About: I’ve cared for cats since I was a kid, from my own family cats to pets belonging to neighbors, friends, and regular pet-sitting clients. Growing up around animals taught me early that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and way of communicating. No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. We know first hand how hard it is to find reliable help to look after our animals and the farm when we need to leave for anything more than a long day. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. We care deeply about their well being, nurse them like children when they are sick and spend a great deal of time and effort keeping them healthy and happy. We are regulars with our local vet and feed mill and know the area well. Hard work and long days are par for the course for us. Our common sense is well polished and we pay great attention to detail and feel quality communication is key to any relationship. We have been renovating a small farm house for many years, a work in progress as they say. We like to do business in the local community and are now in a position to offer our experience to the pet owners in our area. We are professional without being stuffy and want all animals to enjoy a high quality of life. As a full time photographer, I work in my studio most days and sometimes weekends too. Pets are either with me in the studio, or in the house with us at night. Your dogs join me in the studio on days I am working there, and they'll have one feline companion. About: While I may not have much professional experience I have owned a variety of pets my entire life from dogs and cats to bunnies and squirrels! I even interned at a veterinary office. “Had another great dog sitting experience with Jill and Chad… our Plott Hound mix, Luna, is always happy when we go on vacation because she gets to go have fun too, lol. 😂 Jill and Chad are quick to respond and always keep us abreast of anything we need to know regarding Luna’s stay and they send us photos and updates so we can see what she’s up to. I wish we lived a little closer but they are worth traveling a bit farther for. Overall a great experience and they are our go-to dog sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Chris provided a wonderful home environment for my anxious pup and checked in frequently with updates and pics. Chris is gentle, calm and laid back, which worked well with my dog. When there were difficulties, such as getting my dog to sleep in his crate the first night, Chris was flexible and adaptable, which I greatly appreciated. I was able to enjoy my vacation with no worries. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in Chris’ capable hands and would call on him again to pet sit.”
