About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I recently graduated from UMD and I am taking a summer class to finish up my double degree. Otherwise my schedule should be fairly open and I should have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I can follow any directions needed for caring for your fur babies. I can go for long walks to provide exercise, play (of course), cuddle, reinforce tricks/training, administer oral medicine, etc.. About: I haven't been without a dog since I was just a little girl. I have rescued 4 of my own dogs and have fostered 11 dogs in just the last 3 years. I have had dogs from puppies to seniors and everywhere in between. I have pretty open availability to able to tend to your pets needs almost any time that it requires. From drop ins and walks to overnight sitting. My own pets are treated as family members and I will treat anyone else's pet the same exact way. My motto has always been They are "puppers" no matter how old they are!
About: I've been taking care of dogs and sometimes a cat that my family had had for many years. In 2017, I got my first dog, Rowan, who's in my profile picture with me. Sadly, he passed away in March of 2025, but I was there with him every step of the way and tried to give him the best home and all the love any pet deserves. I have experience with potty training and some basic command training using voice tone, treats, and a consistent routine. When my dog got older and got sick, I had to adjust certain ways of doing things to help him be more comfortable and get him to eat and take medications, so I'm a bit experienced with those situations, as well as with a healthy young pet. I'm available every day, except for Tuesday-Thursday. I'm good with dropping by every 2-4 hours or even staying over for an extended period of time to watch and take care of a pet. If it is a dog I'm caring for, then I'll give regular bathroom breaks and, at the same time, incorporate exercise time for the dog (may give more time if needed/requested). I'll also feed and check on the pet as requested and discussed with the pet owners to ensure that the needs of the pet and what is expected of me are satisfied. If it is a cat, I'll engage outside or inside as requested, feed and clean the litter box, and even give a little time with the animal to ensure they don't feel lonely, and then either leave or stay as requested.
About: I have taken care of all different types of animals for years including different type of dogs ranging from corgis to australian shepard’s weather it was mine or a family members. I am currently enrolled in college but still looking to care for pets on the weekends or breaks from school on holidays when I return home! About: I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 3 dog's now and just enjoy their company because they make me happy. We like them more than people at times. A dog will always be in my life. Your pets are treated as if they are mine. Big yard to play in and to play with my dogs if they like them. If they don’t I have plenty of rooms to keep them safe. And if your the type that would prefer to have someone stay at your place so you dog doesn’t get upset i can work with you as well and follow all your dogs needs. I’ll even pick your mail up and take your trash out.
About: Ive been taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets for a little over 6 years now. Over the years I have learned many things about pets and how to calm them down and gently direct them in the right path. I also have lots of experience with senior dogs who need more attention to detail than younger dogs. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite well. Im a sophomore at frederick community college taking only one in person class, so my hours are almost always completely available! I am the dominant pet care taker in my home with two dogs (my angels). I care for pets in my clients home by greeting them and let them get to know me. About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.
