When one of my cats had a flare up of his urinary crystals while we were away, she quickly notified me of the change in his behavior. She was super responsive to my questions and was flexible when I needed a couple extra visits added on. She also was able to administer medications to my cat during his flare up. She took extra time to try and make sure my sick cat was relaxed and stress free while also giving my other cat had lots of love and attention. About: I’ve been known as a dog whisperer by family, dogs love me and I love dogs. I have raised 3 and owned 4 since the age of 12. I have grown a love for the animal and everything about them. Going on daily walks and making sure my pets always are paid attention too are my top priorities. Moving about to Maine I have found a love for cats the same I have for dogs. Cats were always misinterpreted in my family growing up. We never had one in the house and so I was hesitant in how I could live with 3 of them when moving out. That hesitation disappeared when I moved up here in 2024. I love cats as much as I do dogs now when I discovered they can be just as cuddly and playful, if not more, than dogs! Working part time my schedule is very flexible. Latest I’m available ranges each week. As long as I get some kind of message on what’s good for you I’m sure I can squeeze your pet in! About: I have always had pets in my house growing up and I love spending time with both cats and dogs. Playing fetch and snuggling is my favorite thing to do! About: I grew up on a farm with horses, pigs, sheep, cows, a dog and a cat. I particpated at a young age taking care of them (feeding, brushing, removing manure). Throughout my life I have had personal pets as well as helped care for pets of family and friends. I currently work full-time remotely M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. I also have a 9 year old son. With small to medium breeds, if your dog doesn't mind being picked up, I have no problem carrying them up and down the stairs during their stay. Your pet will be safe in my care, as I have the time to keep my eyes on them and make sure they're both happy and healthy during their stay with me. I will be able to follow the feeding schedule/routine that is given to me for the pet and I will never ever give any pet food (outside of what's packed for them) or treats without explicit permission from the owner first unless prior permission is given (such as treats being packed for the pet in my care).

Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. Overnight rates are based on 1, 12 block of time. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life from dogs, cats, birds, horses. Aside from my own I have also spent countless time taking care of others animals while they are gone or just need a little extra help! I currently work a part time job in healthcare so my schedule can be super flexible with notice but if you need care last minute I am more than happy to make it work the best I can for you and your pet(s). I am willing to work with you and your animals needs whatever that may be. Whether they need to be taken on long walks, like to play fetch or just sit inside and be pet!

“Kate was a gem and truly saved us when we were in a pinch. My dog had a severe allergy flare up when we were on vacation and was in need of a rest day with some TLC. Kate and family went above and beyond to give him all of the blankets, cuddles, and relaxation he needed while we continued hiking in high humidity and wet conditions. I’m super careful about who cares for Tux and am glad I put my trust in Kate! We made it home without worsening Tux’s allergies, and he’s doing much better now.”

About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. I currently work full-time from home and I’m outside with my dogs every day playing! pet care is a necessity for me as my world revolves around my girls. I have two labs that are very friendly and playful, I also have the ability to crate dogs as well. I used to work in clients homes so I have a vast understanding of the necessity to keep your home safe and well cared for. I also understand the vulnerability that your pet may feel if you are gone at work or for a period of time.
