“Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. The pics on my profile are from my farm. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

Also volunteered at the animal shelter, attended a dog training course, and took the vocational Health Occupations course in High School which included job shadowing at a vet's office. Scheduling should be pretty flexible. We are located in Wells & work part time locally. Please inform us what your needs are and we will try to accommodate! We live in an apartment so we will care for your dogs inside as well as giving them walks & allowing them in the yard on long leashes. Our two dogs will be overjoyed to have playmates, but if yours are shy or nervous we can keep them separated. Trips to the beach, dog park, or walking trails are also doable!

About: Kristine and Eric have loved and had animals our entire life. I have always helped care for pets, even as a child. Eric was raised on a farm, caring for many different kinds of animals- waking up before dawn to ensure that all animals were properly cared for and had what they needed for the day whether it be rain, shine, snow, sleet, hot, or cold. We, together, have two dogs. They are both around 10 years old and are rescues. We also have 6 chickens. Our home has a door from the downstairs to the upstairs. When dogs are home during the day and if left alone for 1 hour or so they stay downstairs with access to water, comfy couches, and dog bed areas. When we are home they have free run of the home. We also have a crate for dogs that may need a private, safe space. We have a back yard that our dog enjoys playing in, but just so you know it is not fenced in, therefore dogs remain leashed when in the back yard. We do have a deck that is closed off in the backyard where dogs can be left unleashed to hang out, but always supervised when out there. We also have a 15 year old daughter who loves animals. She assists with the care of our dogs and we have fostered a few dogs in the past from various shelters and she is always eager to assist with making these dogs feel comfortable and give them love. She volunteers at a local animal shelter with small mammals and takes care of the chickens I work full time during the school year for a school district. Eric works from home. Eric takes dogs for a number of walks per day including walks to the local dog park (Rogers Park) and to local beaches for exercise and socialization. I am home by 3:30 pm and bring my dogs (and other dogs) for exercise either running, hiking, or walking. In the summer I am mostly around. I also grew up with cats and with both have experience with cats and providing meds to cats, including insulin shots. I work full time and Eric works part to full time but we can walk dogs in the evening and walk dogs throughout the day on the weekends. I have summers off as I work in a school. I will not be offering care in my home, but am excited to take care of your pet and walk your dog and take your dog on adventures.

Sometimes on the weekend I will take them to a walking trail or dog park. I always ensure my pets are taken care of first and since I work from home it really allows me to cater my schedule around their needs. My animals are truly my world. Comfort is the most important part! A lot of our time is always great, off leash and the ability to be free and sniff around. About: I am confident with all types of animals. I have taken care of donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, cats, dogs, horses, and chickens. I had a horse donkey and goat for five years. I also have worked at a horse barn for four years. I have dog sit before for friends and family. I have a dog named Charlie. He's a British cream golden retriever and he gets along with all pets. I enjoy dog walking, and dog sitting. I am a senior in high school so I can either have dogs at my house or I can go before school and right after school and dinner time to take care of the dog/dogs. About: I have grown up with dogs in my house, from both a rescue and puppy age. My neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs, both staying overnight and taking them on walks. I am a recent college graduate, spending my summer applying to jobs, so I have a lot of free time that can be spent taking care of your animals! “Benji had a great time staying with Nicholas and his family. I know this because Nicholas sent me lots of pictures and I was able to see that Benji was very chill, enjoying tummy rubs, getting along well with Nicholas' other 3 dogs and finding his place to relax right under their desk (just like he does at home). Benji has a sensitive stomach and often doesn't eat for the first couple of days. When his appetite did pick up, Nicholas was careful to make sure that Benji ate only his special food and that kept his GI track working properly! On the day of our return, our pickup time had to be delayed because of a flight change, but this was not a problem at all for Nicholas. We will definitely reach out to Nicholas the next time that we have need for a pet sitter.”

About: I've had large dogs my entire life, including a special needs dog and police-trained K9 dogs. I have owned and operated a farm hotel in Brazil for the past 5 years, where I was the primary responsible for all daily care, injections, medical treatments and behavioral work with the animals (5 large dogs and multiple farm animals), so am very comfortable administering any special care your animal may need. I have also rescued & fostered nearly a dozen dogs from the street and helped them find forever homes. I love all animals and understand each one is different with unique personalities. I work from home which allows me to always be present to keep your pet company, and love taking small cuddle, walk and play breaks throughout the day to break up my desk routine. Having extra dogs is the perfect excuse to stretch my legs! I live alone in a spacious apartment downtown Portsmouth where I can board up to 2 large dogs or 3 small dogs at a time. I am only a 5min walk from the Mill Pond dog park and can take your dog for several walks throughout the day. I can also crate your dog if they prefer it. I can administer medication and provide any special treatment necessary. I treat all pets as my own, like members of my family.

My sister is a veterinarian so I often get the pet questions. I will go above and beyond for your pet. I work from home Monday and Tuesday so I am free to go for walks and drop by your house most of the time these days.
