About: We have been a dog family for the past 11.5 years! We love our dogs so much! We have an 11 year old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix and a 2 year old Aussiedoodle. They are sweet and fun and love other dogs! We have 4 kiddos as well who love caring for the dogs including our 12 and 11 year old girls who love taking the dogs for walks! We are a homeschooling family so we are home most of the time and don't kennel our dogs at all while we are home! We have a huge fenced-in backyard that the dogs love to roam and run around in! “Yvonne and her husband granted me an amazing experience of boarding my dog (Freda). It all began with a last minute trip, which required me to board Freda within 48 hours. I sent Yvonne a request based on her location and availability for the days I required. This turned into a blessing. She replied almost immediately. She offered to host Freda as long as as our initial meeting between Freda and her own dog (Quincy) went well. When I first arrived Yvonne and her husband were so welcoming. We discussed our pets and introduced ourselves - it felt more than just business of boarding my dog. This experience was different. This experience was exceptional. They showed me around the area of their home where Freda would eat and sleep. They also showed me around their beautiful fenced in yard where she could run comfortably. They also stated they only host one pet at a time and never leave the dog unattended. This put a lot of my thoughts at ease. Throughout my trip Yvonne sent me pictures and provided me updates and once again worked well with my return schedule to pick up Freda. I will definitely be using Yvonne again if she’s available as she was a wonderful host to Freda and I. Thank you.”

About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. About: Dog owners and their dogs will love many things about the care that I provide. First, I have always shown love and care to every dog that I have met and all these dogs have responded in a positive manner. Second, I believe in a healthy lifestyle for my dogs (as well as myself, haha) and take my dogs for walks everyday, and feeding them their recommended portion of dog food with minimal people food. Third, keeping my dogs on a daily routine helps tremendously as well as their owners. Growing up I have had a Schnauzer (Mickey), Springer Spaniel (Snickers), Springer Spaniel (Princess), two box turtles (Fred and Wilma), and currently own two Puggles (Liberty & Bell). All the dogs I have trained to not go to the bathroom in the house, and many tricks. I work full-time (7am-330pm) and I am available Monday-Friday before 7am and after 330pm. About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my teen to adult years. I volunteered at a rescue taking care of mostly the cats. I’ve previously helped rescue kittens and dogs. I’ve always had animals around me. I’m a very big animal lover. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs and cat sit a kitten from time to time. I give the cats baths maybe once a month and the dogs weekly and I routinely walk the dogs. I watch the dogs while they’re outside while also giving them extra love. I love taking dogs on walks. I play with cats and even bring along toys that I know my cats love.

“Yvonne and her husband granted me an amazing experience of boarding my dog (Freda). It all began with a last minute trip, which required me to board Freda within 48 hours. I sent Yvonne a request based on her location and availability for the days I required. This turned into a blessing. She replied almost immediately. She offered to host Freda as long as as our initial meeting between Freda and her own dog (Quincy) went well. When I first arrived Yvonne and her husband were so welcoming. We discussed our pets and introduced ourselves - it felt more than just business of boarding my dog. This experience was different. This experience was exceptional. They showed me around the area of their home where Freda would eat and sleep. They also showed me around their beautiful fenced in yard where she could run comfortably. They also stated they only host one pet at a time and never leave the dog unattended. This put a lot of my thoughts at ease. Throughout my trip Yvonne sent me pictures and provided me updates and once again worked well with my return schedule to pick up Freda. I will definitely be using Yvonne again if she’s available as she was a wonderful host to Freda and I. Thank you.”

About: My name is Taryn and I have lived with animals all my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, horses, fish, chickens, and small snakes. I have two young adult daughters that live at home and share the same passion as I do. I do have a 7yr old mix of my own that enjoys playing with others. If your dog happens to not be dog friendly, no worries; I provide in home dog care, drop in visits and dog walks! My home is clean, quiet, and pet proof. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for your best friend to run and play. We even have trails nearby where we can go on fun adventures! Pets will have free roam of the house so they don’t feel left out, after all they are apart of the family. Your pet(s) will never be alone or feel scared with me as their sitter. I work full time during the week. But I’m available weeknights for drop-ins, walks, and daycare. I’m available Fri-Sunday for the above as well as in home and in my home boarding. I have a large yard and a friendly dog for your pup to play with. If needed, I also have a crate. I don’t like crating my dog so prefer not to crate yours unless instructed by you for specific reasons. Of course they’ll be let out often to use the bathroom and have unlimited access to water. In your home, your pet will be let out when needed/scheduled if they have one, played with, and loved on. No matter where we are, my goal is to make your pet feel safe.
“Jilesa is simply awesome. I love her little farmette and all her animals. Shorty is a very active dog and meeting the different animals certainly kept him entertained. She had given him a bath, ( he is part Shih Tzu and has white curly hair), and trimmed his nails before I picked him up and he looks like a big fluffy snowball! He came home and took a long nap which is unusual for him so I know he was a busy little man. Don’t hesitate to engage Jilesa; she and her husband are definitely animal lovers and will take good care of your pet. 10 out of 10 stars!!”
“Our dog Cooper seemed so happy during his overnight boarding. He normally doesn’t eat at first when being boarded but he was enjoying a treat and eating his breakfast within moments of being dropped off. We received thoughtful updates and photos and Cooper was relaxed, comfortable and had settled in so quickly. Fantastic communication and quick responses made our trip stress free; we knew our dog was in good hands!”
