About: My Work History: My 30 plus career was in Quality and Risk for financial institutions most recently ending a contractor position mid summer of 2023. About Me: I had the opportunity to take a career hiatus after ending a 15 year career to focus on family with the plan to return to work within the year. Then Covid hit. As a result I was fortunate to stay home longer than anticipated and care for our families new addition, our now five year old Bulldog, Boxer, Shepherd Mix. This made me realize the importance of her growth and safety as she flourished with consistency during human connection. I believe this alleviated her diagnosed anxiety and gave her a sense of not only security but happiness. As long as I can remember I have had a passion for connecting with pets and making sure they are not just cared for by feeding and walking, but to also make them feel safe with their caretaker. I believe animals should respect humans and at the same time humans should respect the loyalty, love and health of their pets. My entire life I have owned Chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and two cats. Most proudly I have raised 5 kids who have had hamsters' and fish while 2 children left them in our care when spending half their time with their other parental unit. Over 4 years ago I hired a trainer for our family dog and have skills that can be put to use to help your dog if they are currently in training. I am familiar with crates and to identify when a dog may not feel safe, anxious and when they give a warning to people to back off if they are not in their best mood. I am familiar with the laws of Delaware for on leash and off leash. I am also happy to give your loyal pet its daily medication during the visit if needed. If that's not built into the daily schedule then that can take a while to acclimate depending on the animal. If I were in a client's home I should not be caught off guard on what they expect and or what they would like to set as a routine. For instance, if I have 2 visits for one home and their animal(s) we would need to know if there is feeding, water, medicine and walking or exercising during each visit. If I notice they are not eating or drinking or playful during those visits I would want to discuss with the client to consider whether or not there are options to help their pet thrive with nutrition. I am also aware of foods that should not be provided to the dog, nor would I bring my own treats unless it was approved by Rover and Client.

About: I have a consistent morning walk routine and welcome yours joining me. Our dogs are great hosts who respect our guests. I have fostered for years, from bottle babies to seniors, so have lots of experience with new dogs and short term visitors. I am primarily working from home and can keep your dog company. On days when I do have to go to the office, your dog will be alone (with our dogs) for only 4-6 hours. I know a tired dog is a good dog, so some exercise and playtime are built into our mornings and afternoons. We have two dogs - a 9 year old (DOB Jul 2017) 10 pounder and a 7 month old (DOB Dec 2025) golden retriever. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of safe space to run. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays all day. The rest of the week, I work 8am-6pm therefore, I can do evenings if needed after 6pm. I am more than willing to go to anyone’s house to pet/house sit or even just go to let them out or play/ feed them. I am willing to stay overnight for owner weekend trips if needed. Just need to let me know so I can arrange childcare for my son and also I have my full time job on Fridays and Sunday 8-6 but can be there after work if staying overnight! Also willing to pet sit any kind of pet!

I am currently an active college student, but I have somewhat situated myself with a work-life balance. I am available and flexible for weekdays and weekends! About: I always grew up with animals and went into college studying pre-veterinary medicine. I worked closely with veterinarian at an animal hospital gaining experience and knowledge on how to care for animals. My daily routine is organized and dependable, allowing me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I make sure they stay on their normal schedule with feeding, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for animals to run around in. And a good trunk space and seat accommodations for car rides.
About: When I was around 8 I started volunteering at a barn simply because I loved to be around animals. I was constantly walking my neighbors dogs and my own. I now work at a boarding facility where I take care of dogs and cats. I love it and enjoy nothing more than making sure your pets are happy and cared for when you are not able to be there all the time. My friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets when they are away. My family currently has 3 rescue dogs, a cat and 3 horses. I look forward to the opportunity of caring for your fur babies!! I am going into my freshman year of community college and love the opportunity to be able to do something that I love in my free time I currently have 3 dogs that get along really well with each other and other dogs. I pay very close attention to how dogs act around each other and their environment to ensure they are safe.
About: Hi! We are Hannah and Bierina. In order to provide the most flexible care possible, we work together to care for your fur babies. Quality care for animals is our forever top priority. Between us, we have trained puppies, had many senior dogs and dogs with special needs. (Epilepsy, etc.) Our biggest goal is to work with you to hear what works for your pet on the daily and find a way to recreate that in the new environment or match that in theirs! This way your fur babies know that they are safe, and the change of carer and environment creates the least amount of stress possible. I currently create my own schedule so I am able to facilitate flexibility around your pets and their established routines. I will work with you to make it as seamless as possible. I care for pets by ensuring I am communicating with their parents about their daily schedules and expectations; trying to replicate those typically ensures pets feel the most comfortable with consistency!

The property is a perfect getaway with a large fenced in yard for running and playing, and the pool for pups that like to swim. Brittany is such a great caretaker, sending us daily photos and updates, even going above and beyond to replace Luna's bed when another pup made a hole in hers!
