About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have four acres of land far from the road with a big back yard and lots of woods and play space. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! I love to walk in all kinds of weather and I love to play outside whenever possible. In addition, I love farm animals too! Your pets are safe in my back yard. About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. I’ve never worked in a vet clinic, but I have many years of clinical experience with humans so I do have that background. I work from home Monday through Friday and my home office is in our finished basement so the dogs have their own space in the basement with food, water, toys, beds, puppy pads as well as full access to my office to come and go as they please and they just spend the day with me while I’m working. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.

About: I raised my own herd of dairy goats starting when I was 11 years old. I have been working with dogs since I was 16, I worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years and I now work at a shelter. I have loved all sorts of animals from a very young age. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs that required specific medical care (diabetes etc.) I am always willing to learn the proper care for your pet. About: Used to be a manager for a mobile veterinary wellness clinic, have owned animals almost my whole life and currently have a giant bundle of fur chocolate lab at home. Intact 3 year old male. As well as a 4 year old boy and 4 month old boy and 2 tween girls who all love animals. DISCLAIMER- your pets MUST be well behaved enough around small children that are still learning how to safely approach animals in order for me to agree to sit them. Everyone’s safety is my number 1 priority as I have a 9 month old baby as well as other small children in the home. As I’m a stay at home mom, I have plenty of time throughout my day to implement your pets needs into our schedule. I don’t mind last minute bookings, as long as we’re free and non booked up. While we don’t have a fenced in yard, we have no issue taking dogs for walks around the neighborhood and leashes in the yard when necessary.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved three years ago, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with were specialtists.) Currently, I'm available for sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits. I am not working outside of my home right now, so I'm quite flexible for scheduling. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. About: I have 3 energetic pups, two came to us as puppies and one was a rescue that required lots of patience to get to be her happy go lucky self. I have helped care for a variety of my families animals for 15+ years. I am very comfortable with animals and love dogs especially! I’d have my own rescue if I could. I am always spending my free time taking my dogs to go on walks or find a place to swim. I can certainly make some free time to add some extra pups in the mix! My dogs are spoiled at home but also have structure. They have a routine of eating once in the morning and once in the evening but their bowls are left down for them all day if they choose to not eat it all at the time it is given. They have access to water all day and yes they are allowed on the furniture. They have lots of toys to play with and there are gates the separate off certain sections of the house if they need to be split for any reason (such as if one needed medication or if company were to come over, etc). They have the command “bed time” or “go to bed” at night and they go to their designated sleep spot. Two sleep in kennels, one with the door open and one with the door closed, and one sleeps on a dog bed. They get lots of outside play time!

I recently lost my dog after 13 years of spoiling her. She was our perfect dog, a bullmastiff boxer and a princess, so I know all about finicky dogs. I trained her as a puppy and we always got complimented on how well behaved she was. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup and worry about them, I used to leave long lists of instructions for our girl and love it when I got text updates of her, so I will do the same for you. When we spoil them it speaks to the depth of our love for them, and that's something special to not entrust with just anyone. So if you have a "diva" or a "prince" I'm your gal. 😁 I miss being around a dog but I am not able to commit to my own right now, so I'd love to give your dog lots of cuddles and spoil them for you while you are away. I do not offer care in my own home or care for dogs dealing with incontinence because things are too fresh still. I do not offer care for dogs with aggression issues either. I feel it's important to make sure both the dog and I are comfortable, and therefore require a meet and greet to make sure it's a good fit. I work from home so I will be able to care for them and cuddle lots throughout the day. I will need to leave briefly in the evenings, but for the most part will be there with them. If your dog is trained to be off leash, I am comfortable with that as long as we do a meet and greet and you show me their responsiveness when called back. I am also fine with taking them out on a leash or letting them into a fenced yard, whatever is their norm. If hired for dog walking I'd prefer to do a meet and greet and go on a walk with you and the dog so you can show me their route and preferences to ensure we are both comfortable

About: In the past when I’ve done some house sitting I ended up bonding with the animals which they had to call me Uncle Bobby which required visits even when the owners were home! I work 3 on 3 off and occasionally some overtime! So I actually do have a lot of time of but different days! So weekends and weekdays I actually can have time off! Outside time on a leash or what ever the owner prefers! I would prefer the animals get to know me on leashes! If it’s a fenced in area no problem! Run free my fury friends Lol! About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs.
