“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My family has always had pets, and I’m a natural pet lover. About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me! My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too. I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

So I love having visitors to keep me company and play with while working from home :) Work from home, I'm free to walk the dogs first thing the the morning, around noon and anytime in the evening and spend the whole day with them if needed :) Quiet home, no children, no smoking, no other dogs or cats - just fish n two birds, half way fenced Yard, but very safe. About: I’ve had animals in my life ever since I was a kid! From dogs, cats, goats, rabbits etc! I have always been the “stay at home mom” when it comes to my babies and I enjoy every minute! I love animals so much! I have taken care of a lot of other people’s animals before and I always enjoy the time spent with there fur babies! I always do my best to do whatever the care taker wants for there pets! I’m free all summer and this will be my full time job! About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My family has always had pets, and I’m a natural pet lover. About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me! My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too. I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead!
