About: I have had pets since a child (duck, rabbit, dogs, cats, iguanas) and just love them. I let dogs take their time when exploring and I don’t rush them unless I see that they have found a Scooby snack. Most dogs prefer to sit in my lap even when in the presence of their owner. They love me and I love them even the sassiest of them. I work from home which allows me to be available 24 hours a day. If your pet is a foodie, they will love it here (salmon bites, duck necks, chicken feet, ice cream, pup cups and frozen fruit on hot days). I will send an update the first evening and the morning after so you are certain that they have settled in. Thereafter I will send a picture or video daily but you are welcomed to check in at any time. My assistant Imani (my mom who lives with and assists with sitting), also enjoys loving on and helping with your babies. She may help with check in/ check out and walks. **I now have a cat and cannot accept dogs that aren’t cat friendly. I also cannot accept unfixed dogs and dogs that aren’t housebroken. I walk 3-5 miles in the morning and another in the evenings (less depending on the weather). I would love to take your baby along. I have a friendly dog. I use baby gates and can also crate your dog (you must bring the crate with you). They would sleep in my bedroom on the dog beds and have free range of the house (except the kitchen which has a gate up).

One of my favorite things to do in college was to walk the dogs at the humane society and we even had an event to walk dogs with other people in greek life on campus! “I waited to submit a review until I was sure this couple would be my regular dog sitters. After about 4 or 5 stays I can confidently say my dog LOVES them. They are the sweetest people and they’re so accommodating. Morty has trouble being boarded in dog kennels. He gets stressed out, gets attacked often (due to his size), and always comes back to us with scratches and bruises. He has NEVER been taken care of as well as he has with Virginia and Steven. They kept us informed of everything along the way and always sent photos of his stay. Morty will not be staying with anyone else during our 3 years in Baltimore. I can not recommend them enough!! 💕💕”

“This was my dog Miles’ first stay with Jim and Mary, and it was wonderful! They looked after him like he was their own, and I’ve never seen our dog so at ease with a boarding stay. He came home relaxed and refreshed. I’m pretty sure he didn’t want to leave. Jim and Mary were very accommodating and made everything easy and stress free. They sent lots of pictures of Miles each day, which I always looked forward to! Our experience with Jim and Mary was fantastic and I look forward to having Miles stay with them again in the future!”
“Simply put, Theresa is the best caregiver for our dog we’ve ever met. We’ve taken multiple trips where Lucy was unable to accompany us and she’s always stayed with Theresa, instantly making Lucy part of her family. Theresa provides daily updates, photos and has provided an outstanding “secondary” home for our pet. Lucy is always comfortable, well taken care of and loved as if she was theirs in all aspects. “Ruth and her family did such a wonderful job caring for our dog, Pee Wee. Her communication was excellent. She sent many photos at different times throughout the day. Ruth took Pee Wee on the best walks and always a different route to give him a change of scenery. Her family played with Pee Wee throughout the day, and kept him covered up sweetly at night.”
