave them and clip their nails, and clean ears for an extra price. I will make sure your pets get the love and care they need, I will be attentive to their needs constantly. I can give pet care at anytime through out the day, I am a stay at home mom. I am very flexible with my schedule. If you have a specific schedule I will follow that schedule you and update you on your pet. I know how to keep an animal well taken care of and attentive of their needs. I used to be a vet tech and I am aware of any health issues and able to take care of them when injured or sick. I have 2 dogs that are very playful and will gladly play with them. If you need additional services such as grooming or walking etc. Please let me know and I will adjust the price accordingly.

About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. Feel free to give any advise on how to care better for your dog, and I will be more than happy to accommodate.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. If you want a pet caretaker you can count on who will treat your animals as well as their own, I'm your gal! I am operating my pet care business, Mainely Pets - Care & Products, full-time! This means I have lots of availability to care for your pets, but for house-sitting in particular it is best to reach out significantly in advance to ensure I can fit you in! Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).
