I volunteered at Animal Welfare League of Queen Anne's County for several years starting in High School. I've worked closely with large animals with behavioral problems, so I'm down the handle whatever quirks your pet has. I am currently getting my master's degree in Annapolis. About: Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! My older dog recently passed in March. He had a pericardial effusion and diagnosed anxiety. My other pup is about to turn 2 in July. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog whether they are in my home or I am dropping in to spend time / walk your dog. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give medications, follow training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with other people or dogs, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine! I work fully remote and am able to support drop ins, walks and daycare. I walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in our home, they need to be friendly with other dogs and potentially able to be closed into a room for a period of time if I have a meeting. I’d make sure to communicate this information when you are booking. For walks / being in your home, I ask for honesty in how you want your dog to be cared for. Ideally I’d prefer they are friendly so that I can bring my dog for walks too but understand that’s not always the case.

I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.

“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”
