About: I know that every pet has their own needs and own personalities. I have been working with high energy dogs, older dogs, small dogs for years now. Remaining flexible with each individual animals needs. Friends have called me when they will be away for long weekends, I’m very flexible and am here to make sure your dogs, cats and any other pets are taken care of so you can enjoy your vacations, long weekends, nights out, whatever it may be. Hosting: We have a family of 4 as of right now and one more on the way. My wonderful husband Jase helps welcome our furry guests with an abundance of belly rubs and play time, I have a 7 year old son who adores all of the pups we welcome in and always asks if they can stay a little longer. He helps get out any of that playful energy as well! We also have a 6 year old Corgi who can be sassy and jealous at the first meet (never any bites or fights, usually just a singular jealous grumble) but after a little butt sniffing and 10 minutes of meeting the pup she is totally fine. She’s very mellow and is now warmed up to us welcoming other pups into our home. She just has to go into the grass and do a few “territory kicks” to make sure the other pup knows that “this is her house” 😂. Since we do have a kiddo and I am currently expecting we do require a short meet and greet before every overnight/extended stay for everyone’s safety. House Sitting/Cat care: Unfortunately as of right now I can’t open up my house sitting services at this time, and can only visit cats if they do not require litter box cleaning (if you have an automatic litter box I can still come check on, feed and play with kitties though)! Drop In Visits with Pups: As of right now I am still currently accepting drop in visits for now, but do also require meet and greets before drop in visits as well. Thank you for considering me to care for your pups, and I can’t wait to meet you all! I am currently working as a house cleaner. I typically work 6 hours a day (3 hours a house), having time to stop and check on doggies in between houses and in between classes as well. I have a beautiful family at home so on the weekends I typically like to spend time with them! My partner, our 7 year old son, our Corgi Coffee and I have made the decision to open our home up for boarding allowing us to all care and love on the pups while also being able to have more quality family time together. While at the home of other pets I try and make the pet feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are away, making sure to keep their routines about the same. I will have owners leave instructions of care for me, along with feeding times, if they have any silly personality traits or triggers, leave any medications they may need, etc. I always make sure to know where the food, toys, leash and treats are. In my own home, owners can bring crates if needed, animals can sleep in our bed or owners can bring their doggie beds. We have a large backyard, but it is not fenced in, we currently have one lead we use for doggies, and owners can also bring their own. Feeding time will stay to what the dogs are use to and owners should leave instructions for care/routines for me so even though they’re in a new space, they have some consistency with their schedules!

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.
“Where do I start! Melissa and Family are truly the BEST Rover experience we have had! EVER! The care Bella received was priceless! The house and grounds are a dog’s paradise!!! And the humans made sure Bella had daily walks in the woods, swim in the pond, chasing squirrels and chipmunks …so much so, Bella ate and slept well. This is a FIRST FOLKS! I was thinking Bella wouldn’t want to come back home she was having such an amazing time. I know Bella will miss her new human friends and Dhooney that is Bella’s newest best fur friend! About: I’ve been known as a dog whisperer by family, dogs love me and I love dogs. I have raised 3 and owned 4 since the age of 12. I have grown a love for the animal and everything about them. Going on daily walks and making sure my pets always are paid attention too are my top priorities. Moving about to Maine I have found a love for cats the same I have for dogs. Cats were always misinterpreted in my family growing up. We never had one in the house and so I was hesitant in how I could live with 3 of them when moving out. That hesitation disappeared when I moved up here in 2024. I love cats as much as I do dogs now when I discovered they can be just as cuddly and playful, if not more, than dogs! Working part time my schedule is very flexible. Latest I’m available ranges each week. As long as I get some kind of message on what’s good for you I’m sure I can squeeze your pet in! I go off what the pet wants and how we can work around that so that I can provide my best care. Each dog is different so their dislikes and likes are something that needs to be expressed.

About: I have two labs, one is six years old and the second is six months old. People have trusted me to take care of their dogs for years and I love being around animals. I currently work full-time from home and I’m outside with my dogs every day playing! pet care is a necessity for me as my world revolves around my girls. About: From the time I was young, I’ve always had my own animals to include cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, and into my adult life. I continue to have dogs and ferrets as well as cats. My parents have always had dogs as well and have had a few litters of puppies that I have assisted with, and my dog has had her own litter of puppies so I’m very familiar with young dogs and training and patience. I’ve never worked in a vet clinic, but I have many years of clinical experience with humans so I do have that background. I work from home Monday through Friday and my home office is in our finished basement so the dogs have their own space in the basement with food, water, toys, beds, puppy pads as well as full access to my office to come and go as they please and they just spend the day with me while I’m working. We live on the lake so we don’t have a large yard but it’s also a private road so there’s no traffic and I have an outdoor pen for the dogs but when I’m not working, I also am outside with them so they are always being watched and tended to. I will take them swimming in the lake or out on the canoe if that is something that is OK with pet parents and we do go for walks in the mornings before I start my workday and at lunchtime if the weather permits.

About: I have cared for the dogs and cats of family members, friends and coworkers when needed, for years. I personally have a dog and cat. My dog is a sweet boy but he is reactive to other dogs. Before him I had never worked with/known a dog that has reactive tendencies. I have learned a lot over the last 7-8 years about reactivity, especially dogs being reactive towards other dogs. I have cared for as many as three dogs and three cats at a time including puppies and senior dogs. I currently work full time but have developed a good schedule for when I do check in/drop ins for those I pet sit for. If someone is out of town and leaving their pets at home for a check in/drop-in schedule I would typically drop in, in the morning before work, around lunch time, around dinner time and again before bed if the owner requests. I have recently cared for three dogs and a cat for almost two weeks for a coworker and this schedule worked well. I will adhere to any instructions that a pet owner provides. I will make sure that the animals are well cared for and report any concerns I may have for the pets while caring for them. Whether it is a drop in to let a dog out to go to the bathroom at lunch time, walking a dog, feeding the pets, etc.

About: Hello, my name is Kristopher Vladyka and I'm located right by the Bangor airport. I have years of experience taking care of both dogs and cats, as well as smaller animals such as rodents. I've been around pets for most of my life and I have been a pet owner for years. I have been a professional Sitter and Boarder on Rover since August 2021. Through my time as a professional pet sitter and pet boarder I have taken care of many different breeds, such as Maltese, Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Labradoodles, Pitbulls, Boxers, Labs, Beagles, pugs, etc. I have also gained invaluable experience taking care of young puppies, elderly dogs, and dogs with special needs. I can administer oral medications as well as lift and carry dogs up to 50 pounds. With every client I try to go above and beyond during the stay. You can expect good quality pictures of your lovely pet as well as detailed updates on how the stay is going. Your pet will always come first when they are in my care, and will always be prioritized during the stay. Their happiness and safety matter most to me. I'm currently working as a Professional pet sitter and pet boarder full time, so I have the time and energy to dedicate to taking care of your pets. As a fellow pet owner, I know that your pets are like family, so while they're in my care I'll treat them the same and make sure they are loved and cared for to the best of my ability. Also, because this is my full-time job, I am very flexible with drop-off/pick-up times and understand that they're often more of an estimate. I've taken dogs in as late as midnight, and have had them picked up at similar times. I try to work with the owner's schedule as best as I can, as long as I'm available. **I accept last minute requests, especially in cases of emergencies, as long as I'm available. I live in a very safe neighborhood, however my yard is not fenced, so any dogs will need to come with a leash and collar or harness. I have experience walking large breeds and am okay with some tugging. As I do live in an apartment building, and my apartment is on the second story, there are stairs going up to my apartment. With small to medium breeds, if your dog doesn't mind being picked up, I have no problem carrying them up and down the stairs during their stay. Your pet will be safe in my care, as I have the time to keep my eyes on them and make sure they're both happy and healthy during their stay with me. I will be able to follow the feeding schedule/routine that is given to me for the pet and I will never ever give any pet food (outside of what's packed for them) or treats without explicit permission from the owner first unless prior permission is given (such as treats being packed for the pet in my care).

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid, I’ve had all different breeds and love them all. Allow me to love and care for your fur babies the same way! I’m currently in college and working part time! But I still have lots of free time in the mornings and some afternoons to spend time with your fur babies! About: As a pet lover for my entire life, I am very open to who I will take in. I have taken care of my family’s dogs and cats. As well as friends’ pets as well. Not just our small pets. I worked on my family farm in the middle of Maine near Dover-Foxcroft. That included Horses, chickens, occasionally some cows and donkeys. Currently not offering in home services, or house sitting services. However, when checking in or walking pups I do make sure water bowl is filled if I notice it’s low and I make sure to bring a pop up water bowl on long walks in the summer.
About: I’ve been known as a dog whisperer by family, dogs love me and I love dogs. I have raised 3 and owned 4 since the age of 12. I have grown a love for the animal and everything about them. Going on daily walks and making sure my pets always are paid attention too are my top priorities. Moving about to Maine I have found a love for cats the same I have for dogs. Cats were always misinterpreted in my family growing up. We never had one in the house and so I was hesitant in how I could live with 3 of them when moving out. That hesitation disappeared when I moved up here in 2024. I love cats as much as I do dogs now when I discovered they can be just as cuddly and playful, if not more, than dogs! Working part time my schedule is very flexible. Latest I’m available ranges each week. As long as I get some kind of message on what’s good for you I’m sure I can squeeze your pet in! I go off what the pet wants and how we can work around that so that I can provide my best care. Each dog is different so their dislikes and likes are something that needs to be expressed.

About: Hi I’m Olivia, I’m a veterinary assistant working through getting my Veterinary Technician license online and I also have a bachelors in animal sciences! Along with currently working at a veterinary clinic, I also worked as a care technician in a shelter for 4 years, helping animals and caring for them is my passion, and along side that I love helping people as well. I’m well versed in handling dogs of all sizes from walking them to providing them with medication! I’ve been around animals my whole life from dogs and cats to horses and cows and would love to help you as well! About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.
“Where do I start! Melissa and Family are truly the BEST Rover experience we have had! EVER! The care Bella received was priceless! The house and grounds are a dog’s paradise!!! And the humans made sure Bella had daily walks in the woods, swim in the pond, chasing squirrels and chipmunks …so much so, Bella ate and slept well. This is a FIRST FOLKS! I was thinking Bella wouldn’t want to come back home she was having such an amazing time. I know Bella will miss her new human friends and Dhooney that is Bella’s newest best fur friend! About: I provide calm, reliable care in a quite setting. I have plenty of fenced in outdoor space for dogs to explore and get exercise. I will make sure they feel at home and well cared for.
