Personalized care for your dog or cat - Wiggins Corner

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Wiggins Corner

“Michelle is fantastic, as well as unbelievably accommodating!! She picked up and dropped off my dog when my plans were changed. Previously she took my Tobey in at a moments notice when I was hospitalized in May for an infection/surgery for a week. Michelle takes great care of the dog with walks& fresh air. She also sends an evening update with how he/she/they are doing with pictures. Would highly recommend!! I’m hesitant as well, to keep up the praise she deserves, because I want to make sure she is available to take Tobey when I need her, and not be booked!!?”

“Shuling was very attentive and kept in contact with us during Gizmo’s stay. We received several photos throughout the weekend. With Gizmo being blind, we are always concerned for her safety but Shuling set our minds at ease. Will definitely use her again when we come to Annapolis. 🥰”

“Lindsay is absolutely amazing! She treated our furr baby like her own. We are so grateful to have came across her. We will definitely be booking with her in the future. ??”

“Another stay with Carlie and we cannot recommend her enough! We always have such peace of mind with her daily updates and photos and knowing that our pup, Indi, is safe and having fun. Indi gets her own vacation when she stays here and we love knowing that our she gets to enjoy herself, too! Between Carlie's loving and kind family, the huge bonus yard, and Carlie's attention and ability to continue medicine (she even notices any behavioral changes!), we just know we've made the right choice. Do yourself a favor, and get on her schedule for your pup sitting needs! :)”

“Kiwi loves going to Auntie Kelly and Uncle Maurice’s house! She is always receiving love and lots of play time with Dallas, Meeko and the kids. I can’t say Auntie Kelly’s name at home without her getting excited. Truly a gift to have found this family for our pet care needs.”

“Mady was great. Thank you for letting me drop Honey off early in the morning, and staying up close to midnight so that I could pick her up. You listened well to Honey’s needs, and I can tell she enjoyed herself in your big backyard. Would definitely use again.”

“Elena did an amazing job with our Old English Sheepdog Lady. I could really tell that she loves taking care of animals, and she did a great job. Our dog was pretty nervous as she went to the vet the day before, but Eleana made her feel at home and I thank her for that. I highly recommend her.”
“Kimberly and her family made Ruthie fe right at home and provided her with a home away from home! They were so kind and accommodating to her. Ruthie gets anxious knowing kennels and sometimes doesn’t like other dogs, so this is the perfect solution for her. She was treated like family! We will definitely be back!”

“Jean was awesome! She sent daily photos and messages updating us about our dog. Would not hesitate to use her again in the future, and will definitely be booking again! Thank you again Jean!”

“Crystal was wonderful looking after our two small dogs! She gave them lots of attention and took great care administering medications for our elder one. Her frequent updates and communication were great! We received photos and videos of their day. Our “kids” are exhausted, in a good way. I’m pretty sure they’d have been happy to stay. We’re thankful for all of Crystal’s care and love! Knowing they’re in good hands makes our time away a little easier.”

“Our first time boarding with Shelby was a great experience! She was flexible, communicative, and followed all care instructions for our dog Loki. Will definitely be calling her up in the future.”

“I left my dog here for about a week and they were amazing. The communication was fantastic. They sent me multiple daily updates with pictures included. I would recommend them to everyone.”

“She loves dogs truly. She let our little dog to sleep on her bed first night to let him feel like home. She updated and sent photos twice a day. The little dog seems to make the furry friends and like his stay”

“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“If I could give more than five stars, I would! Janice and Stalio were wonderful dog sitters to my two toy fox terriers. They sent updates and photos during my trip to Iceland for a week. No complaints whatsoever, I couldn’t recommend them more!”

“Trey and Melissa are a gift to not just me and my family but my sweet dog. They took amazing loving care of my dog, sent regular updates and treated Mabel like one of their own. Top notch!!! FIVE STAR!!”

“Very smooth experience and great stay! They were very kind to our older beagle and he got along well with their dog so everyone was happy. We appreciate it!”

“Bo was great! I appreciate her detailed updates on how my cat was doing. It was nice I felt confident that Bo would be visiting, playing with and taking care of her every day. I think Gwen missed that she did not return when pet sitting ended!”

About: I love cats! I grew up with cats, worked with shelter cats, stray cats, kittens and elderly cats, you name it. Working with cats is about respecting boundaries and remembering to wear long sleeves (claws a not always meant to be unkind after all, especially with kittens).
“Emmy was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our baby while we were away and went above and beyond to stay in touch and make sure he always had what he needed. We highly recommend Emmy and will definitely be using her again. Thank you, Emmy!”

“Savannah was so friendly and helpful. She handled everything how i would have. My boys are pretty emergentic and cuddly- she was able to really help me feel at ease while we were gone. She did a wonderful job and we will be using her again for sure!”

“Courtney was absolutely amazing. She sent plenty of photos along with thoughtful, detailed updates, and my cat clearly adored her. I’m so grateful for her — especially for being so flexible on such short notice. I would book her again in a heartbeat, 1000%!”

“Thank you Hannah for this trial run. Taking the time to get to know my boys & their schedules We are looking forward to our vacation now knowing they will be well taken care of while we are gone”

“Bryan did an excellent job dropping in on our two elderly dogs and my cat 4x a day for three days. I highly recommend him. He followed my instructions with medications for my dogs precisely. Walked and spent time with them all and sent great pictures and reports daily. We are very pleased with Bryan’s outstanding care for our fur babies. I already rebooked with him for future dates.”

About: I have had cats as a part of my family, almost my entire life. In 2014, I had adopted Oliver, the first cat that I have had on my own. He has travelled across the country with me 3 times, moved to many new places and is quite the emotional guy. Recently, he had been diagnosed with diabetes, so I am well versed in taking care of cats who are diabetic or are experiencing medical complications.

About: I have taken care of my cat at home since we rescued him. Now I am responsible for feeding him, giving him water, playing with him, and brushing him. I have taken care of pets before and I believe they deserve as much playtime as any other pet! I promise to live your cat like my own (and mine is my bestfriend)!

“Cristina is an excellent pet sitter! Our sweet kitty is in end stage cancer and Cristina took such great care of her, ensuring she got her shot and monitored her food/water intake to assure us that all was well while we were away. I would definitely hire Cristina again!”

“Katelyn was very generous and helpful! She asked all the questions and was prepared. Our pets ended up enjoying her presence as they warmed up to her. I definitely would recommend her coming back to care for our pets if she is still around! Even through our long week away, and the weather wasn’t entirely the best, Katelyn ensure that she came and took care of our pets. And was super kind enough to clear our pathways entry to our home. I can never be grateful than that.”

“Thanks Phoenix. Reliable, got the job done well and a caring person to trust with my cat visits. I appreciate you watching my kitty kid and will be in contact again for your great services ASAP.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Wiggins Corner
“Can’t thank Sydney enough for a wonderful day at her home for Aurora! Everything was perfect, with plenty of room to run outside and enjoy the outdoors. Even made a new friend! Can’t wait to be back again soon.”

“She went above and beyond. Taking great care of our precious puppy George Bailey. It was a great relief to have someone watching him during the heat wave. She went above and beyond to help. Would book again and recommend.”

About: Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! Remi is a 2 years old, playful, dark yellow lab. He is fixed. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog. I previously owned a dog with high anxiety and wasn’t friendly with strangers. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.
“Mary was great, she just incorporated Allie into her family and daily life. She sent photos of Allie totally chilling out and interacting with people. It made me feel better knowing she was safe and content. I could see that in her face and body language.”

About: I have been caring for cats and dog since I was a freshman in high school and have pet sat for several families! I have taken care of all different breeds from small to big and young to old! Whether it’s just a quick feed, playtime, administering medicine, or overnight care, I will make sure your pet feels loved, safe, comfortable, and cared for! I currently work at a produce stand working about 5 days a week! My schedule however is extremely flexible as I get to choose the days I want off. I also work with other girls my age that pet sit and we are able to leave when needed to provide care! In my home, we have a nice sized backyard where I am able to play catch and I also live in a large neighborhood where I walk everyday and can exercise with your pet! I also have a clean house if your pet is indoors!

“I have used Michelle for both of my dogs, yesterday was her first time watching my 3 month old yorkie & she did a wonderful job. She made sure he was comfortable because he was afraid at first. I really appreciate Michelle for all of her help. I highly recommend her to anyone needing pet sitting services.”
“Roxy had a wonderful time playing with Andreas and his dog Luna. She was reluctant to leave in order to come home. The rest of the day she was happy and tired. Andreas was very pleasant to deal with. His fenced-in yard is a big plus.”

“Lucy and Daniel are a great team for the best doggy daycare you could ever want/need for your dog! My dog is extremely needy and they gave him nothing but love. We look forward to next time!”

“Laura is fantastic! Our pup Luna had a great time and loved playing around in the yard and with her two lovely pups. Laura was great to work with and sent pictures during Luna’s daycare session. Thanks!”

“Alex communicated throughout our dog’s stay, shared lots of photos, and took him out for walks. Our shy boy normally takes weeks to adjust to a new sitter, but clearly liked being with Alex and her pack.”

About: I have two cats of my own who I adore. I frequently help take care of relatives' and neighbors dogs. My own black lab recently passed and taking care of other dogs is enjoyable and therapeutic. I am a teacher and home by early afternoon . My husband is home all day and helps take care of fur babies in our home while I’m at work. I am free in the evenings and weekends to help care of your fur babies! I have a two-story home with a back yard. Typically, dogs hang out with us during the day in our family room and sleep on dog beds in my bedroom. We live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood and walk dogs during the day on leashes. We have two cats in our home who are used to having dogs in the home.
“Had work done to my home and my puppy needed a place to stay for the day. Bruno had the best time with Kacie. I received so many updates and photos. It was so comforting to know he was in great hands.”

“Diana and her family were nice enough to watch our dog on short notice for a few hours while we were driving through from out of town. Worked out great! Very nice people and our dog came back to us happy.”

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Wiggins Corner
About: I've owned pets my whole life. My gentle composure and empathic nature make them feel loved and safe with me. I fostered a puppy from the Caribbean that nobody else wants to deal with. Within a month, she let me pet her and take her on walks. I train dogs with care and lots of pets! I am a freelancer and work from home. Dogs that stay at my house can go in and out and be protected by a fenced-in yard. I will ask about diet, routines, and special needs for your pets. I will come to your house for free for a meet and greet and see if we connect with your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I always aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure in their own home. As a larger and experienced handler, I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs on leash and adapting to different energy levels—whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers relaxed companionship and a calm presence. I’m also experienced in administering most medications and providing attentive care for senior pets who may need a little extra support. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can accommodate most dogs needs! As far as overnight sitting, I will be there from 8 pm until 8 am and will also be coming by a few times a day. Puppies and youngsters (or whoever needs it!) can be accommodated with more drop ins just let me know! If you require 24/7 care this can be arranged as well just let me know prior to booking! Your dog’s comfort and routine are my top priorities. I provide focused attention, interactive play, and companionship tailored to your pup’s personality — from calm evenings at home to energetic walks or adventures at parks and trails. I’m experienced with all sizes and breeds, so whether your dog is a tiny pup or a gentle giant, they’ll receive care that’s attentive and consistent. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and fully engaged throughout their stay

“Highly recommend Ryan! He took the time to do a meet and greet and really understand my dog’s specific needs. He was very communicative and flexible whenever any changes came up, which I truly appreciated. What stood out most was how he followed my dog’s training routines and even used the exact phrases we’ve been working on. He handled my dog’s reactivity with care and confidence, and it made a huge difference. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands!”

About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. I'm currently job hunting, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I am available throughout the day. I am occasionally out of town for travel or job-search related activities. My apartment is is pet-free, so I cannot host pets at this time. As far as working with pets in your home, please let me know your house rules. I generally use whatever items the pet uses at home (leash, treats, etc) for the sake of consistency for the pet and pet parent.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.

I am at my apartment all other times of the day and will be easily available to care for pets. I live in an apartment currently but can easily crate your animals when leaving for class. I live in a pet friendly community with no others pets living in my apartment and can easily walk your pet around my community or take them to the courtyard in my apartment for a quick potty break. There is also an animal bathing room in my apartment complex so I am able to bathe your animals if needed.

“Our first time boarding with Shelby was a great experience! She was flexible, communicative, and followed all care instructions for our dog Loki. Will definitely be calling her up in the future.”

“Súper bien mi Nalita (husky) es una perrita muy nerviosa, era su primera vez en un on boarding y casi no confía en nadie; Onayda se ganó su confianza y ahora son muy buenas amigas. Definitivamente volvería a confiar a mi pequeña con ella ❤️”

“Lindsay is amazing! I took a trip abroad and left my fur babies in her care while I was away and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. Lindsay is very responsive and provided pictures and updates without me ever having to ask. I highly recommend her for your boarding needs. I will most definitely be sending my babies back to her for future trips.”

“Yukia was awesome! My dog left her house very happy. She took him on walks and he got to play with other dogs. She also worked with me and added an extra day when I realized I messed up the schedule. I highly recommend Yukia.”

“Lovely couple with a baby and a toddler. Buffy had to warm up to Parker, their German Shepherd but I hear it went well. Tyler and wife watched Buffy on a holiday, July 4th. They were very gracious when I requested an itinerary change. I felt like they were really attuned to Buff-dog. Will definitely ask again for their assistance.Highly recommend.”

“James was fantastic with Lenny. We did a meet and greet so Lenny could get accustomed to the house. James has an amazing backyard and played lots of fetch with Lenny. We received lots of photos and updates, and Lenny came home happy and tired (and a little sad about having to leave James’ house). We absolutely would book with James again!”

“Jasmine was very accommodating so that we could meet before the booking, even though it was a bit of a last-minute for a holiday weekend. Cucumber immediately became comfortable with Jasmine and her home. Jasmine send us a bunch of pics of our baby and made us feel very comfortable leaving Cucumber for longer than she's ever been away before. I absolutely would recommend Jasmine!”
