About: I have always been an animal lover. I've had small,medium and extra large dogs! Growing up I was the kid that had rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. I obtained my vet assistant certification to learn how to better care for my pets and have enjoyed spoiling them ever since! I'd love to help care for your fur babies. I am currently working until 4pm but I'm available any time after and on weekends. My husband is home during the day so there is always someone home to look after our pets. I have a park very close by along with nature trails for long walks. I have a 6 year old large baby who is able to keep anybody entertained.

About: I have watched many breeds and types of animals dogs, cats, birds, and more. I look at the type of animal it’s age and many other things to see how that animal needs to be taken care of! I can watch dogs any day on the weekend and most days after 5pm. I work in the military so that is why my schedule is so tight. (Relatively) I care for pets as if they’re my own animal! About: Working with animals has always been my passion. Right now I'm going to school to get my veterinary technician license. I have 2 pets of my own, Pepper and Teddy ages 8 and 6. About: I personally have two dogs and two cats. I have spent about half of the last 7 years caring for friends animals ranging from daily visits with cats to a 6 month at one time boarding of a dog. I work full time so am usually out of the house Monday - Friday from 7 to 5. We have a small dog door that leads to a fully fenced backyard so dogs still have access to use the bathroom as needed. I have two dogs and two cats so the type of dog or cat that can stay with us needs to be okay with both. One of the dogs really likes to play with other dogs. He can play pretty aggressively and is also not neutered so I cannot watch unspayed females in my home. One of the cats was chased up a tree by a German Shepard and doesn't respond well to larger dogs if they don't give her her space. We have a setup where the animals sleep together in their own room and are only allowed on the furniture in that room. We have plenty of space and have spare crates if needed. The dogs always have access to a dog door except for when they go to their room at night to sleep. We have two litter boxes set up in different parts of the house and have spares that can be put out.
About: Although I do not have cats of my own, I am happy to care for yours! I’ve worked as a cat volunteer at the humane society and pet sit for cats in the past. I have not administered medication to cats, but am happy to learn!

Mack is an anxious boy and is fearful of most strangers, so we have had difficulty finding someone who he felt comfortable with and could care for him while we’re away. Initially, we were nervous dropping him off because we weren’t sure how Mack would be, but he walked right up to Jesus and everything went great! About: Hi! My name is Yari. I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve been around mostly large dogs breeds(Multiple Boxers, Multiple Rotties)but I appreciate a fun sized fur baby as well. I am a dog mom to a Jack Russel Tarrier(She’s my World). I have worked at a doggie daycare/boarding so multiple dogs are ok with me. I love taking strolls and enjoying the weather; And if I can do that with your Fur Baby, it’s worth even more. I am very flexible with your needs and the needs of your Furbabies. About: I have been taking care of my friends and families’ pets since I got to VA in 2019 and if I love doing it for free, don’t you worry that I will not love or care about your fur babies. I have had my own baby back in AZ and he passed away right after I got to VA. So it took a toll on me and I decided that every baby deserves to be taken care of and so much loves. I am a full-time student for my bachelor's and a reservist. I will keep my calendar updated based on my availability. Most of my days should look similar, but when I have my travel plan, I will update my calendar. I will make sure to send pics of your pet after every walk before I leave your place. Their safety and your place's safety during my stop by is my top priority. Please text me anytime if you want to see your fur babies while they are with me. I understand every paw parent is different, so I do not mind.

“Steven is fantastic. I had a family emergency and the person who normally walked Tully was unavailable. Contacted Steve and he came right away for a meet and greet. My dog is a rescue so he doesn’t always do well with strangers but he was so happy with Steve right away. Steve asked if he could take Tully on a short introductory walk to make sure they were a good match which made me much more comfortable. Definitely would recommend Steve! Amazing with both families and fur babies!”
About: Working with animals has always been my passion. Right now I'm going to school to get my veterinary technician license. I have 2 pets of my own, Pepper and Teddy ages 8 and 6. I am currently working at a pet hospital as a veterinary assistant. We see a variety of dogs and cats, so I am comfortable around different breeds, big and small. I can provide plenty of belly ribs and TLC! I love working with puppies! It's so much fun when they come to the hospital. They are so playful and cuddly! I'm easy to get a long with. I'm a very dedicated and organized person. I would show your fur babies the love and care they deserve. I would treat them as if they were my own fur babies! *Please note availability will change weekly* I currently do not have a set schedule. I will keep my calendar updated as much a possible. If you have any question please ask When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my own pets. We go on walks in my neighborhood. There are two ponds in my neighborhood both dogs have a fun time sniffing anything and everything. We'll play a bunch of games, and explore all the smells around the neighborhood. I am comfortable feeding, administering medications. I will check fence or gates before letting a dog outside. Before leaving, I'll make sure to lock the doors and do one last check. Making sure the area the dog will stay in is clean and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crate are secure.
