“Shuling was outstanding with her loving care for our 4 year old Venus. She followed our feeding instructions and provided pictures and/or videos daily. The pics showed how happy Venus had adjusted in her home with her dog Bear and other dogs at times. Shuling could be a photographer because she took the best pics. I am so thankful for the loving care Shuling provided for our pup. This was the longest we left Venus and she was well taken care of. I believe Venus is missing her new friend Bear because when I mention his name she gives a positive response. We will definitely use Shuling in the future. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats, birds, lizards, hermit crabs, fish, and rabbits. Taking care of pets has always come naturally to me. Since I was around 10 years old, I’ve helped walk my neighbors’ dogs and puppies, as well as pet sit their dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. About: I've owned pets my whole life. My gentle composure and empathic nature make them feel loved and safe with me. I fostered a puppy from the Caribbean that nobody else wants to deal with. Within a month, she let me pet her and take her on walks. I train dogs with care and lots of pets! I am a freelancer and work from home. Dogs that stay at my house can go in and out and be protected by a fenced-in yard. I will ask about diet, routines, and special needs for your pets. I will come to your house for free for a meet and greet and see if we connect with your pet.
About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. Stephanie alleviated that nervousness within the first 2 hours by sending a photo of Buddy settled in on the couch with her kids. “WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”
About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. I provide daily photos throughout your pets daily routine and tons of love I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of enough time to care for your fur baby. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. There is plenty of room for playtime and resting. Pets are welcome on all furniture
