About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, since I can remember. I have potty trained puppies and taught them tricks. I have experience with senior dogs and special needs as well. I also used to have a hamster, a rat, and hedgehog. Currently I own one dog and a saltwater fish tank. I have plenty of experience with cats as well. About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 15. Neighbor, friends and family have relied on me to take care of their furry family members. At our small clinic, we were taught how to work alone with many different temperaments and how to safely navigate anxious dogs. As a part of my training, our hospital was also Fear Free Accreditied, meaning that I was trained specifically on how to reduce fear and stress in scary environments. I believe most animals are not aggressive, only afraid and need patience. I work from home 7-4 Monday through Friday. This would be in addition to my current job. I also have two cats of my own and grew up with farm dogs I work early in the mornings part time, so i will have lots of free time in the afternoon and all the time on the weekends to take care of your friend I have three friendly cats at my home and I am very respectful of any rules that animals or I may have to abide by.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of my own dogs both small and large breeds as well as cats. I’ve also taken care of pets for friends and family while they are out of town. I have been working in healthcare since 2019 so I har lots of care giving experience I currently work Monday through Friday and would love do drop in visits before or after work. About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable. In the beginning I expect normal hesitation, so I am patient and playful to earn trust until everyone is comfortable.
“When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. About: I have over 10+ years of experience taking care of animals. When I was in highschool I had a love for all animals and was in a small animal science program where we learned to take care of small animals as well as learn to bathe and give hair cuts to dogs. Once I new this was something I enjoyed I worked at a kennel for a short time before starting to work at Petsmart in NY as a bather. While I was in community college I continued to work as a bather until I moved from home. When I would come home for breaks I would work at the Kennel at Petsmart working the overnight shift. During this whole time I was babysitting, dog/cat sitting and taking care of smaller critters like chinchillas, a turtle, a rabbit, and of course fish. I had used this app for a short time but in March 2020 I moved to Utah to work in the National Park Service. Since I was over an hour away from civilization I deactivated my account but continued to house sit for my co-workers and friends that had dogs and cats. I now work full time but I would love the extra cuddles on my off days. During my off days I am able to visit for a walk/ feeding/ or checkup any time of the day or spend the whole day with your pet if you would like. During my work days I can not visit from 8AM-5:30PM But I am willing to do overnight visits on my work days. I will send you texts and photos during my visits or walks.
