“Gisel and her family took great care of my girl Kola. Kola had a case of severely itchy paws pop up the day before we were set to leave town. I was able to get some meds from the vet before we left. I let Gisel know what was going on with Kola, as she was licking and chewing her paws and they were very red. I kept socks on her paws and gave her Benadryl in between the meds from the vet. Gisel also kept this up for the four days Kola stayed with her family. I was so thankful and appreciative of the extra care Gisel and her family gave Kola. Kola’s itchy paws popped up so last minute and Gisel assured me she would take great care of her and she did just that! I would definitely use Gisel again for Kola!”

About: I have lots of compassion when it comes to animals, and I have years of experience working for cat/dog rescues as well as pet transports, I currently have a four day weekend at my current job and have way too much free time! About: I grew up on a farm in Eastern Washington, around many different animals. My whole childhood was waking up early, to feed and care for all the animals. I have fostered 18 dogs until they found furever homes. I have experience in dealing with special needs animals to include, horses, cats, dogs, cows, chickens and goats. I have lots of experience in dealing with with dogs who have a more aggressive personality as I have fostered many and they needed time to adjust to new environments. I currently have two dogs and a cat. I would love to spend time and care for other animals while you’re away!! With being a stay at home parent I have a pretty flexible schedule. I go to the gym mon-fri 9-11 but am free before and after. My 3 year old goes to daycare Tuesday and Thursday. I can accommodate for her to go elsewhere if you prefer to not have a child in the home I completely understand it! If not, she is very respectful and kind to animals. I will follow whatever instructions are provided to me. I understand wanting your pets taken care of exactly how you want them to be and what makes the pets most comfortable. I am currently not accepting for pets to be in my home as I have an elderly dog who doesn’t do well with that set up.

Her love for animals of all kinds and sizes is obvious and we are so grateful to have found a place like Safe Hayven Fields. The property is a perfect getaway with a large fenced in yard for running and playing, and the pool for pups that like to swim. Brittany is such a great caretaker, sending us daily photos and updates, even going above and beyond to replace Luna's bed when another pup made a hole in hers!
