About: Not only have I been a pet owner for my whole life I have also been put in charge of taking care of family member's pets, former bosses pets, and friends pets. I have taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, and more. I can feed, walk, play, do some minor grooming(brushing and bathing) for your pets. I am a proud owner of a horse, dog, and 2 cats. I also work at a farm with dogs and bigger farm animals, my whole routine focuses around them and how well they are doing. About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: I have experience with very shy and reserved dogs to dogs with more personality than sense! I've worked with many different breeds, from doxins and Jack Russels to boxers, Staffies, and St Bernards, and dogs of all ages. I have experience with senior dogs, and dogs with many health issues, including seizures, surgery recovery, and dogs that need LOTS of medication. Whether they are clingy couch potatoes or would rather have their space, I have had them in my house! I currently work full time, but with a hybrid schedule, and would be able to be fully available for your pets when working from home and weekends. I have a fenced in yard with grass and lots of things to explore and observe. No other dogs in the house currently. Plenty of windows if your dog likes to supervise their surroundings, and plenty of dog toys and room to play inside. If your dog prefers smaller areas, the house is easily sectioned off for safe spaces to decompress, and there is room for a crate if that is what they want/need. Lots of walking trails through the neighborhood and woods for adventures.

About: I have 2 German Shorthaired Pointers a lab puppy & 2 guinea pigs. I’ve been in the Vet Med field for 4 years. I am currently in school at community college for a Veterinarian Technician degree program and working at a vet hospital in Westminster md. I am currently doing school at a community college in Westminster MD and working at a veterinary hospital. I have a very laid back lifestyle. I do home visits, walks and overnight care at your place. I do not care for your pets at my place, nor do I bring my pets to your place. I also have experience with Hamsters, Guinea pigs, Horses Chickens and Chinchillas.
About: I owned a dog for 13 years before she passed away, I was in charge of feeding her and I would take care of her while my parents were gone. I also have watched cats several times while they’re owners are away. I work 2 part time jobs, so weekday care might look differently than the weekend, but I am always willing to try and fit watching your pet into it my schedule! When I had my own dog I would feed and give water to her everyday, take her out to potty multiple times a day, take her on walks, and play. With cats, I always make sure they’re fed and have water, litter box is clean, and if they would like to play I play with them!
About: I will treat your pet as if it is my own and will make sure they stay calm and happy while you are away!! I have experience with older dogs and puppies! I am available almost all summer.I am a full time college student working on my Bachelors of science but I am home for the summer. Pet sitting can be fit into my schedule as needed. I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.
About: I am a long-time animal lover and human companion to many dogs! I adore my 4 rescue dogs, my 2 rescue cats, and my 2 happy humans! We spend our time creating a fun, happy, positive atmosphere full of good energy! I am experienced in caring for all types of dogs and cats, chickens, small animals, and have basic equine care experience. I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. I have fostered and provided support for dogs from young puppies to seniors that require special treatment, diet, medication and/or physical assistance, including amputee rehabilitation. One of my rescues (Penny) is blind, Luna has a single lung after three heart surgeries, and two are active seniors, Lani and Fiji! I use touch therapy on my dogs, along with holistic methods and work hard to keep our home full of health and happiness. Making sure our beautiful companions are comfortable, happy, and healthy is my goal! I feed my own dogs a holistic and healthy diet, and make their food and snacks myself. I volunteer with a local pet rescue group, where I transport animals, and help the organization with applications and adoptions. My true passion is to make babies with 4 legs wag their tails and show me that their hearts are truly happy! I am excited to bring my love, care, and joy to your pets, too!

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
