“Kelly is a complete life-saver. My family has had a vacation planned for almost a year. The day before we left, I reached out to the dog sitter (NOT KELLY) and was ghosted. She never responded or replied. At 9pm, the night before my vacation, with a departure time of 8am, I was in a panic. Kelly was very quick to respond, she answered all my questions and even worked with me to find a way to get our pup to her since we were leaving too early to drop them off. While our dog was there, Kelly sent constant updates and photos. Her and her husband truly enjoyed watching my dog and it made me so comfortable knowing she was in good hands. She has a large fence in backyard which was perfect for my dog, and her dog River is an absolute sweetheart! My dog was EXHAUSTED for days after because she had so much fun at Kelly's. Now I live on an 9 acre farm in Waldorf with rabbits, 2 dogs and chickens. I have experience with all ages of dogs. I used to breed yorkies and I have had many senior dogs. I am home full time and I very rarely leave the house. I live on an 9 acre farm so your pup will have so much room to run! I can keep them leashed if you prefer and I will love to walk them! I have a 9 year old toy poodle and a 5 year old English Springer Spaniel. Both are very friendly, calm dogs that are very socialized. I also have a beautiful black cat that is mostly outdoors.
About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.
About: I have a 11 year old yorkie/havenese named daisy and she has been in our care since she was 1 y/o. she loves meeting new friend and will love the company of your dog! Ramon has also been in care of plenty of his family dogs as well! there was always no less than 4 dogs in the house. We love dogs so much and there will be an abundance of love to go around with my family. We can't wait to play with our new furry friends. My boyfriend and i have plenty of time through out the week together to care for your beloved pets! we are transitioning in between jobs and so we have plenty of time on our hands to care for your furry friends! We take Daisy out at least 2 to 4 times a day with feeding twice a day. She is a bit older now so she doesn't need as much time but we do still try to take her out to experience the worlds as much as she can.

She is incredibly flexible, has come to walk my dogs at various hours of the day (late evenings sometimes too, which has been great!), and has been available on short notice as well. I have 3 dogs, of which, two have health issues. One has had recent ortho surgery and requires a lot of assistance/medication. The other has heart/blood pressure issues and requires medication/supervision as well. The third does not have health issues, but has behavioral issues and is very stand offish. Despite this, Linda has not only taken great care of them, but the dogs love her! She has also brought in my trash cans, my mail, and picks up dirty dog food bowls to soak in the sink while I am away. She always keeps me updated with detailed messages and photos. She is gentle and great with the animals. I trust her 100% and that is saying a lot as I am VERY particular when it comes to my babies!”
About: I LOVE dogs. I have always loves dogs and dogs have always loved me (not trying to toot my horn, lol). I have older kids in the house ages 14-19 who love dogs as much as I do. There will be no lack of attention given to your fur baby. I do work during the week. About: I have taken care of my dog since he was a puppy and learned the importance and joy of taking care of an animal I would love the opportunity to do the same for your animal. I’m currently looking for work so my schedule is pretty much open I have ample amount of time to shift my schedule to whatever works best for you In a clients home I would take care of the animal make sure it smells me first and I would look for its toys so sit on the floor and play I also ask what their walking schedule is so that they can have the time to get their energy out.

About: I grew up in a household full of animals, so I’m used to some chaotic pet energy. :) I like to play and create a bond with pets. My main focus is making them feel comfortable with the experience. I work full time, but I’m home often so I can work around my schedule when needed. I enjoy just hanging out with the pets but I can also go on an adventure with them if needed to get that energy out! I’ve had many puppies and kittens in my day so I know how to work with them and help potty train if needed. Right now I have two small girl dogs who are super friendly and just want more friends in their lives! They love cats and dogs alike.

About: I have a 11 year old yorkie/havenese named daisy and she has been in our care since she was 1 y/o. she loves meeting new friend and will love the company of your dog! Ramon has also been in care of plenty of his family dogs as well! there was always no less than 4 dogs in the house. We love dogs so much and there will be an abundance of love to go around with my family. We can't wait to play with our new furry friends. My boyfriend and i have plenty of time through out the week together to care for your beloved pets! we are transitioning in between jobs and so we have plenty of time on our hands to care for your furry friends! We take Daisy out at least 2 to 4 times a day with feeding twice a day. She is a bit older now so she doesn't need as much time but we do still try to take her out to experience the worlds as much as she can.
About: Hi! I am a 2020 graduate of University of Maryland and work as a public school teacher in PG county. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and have lots of experience with big dogs (my family had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever). I was a secondary caregiver for a future guide dog puppy while in college and helped with obedience classes for my friend’s Great Dane, so I also have a good amount of experience with young dogs. I am friendly, responsible, and timely. I am very active and would love to walk your dog as long as you want, but I also love just hanging out and playing around the house too for less-active dogs. I am available any time Friday - Sunday and evenings and mornings Monday - Thursday. I have some breaks between classes during the week when I could stop in or be available for a potty break. I always strive to be as clean and respectful of your home as possible, and to leave it just as I found it (or better)!

“Kelly is a complete life-saver. My family has had a vacation planned for almost a year. The day before we left, I reached out to the dog sitter (NOT KELLY) and was ghosted. She never responded or replied. At 9pm, the night before my vacation, with a departure time of 8am, I was in a panic. Kelly was very quick to respond, she answered all my questions and even worked with me to find a way to get our pup to her since we were leaving too early to drop them off. While our dog was there, Kelly sent constant updates and photos. Her and her husband truly enjoyed watching my dog and it made me so comfortable knowing she was in good hands. She has a large fence in backyard which was perfect for my dog, and her dog River is an absolute sweetheart! My dog was EXHAUSTED for days after because she had so much fun at Kelly's.
