About: I’m a loving pet mom who enjoys caring for animals, giving them attention, affection, walks, playtime, and making them feel safe and comfortable every day. I work an early schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, which gives me plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings for walks, playtime, and attention. I’m off Sundays and Mondays, giving me even more flexibility for pet care and boarding. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy time outside. I also have two dogs and a cat at home, so I’m used to caring for multiple pets. I’ll follow your pet’s routine and instructions closely while providing plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and walks. About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. About: I have had pets since a child (duck, rabbit, dogs, cats, iguanas) and just love them. I let dogs take their time when exploring and I don’t rush them unless I see that they have found a Scooby snack. Most dogs prefer to sit in my lap even when in the presence of their owner. They love me and I love them even the sassiest of them. I work from home which allows me to be available 24 hours a day. If your pet is a foodie, they will love it here (salmon bites, duck necks, chicken feet, ice cream, pup cups and frozen fruit on hot days). I will send an update the first evening and the morning after so you are certain that they have settled in. Thereafter I will send a picture or video daily but you are welcomed to check in at any time. My assistant Imani (my mom who lives with and assists with sitting), also enjoys loving on and helping with your babies. She may help with check in/ check out and walks. **I now have a cat and cannot accept dogs that aren’t cat friendly. I also cannot accept unfixed dogs and dogs that aren’t housebroken. I walk 3-5 miles in the morning and another in the evenings (less depending on the weather). I would love to take your baby along. I have a friendly dog. I use baby gates and can also crate your dog (you must bring the crate with you). They would sleep in my bedroom on the dog beds and have free range of the house (except the kitchen which has a gate up).

I work full time from home and have the flexibility to entertain, walk, or cuddle your pup for the majority of the day. If you dog comes to my home, I own a 6 year old golden retriever and your dog can join us on the many walks we take! If your dog prefers a solo walk, I am a very active person so I have no issue providing them that 1:1 attention! I am experienced with medication administration as well as dogs with special needs. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was in 5th grade. I have had a dog my whole life who is dog reactive and territorial and I have played a huge part in training her. I have taken care of my neighbors' pets and my family members' pets for the past 12 years every time they go away on vacation or need last-minute emergency help. I have also trained the dogs that I have had. I work full-time, but my schedule rotates every three weeks — so I always have afternoons free after four, plus two full days off each week. That means I’m available for midday walks, evening visits, and weekend coverage without any gaps. She met us for not 1, but 2 meet and greets beforehand to make sure that our dog was comfortable with her. She sent pictures updates during his stay, and even sent him home with a little treat! “Leah and Shawn were fantastic sitters for my Pitsky, Finnegan! I was traveling from out of state (looking to move to Baltimore) and felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. They are both very laid-back, knowledgeable people who clearly understand dogs and dog behavior. Finnegan is a higher energy dog, and they were more than capable of handling the things that come along with that. I appreciated receiving updates and a few photos while I was away, which gave me peace of mind he was doing well. When I picked Finnegan up, he seemed very happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I can tell Leah and Shawn have a love for dogs that extends beyond their two very sweet resident pups, Olive and Zoe, who were such gracious hosts to have my little monster as a guest for an extended weekend stay. I would absolutely book with Leah and Shawn again and we fully intend to use them for future stays. Highly recommend!”

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
