“Michelle was caring and really helpful on making our dogs feel at ease at her home. Sent us a bunch of pictures everyday and kept us informed on how the dogs were doing. I would definitely recomend her.”
“Could not have asked for a better experience. Our pup Margarita loved her stay and can't wait to come back! Lindsay is very responsive and sends lots of pictures. So happy to have found a sitter I can feel so comfortable leaving in her care. Will definitely be booking again!”

“The test was passed. Jax lets us know if he wants to be somewhere. When we pulled up to Shulys again, he was so excited to go play! One short weekend and one long weekend in the books! So glad to have Shuly to take care of Jax while we are away!”
“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“Wow, I can't say enough about how well Katelyn cared for and accommodated our dog Oscar. He was nervous at first but quickly adapted and thrived - thank you Soooo Much, 6 stars out of 5! Definitely a keeper!!”

“Vy was terrific! She responded quickly and took our dogs for boarding on almost no notice and understood our dogs’ needs well. She also has fenced in backyard for the dogs to play! Very grateful for her and would happily leave the dogs with her again”

“What a delightful time Ginger had, with this lovely family. Carlie was attentive, flexible, and like a second home while I was away. I will definitely be returning.”

About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. I provide daily photos throughout your pets daily routine and tons of love I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of enough time to care for your fur baby. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. “Elena is confident, professional, and I felt secure while my dog was under her care. She asked the necessary prescreening questions to ensure it was a good fit- which I appreciated. There were plenty of long walks, beach trips, photo updates, and play time with Elena & family. Would highly recommend and will be looking to rebook in the future. Thank you Elena!”

“Candice was amazing with my dog, Nagi. This was the first trip my family and I had taken since getting her, so leaving her with someone new made us a little nervous at first. We chose Candice based on her profile and reviews, and she absolutely did not disappoint. My family and I were able to fully enjoy our spring break trip knowing our pup was in excellent hands. Candice provided lots of updates with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to Nagi while we were away. Nagi decided she didn’t want to use the stairs for the first few days of her stay, but Candice was incredibly patient and treated her like one of her own pups the entire time. She even carried Nagi up and down the stairs until she felt comfortable enough to use them like she normally does. Halfway through Nagi’s 1 week stay, she started having an upset tummy. Candice went above and beyond by picking up medicine for her, feeding her boiled chicken and rice, and taking care of multiple accidents when Nagi couldn’t make it outside in time. Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. If we ever need a sitter again, I would absolutely book with Candice again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog sitter.”

About: I will love and care for your pet as if it were my very own Grand-puppy. Like my Charlie. Charlie is my daughters dog who reminded me that I loved dogs. I am looking forward to building my business in a career that I love so I can retire from my current job but still have work I look forward to doing. I will treat your pet as part of my family. I have a Grand-puppy named Charlie who came into my life and reminded me I loved dogs.
“Kevin was amazing! He was super responsive, caring and even sent me photos of my lab, Moon, every morning either playing or on a walk with him. When I picked her up, I knew she had been taken care of. I Will definitely use him again in the future!”

“Janice and Stalio took amazing care of our dog Charlie! Couldn’t be happier with the experience and they were exceptionally understanding when our return flight was cancelled due to the winter storm and we were delayed coming home. Would highly recommend.”

“Goose had a wonderful stay with Jeren and I am so grateful for the clear communication and attention to her needs. She clearly knows a lot about dogs and provided excellent care.”

“My Blue came home happy! Marliez was great, she sent tons of pictures and gave me reassurance my fur baby was having a good stay. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Very happy with the care of our baby 😁 Jay is really picky on who he takes medications from, and Jasimine was the exception. He was comfortable enough to trust her from the beginning (first time in 3 years since he has been comfortable with anyone right off the back!) Very pleased and happy with the care he received.”

“Katie was amazing with my dog! She was flexible on drop off and pickup. She also sent many pictures to jeep us updated. She treated her like one of her own pups. My dog did not want to leave!”

“Moose had the best weekend with Shelby and her pup! It’s always nerve wracking when you leave your pet for the weekend but Shelby made us feel so comfortable by sending photos and treating Moose like her own. Highly recommend her to watch your fur baby!”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Queenstown home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
