About: I have a dog allergy that I take medicine for. I am willing to work with dogs. I am hoping that exposure to dogs will help my allergies improve. I am flexible with my schedule. I can accommodate and move around my days depending on your needs. I have a 4 year old, so it will all hinge on her care. I have a senior cat living with me. About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I've always had pets in my house so what sets me apart is the constant, undivided attention your pet will receive. Because I work entirely from home, your dog will never be left alone for long stretches or have their routine disrupted. I naturally integrate frequent potty breaks, midday play sessions, and mental enrichment into my daily workflow. About: I have taken care of and interacted with many breeds and mixes of dogs, both my own and friends. Have taken care of multiple of cats and even interacted and helped care for several family ferrets. I do have 4 cats of my own :) I work 3 days a week, not a set schedule, but usually have open availability the other 4 days during the weekdays/weekends. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. About: I have been with pets my whole life! There’s always been a dog or cat or both around. When I was about 10/11 years old, I would dog sit 9 dogs! Taking them out in the yard, feeding, and treating them! I currently have downsized to just one cat, she’s a needy but sweet girl. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).
