I've worked closely with large animals with behavioral problems, so I'm down the handle whatever quirks your pet has. This is a great opportunity for your dog to come stay and play. For best care, I only take pets from one family at a time in addition to my own. About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. I currently work part-time and unfortunately my hours change every week, so I can't take on consistent requests at the moment. I am still available to schedule individual week-of appointments, but I cannot guarantee availability more than one week out. As far as working with pets in your home, please let me know your house rules. I generally use whatever items the pet uses at home (leash, treats, etc) for the sake of consistency for the pet and pet parent.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12 and can’t imagine life without them! While serving in the Navy, I volunteered at military kennels, and later worked at a doggy daycare/boarding/training facility in Texas. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior pets, and I share my home with a sweet 10-year-old lab and a 2-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat. Reliable, patient, and attentive — I promise to treat your pets like my own. I have a flexible schedule and lots of love to give! Whether it’s a quick walk or a cozy check-in, I’ll make sure your furry family members get plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. During walks, I pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings to ensure a fun and secure outing. About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.
About: I have grown up loving dogs my entire life. I was lucky enough to have two of my own Lucy and Wilson who were truly part of my family and meant everything to me. Since coming to college I have not been around dogs at all and I miss that connection more than I realized. Being around dogs brings me a lot of happiness and comfort and it is something I have always had in my life until now am a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for and giving attention to pets. I am available most weekdays all day due to online school. Some weekends are also available, although I do have an internship that takes up certain weekends I treat every pet as if they are my own and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I carefully follow feeding, walking, and medication instructions and make sure your pet feels secure and loved in my care

I would love to help your dog as well I’m currently a student at Salisbury university but I am commuting so I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursdays. When caring for pets in your home, I treat them as if they were my own. I prioritize their comfort and well-being by following their usual routines, providing plenty of playtime, and ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. I maintain a clean and safe environment, taking extra care with feeding, grooming, and any special needs they may have, such as administering medications. My goal is to keep your pets happy and stress-free until you return.

I knew from the moment we did a meet & greet before we officially did the booking. Helped me get to know her and her own two dogs and it was great! Hibana has the best 5 days there :) and I got pictures every day which made me feel better about leaving my dog lol. Hibana is an apartment dog so she was in love with Marta’s back yard. And since this is Marta’s full time job her attention was on the dogs all the time. Would 100% recommend. If I could give her 10 stars I would lol.”
