About: I have been passionate about dogs ever since I was a child but because experienced working with dogs and cats (and some bunnies) while working for the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. I was a veterinarian assistant for one year and then became an adoptions Manager for three years. This was the most fulfilling experience of my adult life, being able to help animals and the community daily. I recently lost my closest companion, Xander, about a month ago. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. Through him I gained even more experience with aging dogs, medical care and many behavioral changes as he aged. While using positive reinforcement training we navigated 6 military moves, life adaptions to aging and the introduction of two kittens. I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. I am currently unemployed and have most days free as well as can stay over night or board animals in my home. I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with any clients schedule as needed. I currently only have two cats in my home, so I’m able to provide boarding for cat friendly animals. I have a fenced in back yard and am usually not gone from the house for more than four hours. I have a calm and friendly personality that animals gravitate to. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. My kids are 17 & 18 so they drive themselves around. I can help on weekends, overnights, weekdays, nearly any time, as well as on short notice. I would offer my own home as well but I have a cat and a dog so sometimes the guest pets don't get along with other animals. In your home I can sit with them and talk to them if they're a lazy pet, or take your pup for a walk or running if they're high energy. I could also take him or her for car rides to get a pup cup at Starbucks or to my large fenced in backyard to run around. I live off Sunshine Way in Westminster near the Wal-mart.
About: I've been around animals my whole life. From the littlest of fish, to the largest of cows and other farm animals! I have 3 dogs of my own, two Colorado mountain dogs and a medium pittie mix. I also have 4 geckoes (2 leopards, a giant Madagascar day gecko, and my newest boy, a harlequin crested gecko!). I've dog-sat little dogs, big dogs, disabled and elderly dogs, as well as young pups and households with multiple animals! I will give you the best care, whether it be for your pets, home, or more! Right now I work part-time at a bakery on Sundays, and I am also a full-time college student! Thankfully, my schedule is very flexible and my attention will solely be on your furry friends. I always make sure to keep my client's homes clean and organized, and pay special attention to any extra tasks I'm giving, such as watering plants (I have dozens of plant babies!), changing the temperature, emptying dehumidifiers, and retrieving packages. Anything you need, I will do to the best of my abilities! I like to update my clients daily on their pets to ease their mind.
About: [Please note: I am back in Maryland for this season.] I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, whether in my own house or my neighbors’. I’ve become used to both the chaos and peacefulness of pet caretaking, and I’m always ready to learn something new. In terms of dogs, most of my experience has been with small to medium or slightly large dogs, but I’ve spent time with all types and am excited about new experiences. I’ve walked dogs and pet-sat for neighbors as the majority of my paid experience, and I’m looking to expand outside of my neighborhood. As someone who goes to college in another state, I am often in Maryland during the summers and winters, where I have extra love to give to pets (there aren’t many on campus)! While back home for summer or winter vacation, I have a very flexible schedule and love to go walking, which is why dog walking and pet sitting suits me perfectly. My other job is during the school year, so it doesn’t interfere with my summer/winter schedules. That means that I am available most days of the week, and I will try to be as accommodating as possible for my clients. As someone who’s grown up with pets, I regularly help with feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up their litter box or taking them to the bathroom, administering medicine when necessary, along with any other additional care that they need. While working with clients, I write down any specific instructions they have for me and build a consistent routine, especially if I am pet sitting. I understand that different animals have different schedules and needs, so flexibility and safety is my priority.
About: I have always had a pet growing up and enjoying taken care of my two dogs. They are my other “kids” :) I will be able to play ball with them. Take for walks. They will be loved and taken care of while you go to work or even on vacation. It’s always nice to know your pet is taken care of and you have no need stress . I am stay at home mama so I have the time during morning after 9 is best. I am open to afternoon and evenings as well. I have a big yard out back and two dogs of my own to keep your fur baby company. They are very friendly and good with other dogs. I would be taken for walks. Go dog parks around and get plenty of love and exercise.

I was able to request Amber’s help at 3:00 AM while getting ready for a long day and a few hours later Amber had confirmed she could help out. She asked intelligent questions, was prompt, followed directions on home security entrance perfectly, took lots of pictures and spent time walking and entertaining our fur-babies. Heather D graciously shared photos of Tucker having the time of his life. Tucker is a friendly dog and gets along with all animals he encounters so we were thrilled he’d have playmates with our visiting dogs. Fantastic photo moments of him running and playing with other dogs and some of the quieter moments like sitting on the couch watching TV with Heather D’s family. Her property was safe and clean and truly ideal for what she provides for boarding. I’d highly recommend Heather D and Tucker looks forward to spending time there again! 5 stars :)”

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
