This was our first time ever leaving our two-year-old pups, Ziggy and Ellie, with anyone, and we were going to be away for a very long trip. Naturally, we were nervous, but from the very beginning, Karen made the entire process feel seamless and immediately helped put our minds at ease. Before our meet and greet, I let Karen know that our schnauzer, Ziggy, can be protective when meeting someone new. Karen knew exactly how to approach the situation and took the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. It was clear right away that she is experienced with dogs and genuinely understands and cares about them. While we were away, Karen treated Ziggy and Ellie as if they were her own. She sent us daily updates, pictures, and videos, which meant more to us than she probably realizes. Being so far away from them for the first time was difficult, and seeing their faces and knowing they were happy, safe, and being loved gave us so much peace of mind. Unfortunately, both of our dogs became sick while we were gone, which meant a lot of extra work, cleanup, and special attention. Karen never hesitated. About: I’ve been taking care of my dogs ever since I was able to walk. I enjoy spending time with my dog and taking her for walks and adventures. Currently work a part-time job that is very flexible with hours. I normally work mostly evenings and my morning/afternoons are normally opening would be able to work evenings also if needed. I feed my dog every day I take her for walks most days. I take her outside to go play frisbee and to go to the bathroom when needed.

About: I have experience with very shy and reserved dogs to dogs with more personality than sense! I've worked with many different breeds, from doxins and Jack Russels to boxers, Staffies, and St Bernards, and dogs of all ages. I have experience with senior dogs, and dogs with many health issues, including seizures, surgery recovery, and dogs that need LOTS of medication. Whether they are clingy couch potatoes or would rather have their space, I have had them in my house! I currently work full time, but with a hybrid schedule, and would be able to be fully available for your pets when working from home and weekends. I have a fenced in yard with grass and lots of things to explore and observe. No other dogs in the house currently. Plenty of windows if your dog likes to supervise their surroundings, and plenty of dog toys and room to play inside. If your dog prefers smaller areas, the house is easily sectioned off for safe spaces to decompress, and there is room for a crate if that is what they want/need. Lots of walking trails through the neighborhood and woods for adventures.

I am available almost all summer.I am a full time college student working on my Bachelors of science but I am home for the summer. Pet sitting can be fit into my schedule as needed. I can let the dogs run outside for a while in a fenced yard, I can take them on walks through the neighborhood, I can practice commands, or just give some snuggles.
About: I am a long-time animal lover and human companion to many dogs! I adore my 4 rescue dogs, my 2 rescue cats, and my 2 happy humans! I am experienced in caring for all types of dogs and cats, chickens, small animals, and have basic equine care experience. I have cared for dogs for over 30 years. I have fostered and provided support for dogs from young puppies to seniors that require special treatment, diet, medication and/or physical assistance, including amputee rehabilitation. One of my rescues (Penny) is blind, Luna has a single lung after three heart surgeries, and two are active seniors, Lani and Fiji! I use touch therapy on my dogs, along with holistic methods and work hard to keep our home full of health and happiness. Making sure our beautiful companions are comfortable, happy, and healthy is my goal! I feed my own dogs a holistic and healthy diet, and make their food and snacks myself. I volunteer with a local pet rescue group, where I transport animals, and help the organization with applications and adoptions. My true passion is to make babies with 4 legs wag their tails and show me that their hearts are truly happy! I am excited to bring my love, care, and joy to your pets, too!

This was our first time ever leaving our two-year-old pups, Ziggy and Ellie, with anyone, and we were going to be away for a very long trip. Naturally, we were nervous, but from the very beginning, Karen made the entire process feel seamless and immediately helped put our minds at ease. Before our meet and greet, I let Karen know that our schnauzer, Ziggy, can be protective when meeting someone new. Karen knew exactly how to approach the situation and took the time to make him feel comfortable and safe. It was clear right away that she is experienced with dogs and genuinely understands and cares about them. While we were away, Karen treated Ziggy and Ellie as if they were her own. She sent us daily updates, pictures, and videos, which meant more to us than she probably realizes. Being so far away from them for the first time was difficult, and seeing their faces and knowing they were happy, safe, and being loved gave us so much peace of mind. Unfortunately, both of our dogs became sick while we were gone, which meant a lot of extra work, cleanup, and special attention. Karen never hesitated. She went above and beyond to care for them and even had to take Ellie to the veterinarian. At times, we had limited phone service while traveling, and Karen helped communicate with the vet and made sure we stayed informed and Ellie received the care she needed. Having someone we could trust to handle such a stressful situation while we were so far away was absolutely invaluable. Karen exceeded every expectation we had. She wasn't simply a pet sitter—she became someone we completely trusted with two very important members of our family. Knowing that Ziggy and Ellie were being cared for with so much patience, compassion, and love allowed us to enjoy our trip without constantly worrying about them. About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I’ve learned that every pup is different and deserves care that’s just as unique as they are. For the past 7+ years, I’ve also been fostering dogs through local rescues. Helping dogs transition from uncertain beginnings into loving homes has been incredibly rewarding and has given me experience with many different temperaments, energy levels, and personalities. The idea of boarding dogs in my home came from a challenge I faced myself — finding a place that truly felt safe, loving, and comfortable for my own dogs when I had to go away. I wanted more than just a place for them to stay. I wanted them to feel cared for, understood, and treated like family. When your dog stays with me they will enjoy plenty of safe, supervised playtime in a large, fully fenced yard, giving them space to run, explore, and burn off those zoomies. Whether your dog loves active play or relaxing cuddle time, their comfort, safety, and happiness always come first. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. We’re used to having dogs around and all the activity and responsibility that comes with them, so caring for pets feels like a normal part of everyday life. When we don’t have any extras here, the house actually feels a little too quiet—like something is missing! I want every pet in my home to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. I try to keep their routine and familiar comforts as much as I can—if they sleep in the bed at home, they’re welcome in the bed here; if they love curling up on the couch, that’s where they’ll be. My goal is to make their stay feel like a vacation, not a kennel stay. I want them to feel safe, relaxed, loved, and right at home while their family is away.
