About: Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! My older dog recently passed in March. He had a pericardial effusion and diagnosed anxiety. My other pup is about to turn 2 in July. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog whether they are in my home or I am dropping in to spend time / walk your dog. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give medications, follow training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with other people or dogs, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine! I work fully remote and am able to support drop ins, walks and daycare. I walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in our home, they need to be friendly with other dogs and potentially able to be closed into a room for a period of time if I have a meeting. I’d make sure to communicate this information when you are booking. For walks / being in your home, I ask for honesty in how you want your dog to be cared for. Ideally I’d prefer they are friendly so that I can bring my dog for walks too but understand that’s not always the case.

My family has also fostered puppies for the past 5–6 years, which has given me experience with young dogs, routines, patience, and providing a safe, loving environment. Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets like they’re my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to your pets before starting my full-time role in July. Once I begin, I’ll only be in office two days a week, so I’ll still have lots of availability. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and care needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fenced yard and one friendly small dog who loves making new friends. Whether caring for your dog in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel loved, safe, active, and comfortable. I have a 5yr old Bernese Mountain Dog, he is super sweet and loves to be around other dogs if you are comfortable with that! I also can just spend time with your dog 1 on 1 as well! I am easy going, compassionate, and love to be active! We have a fenced in back yard and patio perfect for some off leash time sunshine. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats, birds, lizards, hermit crabs, fish, and rabbits. Taking care of pets has always come naturally to me. Since I was around 10 years old, I’ve helped walk my neighbors’ dogs and puppies, as well as pet sit their dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. My cats have access to food and water throughout the day, with their setup safely placed out of reach from dogs when needed. I do not crate animals unless specifically requested by the owner, as I prefer pets to feel comfortable and free in the home.
