“My pups had a great time with Adrienne, who accommodated us last minute. Our pups are high anxiety and they settled in quickly and happily for a couple of nights at her place. She’s great about providing the amount of updates you feel comfortable with, and was thoughtful with how she prepared for their stay. I would definitely recommend!”

“First time booking, will definitely book again the next time we need dog boarding in this area! Renee had fantastic communication, was super friendly, took care with introducing our dogs, and just plain made Greta and me super happy. Highly recommend!”

“My pup Topaz had the best time with Ellen. Ellen took time with Topaz and made it fun for her. Since Topaz is a senior dog, she is very sensitive to her environment, and she fit in with the other dogs as well. I will be bringing her back on a regular basis now!”

“Words cannot express my satisfaction having Annette look after Axel. Learning of her experience with fosters it was a no brainer to book with her. It was wonderful peace of mind to know Axel would be taken care of in a lovely home environment.”

Her house is clearly a place where my pup feels its a home away from home, and that's so important as someone who travels extensively for work! Thank you, Sophia!”

“Nat & Ally were excellent with my girl. They were very accepting when I needed to change the dates several times. They sent lots of pictures so I could see my girl and how comfortable she was, particularly during a thunderstorm which she hates. I will definitely be booking with them in the future!”

About: I am a dependable and experienced cat sitter serving the Frederick and Walkersville, Maryland area. I bring over 30 years of professional experience in training, leadership development, and organizational support, where reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication were essential. These same qualities define how I care for cats and respect my clients’ homes. My career involved extensive travel, which gave me a deep appreciation for how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets and home while you’re away. Having relied on friends and professional services to look after my own property, I understand the peace of mind cat owners need—and I take that responsibility seriously. I have lifelong experience with cats. Growing up with my three brothers, our home always included animals, with cats being a central part of our family. We often had up to three cats at a time, representing a variety of breeds. In fact, my family raised Persian cats for sale, which meant hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages—from young kittens to senior cats. This included feeding routines, grooming, litter care, and monitoring health and behavior. Alongside cats, I’ve also cared for dogs, a parakeet, a turtle, hamsters, and goldfish, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal care and behavior. My background has taught me that cats thrive on consistency, calm environments, and attentive observation—especially when their owners are away. At 55 and newly retired, I’m active, energetic, and excited to spend time doing what I love. I live in the Walkersville area and maintain an active lifestyle, currently training for another triathlon. My schedule allows me to be flexible, attentive, and fully present for the cats I care for. My Cat Sitting Services Include: Personalized in-home cat care Feeding, litter box maintenance, and fresh water Playtime, companionship, and routine monitoring Medication administration (if required) Clear communication and updates while you’re away Respectful and reliable house care during visits I treat every cat as an individual and every home with care and respect. Whether you’re traveling for business or vacation, you can feel confident knowing your cat is in experienced, calm, and caring hands.

About: I have owned cats my whole life and have always ended up with cats that need lots of medication so I’m very good at giving medications. I also had the chore of cleaning a litter box since I was about 10 years old so I can definitely clean the litter box.

“Once again an awesome experience with Misty and Fiona. They sent notes and pictures from every visit and we could clearly see that our girls were comfortable and well taken care of. This is the second of many more bookings in the future. Highly recommend- 5 stars”

About: I’ve dog sat for a few family friends and absolutely loved it! I love animals (especially dogs) and would be happy to care for your doggo. I currently work part time but I set my own hours! So evenings or early mornings could definitely work out for me. I also am a college student starting back up in the fall semester of 2025 but my schedule is very flexible. I don’t think I would be able to care for your pets in my current living situation but would be happy to come to you when needed! I love walking and I’d be thrilled to bring a friend along with me (your dog).

“Rylyn took great care of Mimi. She even got her to come out of hiding. No one else besides me has been able to since Dec, 2023. Great accomplish. Rylyn jumped in to pick up extra visits - left earlier & delayed getting back on time. I will definitely use her again.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the incredible care Justine provided while we were away! She went above and beyond to ensure our kitties felt safe, loved, and comfortable in our absence. From thoughtful updates and adorable photos to her genuine affection and attention to detail, it was clear our kitties were in the best hands. We came home to relaxed, happy cats—and a perfectly maintained home. Truly exceptional service—we wholeheartedly recommend Justine to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. I would be open to set a meeting with you and your pet before house sitting or check-in dates to discuss schedules and specifics as well as to meet your pet. I am currently unable to sit at my own house. My contact info will be provided and I will be available for call at all points during my care for your pet.

“Grace is a very sweet and polite woman. She did an excellent job feeding and taking care of our 3 kitties. One of our cats needs 3 medicines and she didn't have any trouble giving them to her. If she had a question about feeding our one particular cat, she sent a text and ask what she should do. She is very trustworthy, and everything was fine when we returned home. Even though feeding our cats requires a lot of steps, it did not keep her from wanting to take care of them. She said she would be willing to do it again. We definitely will use her again.”

“Very good - Jessie was flexible when weather changed our plans and provided good updates. Our dog just wanted to lie in bed, but Jessie tried to coax her into some exercise and was willing to stay the full 30 minutes.”

“Jenni was great with our two dogs. She knew how to make our nervous dog feel comfortable and was able to administer their daily medication. She also provided frequent updates and pictures of the pups. Highly recommend!”

“Judy is great! She was kind enough to do a meet and greet prior to dropping in over the weekend to feed our cats. She put our amazon packages safely inside and made sure our cats were fed, watered, and scooped the litter boxes. She also sent cute photos of them and I could tell they were comfortable with her. We will book with Judy again!”

“Sofia did a great job with our two dogs while we were gone for the week. She sent pictures every time she was there. She communicated very well and did everything we asked of her. Will definitely rebook and recommend Sofia.”

“Ellen is great! She has a big heart and is an animal person through and through. We started out with a few boarding visits and now go to Ellen for day care every week. She’s very easy to work with and has a great location for dogs to run around/play/hike. Thanks Ellen!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels — from playful young labs and doodles to senior dogs and cats needing extra patience and attention. I’m naturally calm and gentle, but I also love matching a pet’s energy through play, walks, and engagement. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important trust and communication are, so I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Since I’m home from college for the summer, I have a very open and flexible schedule that allows me to fully focus on pet care. I’m able to provide pets with lots of attention, companionship, exercise, and regular updates for owners throughout the day. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by sticking to their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, feeding, and companionship while adapting to each pet’s personality and needs. I also provide regular updates and photos for owners while they’re away.
About: I have taken care dogs and animals of all types my whole life. As a biologist I am comfortable with all types of animals and taking care of their medical needs. I am happy to do drop in visits, dog walks, or puppy train. I just relocated to MD to be with my active duty husband so other then taking care of our 4 kids I’ll have a ton of time to care for your best friend. I love dogs and I would be honored to care for yours. I have two friendly large dogs and we live a few short steps to a trail and lake. Happy to take your fur ball for long walks or jogs.
About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with childhood dogs (Lab and a Scottish Terrier) and love all animals! I'm the go-to dog sitter for both family and neighbors as we have lots of extra room in our house and hearts, along with a fenced in yard. I can't wait to treat your baby like my own! My husband works from home and can let your fur baby outside as needed and keep them company. I love to cater to your dogs needs! Whether that's a game of fetch in the back yard, going for a long walk, meeting new friends at my neighborhood dog park, or hanging out on the couch, I'm just happy to have them around! I have a fenced in yard and a friendly cat at home. He keeps to himself for the most part. I also have two children who love to play with and respect animals as much as I do!
“Robin was awesome! She took my Winnie in on very short notice which was so helpful, and Winnie came back happy and tuckered out! She even did little trainings with her which I was so surprised to see Winnie adapt so well so quick!”

About: I've taken care of pet dogs for thenlast 15 plus years I owned 3 Rottweilers and competed them in the akc so I can take care of small or big dogs I currently work from home and am available all the time to take care of dogs and actually have the time to play and take care of the needs of the puppies or older dogs I have a fenced yard and are capable of taking great care of the pet I also would provide play time for them where they can play inside or outside

“Rebecca's has been wonderful with our Baby Girl. I have never left Baby Girl with anyone due to her high level of separation anxiety but we are in Maryland for my husband's 50th High School Reunion so we didn't have a choice. I'm so glad that I chose Rebecca because she has been amazing. Baby Girl has had a good time at her house and went with Rebecca willingly Friday (her first day in doggy day care) which I knew Baby Girl sensed that Rebecca loved dogs and that she was safe with her sitter. Thank you Rebecca for putting us at ease and knowing that our fur baby is in good hands! I would highly recommend Rebecca and if the opportunity arises to book with Rebecca again we definitely will!”

“I don't normally leave reviews... however... my labradoodle had a BLAST! The property is beautiful and very well kept and clean... Dan and his wife are totally awesome, caring and super attentive to my dog's needs. I was worry-free the entire day. I would highly recommend Dan for your pup's needs.”

“Sandra is so nice and she was such a great fit for Cooper and our family!! We appreciate her so much, she’s so kind. Everyday she sent us pictures of our lab having so much fun with other dogs and her chihuahua. We are definitely going to book her again!!!”
“This was our first time leaving little Bear with Jolene. She made everything so easy for us and made us feel very comfortable. Our little guy seemed to be in great hands with her. We feel lucky to have found her and would love to have Bear stay with her in the future.”

“Rene is such a thoughtful and conscientious person, I could tell when I first met her that Rene would keep our fur children safe. Our dogs are medium sized but very sensitive and don’t fair well in kennels with a lot of loud barking, hard floors, and little human contact. Our youngest gets separation anxiety and jumps fences. Rene took all of this to heart and kept our pups safe and happy. Thanks so much , Rene!”
About: I grew up in a household with dogs. My dogs (and your dog) are part of my family. They are included in our routine. They are loved and well taken care. I am a stay at home mom. I can accommodate your dog’s need easily. Your dog will be loved and taken care as my own. Your dog must be kid and dog friendly. My children are taught to be respectful to all pets. My dog is neutered and friendly (and fully vaccinated). I take with my dog two long walks morning and evening but I also leave my dog in my yard some time during the day.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.

I am the dominant pet care taker in my home with two dogs (my angels). I care for pets in my clients home by greeting them and let them get to know me. If the client has a fenced in yard for me to take the dogs out and play thats amazing, but if not I take the dogs for nice walk to get them exercise and some entertainment. I am all for following directions so just let me know what you need and ill handle it!
About: My experience and education ensures the safety of animals of varying temperament levels and backgrounds by using different approved methods of training and mental enrichment activities (please inquire for more detail). I adapt quickly and enjoy creating new games or activities. My schedule changes frequently and sometimes at the last minute. I often accept requests up to 3 months ahead of time. If needed, I'm able to respond to last minute requests. I anticipate and meet the needs of animals by observing their breathing, posture, and behavior. Typical care includes but is not limited to: diet, exercise, medication management, obedience training and general housekeeping.
“Misty is fantastic. Caring about your pup…treats like her own. On time, just wonderful to work with, and my dog never looked back as he went out the door. Instantly knew he was loved.”

“Danielle is amazing!! She has been walking my two pups on a regular basis for a few months. She is always on time and so communicative in how my pups did on their walk. I can tell Danielle cares for them like they are her own. I highly recommend her!”

About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.
“Nancy is fantastic. She takes my dog for a walk multiple times a week. She's very reliable and gives me feedback on my pet after each walk. She's on time and keeps my mind at ease to focus on work when I'm at work. Nancy and my dog really seem to enjoy their time together each day. I would definitely recommend Nancy to anyone needing a kind and responsible person to care for their pet.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 5, and I started working at a doggy daycare when I was 18. My senior year of highschool I was an intern at a local animal hospital and I loved it! I would love to spend the summer with your dogs and provide whatever services and help you may need! I am currently unemployed for the summer, so I can spend any time needed with your dogs. I have applied for jobs, so if my availability changes you will be notified but as of right now I am free to do anything. I have a huge (not fenced in) backyard. Since working at the doggy daycare, I have experience in helping dogs into crates, doing specific food for the dogs, attending to their personal needs, and making sure they have hours of entertainment and love.
About: I have raised my own dog since she was ten weeks old, mentored by my father who has raised three litters of puppies throughout his life. I have also done pet-sitting for friends and family for dogs as small as beagle puppies to as large as a Labrador. I am currently on summer break from graduate school, but I take five- mile walks every morning year-round. As my classes are in the evening, I can fit dog-walking into my schedule in the mornings and early afternoons. I am attentive and responsible for my pets needs, and take pride in ensuring that the animals I care for are happy and healthy. I have a nine-year-old mixed breed dog who enjoys her daily walks and sunbathing on the deck, but does not enjoy the company of other dogs very much.

“Words cannot express my satisfaction having Annette look after Axel. Learning of her experience with fosters it was a no brainer to book with her. My experience dropping off and picking up, seeing her interact with my boy and hearing how she handled situations with him, solidified she will be my go to sitter. It was wonderful peace of mind to know Axel would be taken care of in a lovely home environment.”
