We've never left our 4 year yorkie mix with a stranger before so we were a bit concerned as we had to make a quick arrangement due to a family emergency. Joe sent us numerous pictures, texts, videos and responded to all our check ins within minutes. Joe accommodated our dog and did his best to make him feel comfortalbe as he was a bit nervous and not eating as well as usual. Our dog looked peaceful and content waiting to return home to his family. Joe was good enough to send us a video of our dog eating so we knew he was getting nourished. When he came home our dog was in great shape and we could tell he was so very well cared for and loved. We give Joe our highest recommendation!”

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

When one of my cats had a flare up of his urinary crystals while we were away, she quickly notified me of the change in his behavior. I live in a very safe neighborhood, however my yard is not fenced, so any dogs will need to come with a leash and collar or harness. I have experience walking large breeds and am okay with some tugging. As I do live in an apartment building, and my apartment is on the second story, there are stairs going up to my apartment. With small to medium breeds, if your dog doesn't mind being picked up, I have no problem carrying them up and down the stairs during their stay. Your pet will be safe in my care, as I have the time to keep my eyes on them and make sure they're both happy and healthy during their stay with me. I will be able to follow the feeding schedule/routine that is given to me for the pet and I will never ever give any pet food (outside of what's packed for them) or treats without explicit permission from the owner first unless prior permission is given (such as treats being packed for the pet in my care).
About: I used to work in a Kennel and worked with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I have worked with mean dogs and lovely dogs. I have worked with senior dogs as well. Growing up I have always had animals in my house and I always plan to. I work at a senior care facility in 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts. Seeing as I do work long shifts, my mother is able to run over and let dogs out during the day. I help a friend out at Dirigo Pines every so often, usually for 6 hours, but can take breaks. Other than that I just sit at the house I'm at amd relax. I dont get out of work late, usually six and feed dinner when I get home. I dont have any pets at the moment, but always have throughout my life. I have had a deaf cat, senior dogs and small animals. I can give medication if needed. I also try to take wals if the weather is nice.
About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

About: I’ve been known as a dog whisper by family, dogs love me and I love dogs. Being that I’ve raised 3 and owned 4 since the age of 12, I have grown a love for the animal and everything about them. Going on daily walks and making sure my pets always are paid attention too are my top priorities. Working part time my schedule is very flexible. Latest I’m available ranges each week. As long as I get some kind of message on what’s good for you I’m sure I can squeeze your pet in! I go off what the pet wants and how we can work around that so that I can provide my best care. About: I've been taking care of cats as long as I can remember. I don't currently have a dog but I frequently take care of my aunt's Great Pyrenees and I've taken care of many other dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and I'm free any day of the week for sitting. I would be happy to take care of any kind of dog or cat. I usually consult the owner and try to stick to the pets regular schedule as close as possible. I usually visit dogs three or four times a day and do one or two walks and for cats I visit once or twice a day or as many times as the owner would like.

I am a teacher, so come summer time I will have a large amount of availability to walk or pet sit! We've never left our 4 year yorkie mix with a stranger before so we were a bit concerned as we had to make a quick arrangement due to a family emergency. Joe sent us numerous pictures, texts, videos and responded to all our check ins within minutes. Joe accommodated our dog and did his best to make him feel comfortalbe as he was a bit nervous and not eating as well as usual.
