“Simon had a great day with Lonnie and the other dogs. He was so tired from playing, he didn't even hop on the couch with us that night. Lonnie was quick to reply, sent pictures and you can really tell he just loves dogs like his own. He also sat with Simon in a quiet space so S could eat his dinner. He has a tendency to not eat when he's busy busy with other doggies, so we really appreciated that. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.

About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. About: I’ve always helped out neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family friends with their pets. My simple pleasure is taking dogs on long walks and being outside. I’m currently working part time so I’ll be free for walks and playing with your animals very often. I’m easy to schedule if you need mornings, afternoons, or both! I take dogs on long long walks (at least a mile) I can of course do less if your dog isn’t up to the challenge. I love to play after a walk as well.

About: I have had dogs for the past 30 years. I am an approved foster home for a pug rescue. I have rescued several dogs! The last two years, I have been a dog walker! The dog I recently rescued was a client I walked whose mom was disabled. She needed more care than her mom could give her. We bonded from the first walk, and I knew I could be her forever home! I have a blind/deaf pug as well. I do a lot of housesitting and dogsitting it’s always a joy! My home is on an acre. I have my own business out of my home, and so I am home all day and your pet will not be left alone! I am home all day running my health coach business. Pet care will keep me busy and your animal happy..and the resident dogs will love having playmates! I do have a portion of my yard fenced in so the dogs have lots of room to run and play and be dogs. Dogs are rarely crated unless they are used to that and the owner request that they have time in their crate. I am home the majority of the time. I work from home on a part-time basis so I am with the dogs the majority of the time. When the dogs come to my home, it is like they are on their own little vacation. They have a good time playing with the other dogs and go home tired.
