We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! About: I’m a huge dog lover and have owned and trained dogs in the past. I understand completely how pet parents need some help or even some free time off from dog duties. I have a super inviting young French Bulldog who will be spending his days with any new doggy friends. I’m currently a full time EMT and work three days out of the week. I’m open to providing dog boarding and day care at the moment in my home. I am willing to work on any training in our time together as well. And I have experience accommodating special diets or even trips to the vet. Even puppy’s and senior dogs I’m open to working with. But if you have rules you are working on we are happy to help with those too. We have a large fenced in yard but the snow is high right now. So to be safe we are only taking dogs under 30 lbs. “Connor was great with our dog Bolt! This was our first time going through the app, she made it very easy. We were bringing Bolt to a boarding place nearby but would always feel very on edge and worrying while on vacation. He would come home from the boarding place and his elbows were very rough and red and he would be so thirsty. I picked him up from Connor and he was fine, like he never left home. He was a little tired but that’s to be expected going to a new place. Connor’s house was clean and she has a very nice yard and large covered porch she sat under with him. She was easy to communicate with and flexible. As soon as I met her and she met my dog, I knew we were going to be good! I plan to bring him to her again soon and will continue to for as long as I can!”

About: I grew up around all sorts of animals. We always had a dog and a cat or two. We also had birds and a bunny and also a hamster. I love walking and playing with dogs and I get along with all different breeds and sizes. I don’t currently have a full time job so I’m available pretty much anytime. I’m available for boarding and visits during the week and weekends. I have a good sized unfenced yard with a half an acre of woods in the back. I also have a dog of my own who loves other dogs and would love a playmate. I can crate your dog if needed.
