“My frenchie had the BEST time with Lindsay and her puppy!!!! Lindsay sent me pics daily, and whenever I asked for one. My baby literally had so much fun at her house, I think he sulked for a few days after ? Lindsay will be our go to for boarding in the future.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and it was absolutely wonderful! We have an older dog and she is both blind and deaf and Katelyn took such good care of her. She welcomed her into her home and treated her as if she were her own. Her communication was great. We received pictures/videos/updates several times a day. We will definitely use Katelyn again and highly recommend her!”

“Absolutely fantastic. Poppy had the best time and Michelle sent us daily updates. Would not hesitate to book for next time and fully recommend Michelle for your pup-care! Thanks Michelle 😊”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.
“Leia was living her best life like she was at a pet resort. Marliez treated Leia like her own with great care and attention, making her feel right at home. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind! I’d definitely rebook with Marliez. Leia has 3 new friends and thinks she’s the boss of cats now!!”

“Our first visit was so smooth. My dog seemed immediately comfortable with Katie. She sent pictures through the weekend and was flexible with pickup times. We are already looking to rebook her for next month. Thanks Katie?”
“As a first time user of Rover and first time search for a cat sitter, Elena definitely set the standard. From the first contact, Elena was incredibly responsive, very kind, and extremely welcoming of my babies. Elena and her children took such good care of my babies, as they allowed them space to adjust while being open to their affection as they warmed up. I had peace of mind that my babies were in good hands as she invited them into her home with open arms. When I picked Pocket and Rocket up, they were so soft from freshly brushed hair and calmer to get back into the car. I would absolutely recommend Elena to take care of your cats, as they will get plenty of cuddles, play time, and freedom to explore their new space. Thank you, Elena and kids!!”

“Celena was great with our 7 month old pup, Ace! He had so much fun at her house. She sent us many pictures and videos several times a day and for all of them he was playing and have the best time with her dog and her family. We would definitely book Celena again!”

“Becca was amazing!! She was able to take care of our beagle on last minute notice. She communicated with me multiple times a day and sent updates and pictures. Our dog was very happy and comfortable with her and I will have her as my go-to sitter from now on ☺️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!”

“Jasmine was able to fit us in last minute. She was great with our golden retriever. We received updates and our pup was calm and happy when we picked her up. Will use her services again!”

“What an amazing experience for my dogs! From the moment I first spoke to Theresa to the moment we picked our dogs up, I knew this was an exceptional experience. Theresa goes above and beyond to make your pet feel comfortable while they are away from home. She customized their feeding, treats, and even their lounge time. It’s so hard to know if someone will love your pet like you do, and no question Theresa does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter while they are away!”

“Danielle has done a wonderful job of caring for my dog, Hazel. She was very flexible with my schedule changing last minute, and that made things much easier for me. And the most important part - my very anxious dog came back to me happy and relaxed, not at all stressed from her time away. I'd definitely recommend Danielle and will book with her again.”

“Shelby and her husband Brad are fantastic dog sitters! Ollie was very well cared for, and we received plenty of photos and updates throughout his stay. He had a great time playing with their sweet pup, and they even gave him a bath (no easy feat!), so he came home both happy, exhausted, and clean!”

About: I’ve been dog walking and sitting for neighbors since I was 12 years old. I’ve dog sat multiple types of dogs. I’ve done dog walking, check-in & potty break visits, and I’ve stayed at a clients home for long periods of time (5+ days) to be with their pups. I’ve also been tasked with administering insulin shots to dogs before. And I have a lot of experience with dogs that have anxiety, whether with new people, thunderstorms, or anything else, as I have one myself and a long remaining client of mine does as well. I’ve always loved dogs, having grown up having 2 smaller dogs myself. I am hoping to do pet sitting as a new permanent business, so I will have nothing but time to look after your pets! I will schedule out days and time periods based on client necessity and to provide the optimal care for your pets. Because I have two dogs myself, one of which has severe people and other animal anxiety, which for the safety of your pets and mine means I am unable to bring any pets into my home as of current. However, I’ve stayed at the homes of clients before to be with their pups while they’re away. I feed them every morning and night or make sure the food bowl is full depending on how the client feeds their dogs. I give them any medicine or joint tablets that they need to be well. I let them out multiple times a day whenever they need it. And I try to play with and pet them as much as I can while I’m there so they don’t miss their humans too much. I will even take them on a walk if allowed.

“Cristina is an excellent pet sitter! Our sweet kitty is in end stage cancer and Cristina took such great care of her, ensuring she got her shot and monitored her food/water intake to assure us that all was well while we were away. I would definitely hire Cristina again!”

About: Hello Pet Owners! I’ve previously worked at NYC's main animal shelter as an adoption counselor and foster parent for a long time, and feel comfortable working with animals with anxiety, leash reactivity, allergies, medications, or that require other special care, and always work them with the utmost patience. Though a lot of my clients tend towards the smaller side, I love our bigger buddies, too! My schedule is completely self-made, so I often have last minute availability and a lot of flexibility when it comes to scheduling! About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the years I’ve owned and cared for many different breeds and personalities, including Saint Bernards, Great Danes, and Coonhounds, which gave me plenty of experience handling large and giant-breed dogs. I’ve also shared my home with multiple cats over the years—many of them seniors—so I understand the patience, routine, and gentle care older pets often need. I’ve spent years fostering animals as well, frequently working with senior pets and dogs that may be anxious or slow to trust new people. I pride myself on being patient and letting animals warm up to me at their own pace so they can feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. My home currently includes an Alaskan Klee Kai and a Border Collie mix, so daily life already revolves around exercise, enrichment, and making sure dogs stay happy and engaged. When I travel, my trips are often pet-focused—I’ve driven cross-country multiple times with my dogs to explore new trails, parks, and adventures together. For walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, I always aim to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel secure in their own home. As a larger and experienced handler, I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs on leash and adapting to different energy levels—whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers relaxed companionship and a calm presence. I’m also experienced in administering most medications and providing attentive care for senior pets who may need a little extra support. I have a very flexible work schedule, and can accommodate most dogs needs! As far as overnight sitting, I will be there from 8 pm until 8 am and will also be coming by a few times a day. Puppies and youngsters (or whoever needs it!) can be accommodated with more drop ins just let me know! If you require 24/7 care this can be arranged as well just let me know prior to booking! Your dog’s comfort and routine are my top priorities. I provide focused attention, interactive play, and companionship tailored to your pup’s personality — from calm evenings at home to energetic walks or adventures at parks and trails. I’m experienced with all sizes and breeds, so whether your dog is a tiny pup or a gentle giant, they’ll receive care that’s attentive, confident, and consistent. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, happy, and fully engaged throughout their stay

This pairs perfectly with animal care and house care because I can come and go as frequently as needed. Due to my open schedule I can be available for any needs your pets may have. About: Animals have always been the center of my life, and caring for them is so much more than a job to me — it’s truly my passion. I currently have four dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand firsthand the love, attention, patience, and responsibility that go into providing excellent pet care every single day. My experience with animals goes far beyond personal pet ownership. I worked at a dog rescue for three years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and special needs. During that time, I also fostered 52 dogs, helping them transition into safe, loving homes. That experience taught me how to build trust with nervous pets, handle different personalities, and provide compassionate, individualized care. In addition, I have been working as a veterinary technician for the past two years, which has given me strong knowledge of animal health, behavior, safety, and overall well-being. I’m comfortable recognizing signs of stress or illness, administering attentive care, and making sure pets feel safe and supported. What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and dedication I bring to every animal I meet. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I have the experience and heart to provide exceptional care. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily and weekly life. Each day, I set aside dedicated time for feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship to ensure every pet receives consistent attention and care. Every pet receives the love, care, and attention they need to thrive, making their time with me a happy and fulfilling experience. When caring for pets, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities. In my home, I ensure a secure and pet-friendly space by removing hazards, providing comfortable bedding, and maintaining a clean environment. I follow the owner's instructions meticulously, maintaining their feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any specific care requirements. I build trust by being patient, gentle, and attentive, allowing pets to adjust at their own pace. Regular playtime, cuddles, and positive reinforcement help create a bond and alleviate any anxiety they may feel. In a client's home, I respect their space and maintain their pet's routine as closely as possible. I follow their instructions regarding feeding, walking, medication, and playtime. I ensure the home is secure, checking that doors and windows are properly closed and that there are no potential hazards. I communicate regularly with the owner, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their pet is in good hands. My goal is to provide a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable environment, whether in my home or theirs, so pets feel secure and loved in their owner's absence.

About: As a CPDT-KA certified trainer, I offer dog walking services that go beyond basic exercise. Each walk incorporates training and enrichment tailored to your dog’s unique needs. My expertise is ideal for dogs who are fearful, nervous, hyper, or reactive—especially those other walkers may find challenging. A training walk is a perfect way to advance your dog’s progress when your schedule is too packed for regular training sessions. Please note: My walking services are not suitable for aggressive dogs. If you’re dealing with aggression, please contact me directly or explore my specialized training services. I offer training walk services Monday through Friday, with both daytime and evening availability. For the best results, I recommend scheduling two sessions per week, such as Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday. I exclusively use positive reinforcement techniques to care for and train dogs, whether during training walks or in your home. My focus is on creating a safe, encouraging environment that builds trust and confidence in your dog. Each session is tailored to meet your dog’s unique needs while reinforcing good behaviors in a kind and effective way. With this approach, I ensure your dog feels supported and thrives in their routine.

“My frenchie had the BEST time with Lindsay and her puppy!!!! Lindsay sent me pics daily, and whenever I asked for one. My baby literally had so much fun at her house, I think he sulked for a few days after ? Lindsay will be our go to for boarding in the future.”

“Carlie took such wonderful care of our 11 year old Golden. She and her children spoiled him with all kinds of love and attention. I felt very comfortable leaving him while we were on a week long vacation.”

“They took great care of our dog! I appreciated the updates, and he enjoyed playing with their dogs during the week. Thanks for taking great care of our Max!”

“April was the BEST! She was super accommodating and sweet with Yani. Sent pictures and regular updates. She was thorough with Yani’s care and super responsive. Her sweet fur baby, Penelope and Yani got along so well making the experience more of a play date than boarding. Definitely reaching out when we have our next trip and I would highly recommend!”

“Fantastic - Amazing - Wonderful! Yukia was a great communicator from the start. We talked before we brought our rascal over. We even did a meet and greet just to make sure he would take to her - and he sure did! During our trip she sent daily photos and updates, and our kids could not wait to get them every day. I could tell when I went to pick him up that he was very happy to be with her. For a quick moment he could not decide if he wanted to stay with her or come back home. It was his first time with someone else and she obviously took great care of him. There is no doubt that we have found our pet sitter for good!”
