When he showed complications after surgery she took him once again to get him help. Even the vet was impressed with how well he was being cared for. Lauren was literally a life savor. I was very stressed not being able to be there with my dog throughout all of this but was greatly comforted by the fact that I knew he was in capable and caring hands.”
“BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

I love going on long walks with dogs who need it, playing fetch, and giving lots of scritches and love! No dog is too small or too big for me. Happy to accommodate anything your pet needs! I’m currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I work in VA and living MD so I’m really all over the map. I would prefer any time after 3 but can also come in the mornings with enough heads up. I do not have a fenced in back yard but do have a nice trail to walk on and get some energy out. I also have a lead in the backyard to keep the dogs safe and not escape if they would like to roam freely. My coonhound has been just fine with the set up! I also have a crate if preferred. About: I get along with animals pretty naturally. I do a lot of sitting for family and friends when they go on vacation. Giving love and care to your fur baby takes a lot of time and the DMV has a lot of traffic. It takes a village! I can pop in or stay over to make sure all physical and emotional needs are taken care of. I am a fitness instructor. My schedule changes and is flexible as long as I am given notice and clear instructions. I do not work full time. I do not have a fenced in yard, but can keep a crate. It is a townhouse so limited space, but plenty of parks and areas to walk your fur baby.

About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.

I only board 1 pup at a time with the exception of multiple pups from the same family that require boarding. My pup Bella is mild mannered, and very chill. I have a fenced in yard that is locked and accessible from the glass door. In my home, there will be a dedicated crate if needed, pups are free to roam around on the main level where all the action is!

About: I have cared for a variety of breeds with different temperaments, personalities and levels of care needs. I have experience in training and discipline with a number of different tools, so I am comfortable in most situations including walking dogs with reactive or pulling tendencies. I enjoy taking dogs on pack walks in the woods like at Acosta Regional Park. I am a full time pet care provider. He ended up needing surgery and when the vet offered the option of letting him go home or keeping him at the vet as he recovered Lauren let us know that she was comfortable and capable of taking care of him afterwards (saving me thousands of dollars). When he showed complications after surgery she took him once again to get him help. Even the vet was impressed with how well he was being cared for. Lauren was literally a life savor. I was very stressed not being able to be there with my dog throughout all of this but was greatly comforted by the fact that I knew he was in capable and caring hands.”
“BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

She understood his body language, gave him the space he needed to adjust, and helped him build confidence at his own pace. I especially appreciated how she handled introductions with her family and pets, always putting Rockie's comfort and safety first. She kept me informed about everything—from his eating and potty habits to his progress settling in, making new friends, and even his funny moments watching TV! She also went above and beyond by cleaning him up after an accident without hesitation. By the end of his stay, Rockie had gone from being nervous to relaxing on the couch, enjoying the yard, snuggling with the family, and even warming up to everyone in the house. Seeing that progress meant so much to me. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Lashelle treated Rockie like one of her own, and I knew he was loved and cared for every step of the way. “Kimberly took care of our two pups for a full week, and we were really satisfied with her services. Kimberly welcomed me to her home to see where the dogs would be staying and see her outdoor space. She has a lovely, big outdoor area for the dogs to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Our dogs had a bedroom with a gate to themselves, separate from any of the other dogs staying, with a bed, blankets, and even a TV! The pups split their time between their room and the back yard. Kimberly sent us lots of photos and videos each day we were away, and was super responsive in all communication.
