About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. This always brought me joy and so I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members :) I would happily take your dog on walks and hikes, play fetch, and give them lots of love and attention. I promise to treat them as I would my own pets, which means an endless stream of love and attention. I currently workong full-time but work from home 3 days a week, so I have some flexibility in my availability for pet sitting. I recently had to say goodbye to my own sweet dog, so I am available to do drop in visits or walks, and could keep you pets at my house for overnight visits or stay at your house overnight. About: I currently work as a kennel technician at an animal shelter. I am experienced in handling dogs of all temperaments, prioritizing the dog’s safety and my own safety. I’ve pet sat for many clients. I have taken care of older dogs and young dogs. I am comfortable taking care of dogs of all temperaments. “This was our first time with Anna Julia. I really appreciated the communication back and forth before our dog’s stay. The drop off was super easy and Lady, our dog just went into her house, hopped on the couch and asked for belly rubs! You can tell that dogs are loved in this house! We had spotty reception because we were out camping but Anna Julia did send pictures and reassured us Lady was doing great and so my worry eased away. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, two friendly (albeit loud) dogs, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. My husband and I both work from home during the week. I do hold office hours on Fridays, but my husband is home when I may not be so our home offers constant companionship for our guests. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. I also have long leads (60ft) for outdoor play on our property. - Daily photo updates of your pet(s) if desired. - Experience with dogs of all ages. - If your pet prefers a calmer environment, my at-home work space provides a reprieve from the rest of the house while maintaining companionship. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. I can typically accommodate emergency requests, though Fridays can be tricky with my in-office hours. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and love all animals, barnyard or otherwise. I am experienced with all animals, dog, cat, reptiles, small animals, birds, etc. I love them all, and I will give them the love and care they need. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! About: I currently work as a kennel technician at an animal shelter. I am experienced in handling dogs of all temperaments, prioritizing the dog’s safety and my own safety. I’ve pet sat for many clients. I have taken care of older dogs and young dogs. I am comfortable taking care of dogs of all temperaments. My services include dog walking, playing fetch, and feeding and watering. I am currently a part time employee at an animal shelter. However, I am not be working everyday of the week, or all day. I will have plenty of time to care for your pups in the morning time and evening time. “This was our first time with Anna Julia. I really appreciated the communication back and forth before our dog’s stay. The drop off was super easy and Lady, our dog just went into her house, hopped on the couch and asked for belly rubs! You can tell that dogs are loved in this house! We had spotty reception because we were out camping but Anna Julia did send pictures and reassured us Lady was doing great and so my worry eased away. Pick up was super easy as well and we know that Lady will be staying with Anna Julia again. We already booked her future stays.”
