About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was in high school. I have friends and neighbors that rely on me to take care of their pets. I've also taken care of animals other then cats and dogs. I've done rabbits and Guinea pigs. I feed, give baths, give medications and walks. I can currently do this full time. If you ask me to do a 24 hour stay. I am available for that as well. I just need to know at least 4 days ahead of time. My SO travels for work. And I would need to fit my dog into that schedule. Just know I will have other pets to take care while staying at your home. And will not be there 24/7. I will be staying at your house on my breaks and overnight if requested. We do not have a fenced in backyard. But we do take him on several walks a day. Regardless of the weather. He is unbothered by it.

I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Our girls have always been watched at home and they’re a big pair of ladies to accommodate, so we were a bit apprehensive. At our meet and greet Heather was fantastic. Her experience shined through; she was easygoing and patiently answered all of our questions. We decided to have a “dress rehearsal” overnight and it was a hit! The girls had a great time, we received loads of pictures and updates and when I arrived for pickup our girls were both relaxing in the den. If our girls were at ease then we’re at ease. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
