“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”
“My Lola was put down a few days after her stay with Jeannie and Robert. I cannot express how thankful I am at the love and care they had always given her even through her last few moments. They live about 45 minutes away from me but because of the attentiveness, I would drive 2 hours if I had to! I didn’t have a car for the last time they watched Lola and they drove all the way down to pick her up and drop her off. Even with the loss of my little one, they remain family to me and us always. With or without a pet, I will forever be grateful and see them as one of my own.”

About: I've taken care off two dogs before inside my home and other persons home. I still do inside my home sometimes for a friend's when they go on vacation I can do any days depending on my work schedule that I have. I need 2 week in advance just for that reason so I know what times and day that I need available I take care of feeding dogs and cats, cleaning litter box, and walking the dogs and playing with them and Bonding with them. About: I am currently doing Rover part-time, I’m also working 2 other part-time jobs, however, for one of them I get to choose my own schedule. If given enough notice (usually a week) I can take off the days you’d need from one of my jobs, and then just schedule my other around it! I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and caring for them! Ive taken 2 pre-vet classes and would love to have a job working with animals full-time, no matter the job! As of now, I am caring for my 2 cats and leopard gecko! I only work Thurs-Sun, never more than 8 hours + my other job I can pick my own schedule! I am free all other weekdays to be able to take care of your pets! I am no longer able to do house sitting because I now have a baby to take care of, but if they are good with kids and cats, your pet is more than welcome to come stay with us! I prefer having the option to crate in case I need to go out for a bit, but I have taken care of pets who didn’t need one! Your pets are treated as my own when they are here, we take long walks around my apartment complex, I have treats for both cats and dogs, and many toys! About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.

About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I know what I'm doing and if you choose to book with me, rest assured your pets are in great, caring and knowledgeable hands. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I will give your dog lots of love and attention! I have toys and an extra bed and crate if needed as well as extra food bowls. I am a full time stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule. Our family lives in the country. We have 3 and a half acres so your dog will have lots of room to run and play! We also have extra leashes. You just bring the food and anything else you would like your dog to have for care. I try to be flexible but**** I Do ASK that pet parents stay within their scheduled drop off and pick up times that they put on their bookings. ****** Please text when you are on your way. Also please don't just show up at my home unannounced and/or at a completely different time than planned. I have to set these boundaries because this my home not a dog kennel ********. “We took Finn over to Arlene’s for the first time yesterday to spend the day (after our meet and greet a couple of weeks prior). We picked him up from Arlene and she told me that I t took a little time (an hour) to get him to settle down, but after that he had a full day of play with the other 2 dogs that were there. From looking at the photos, I could tell Finn had the most enjoyable day! (He’s an only dog.) We plan on going out of town and I’m so happy to find someone that we feel comfortable leaving him with. About: Our home is a relaxed environment with plenty of room to wonder around and get sun light. We take 3 walks a day and run into plenty of other animals around the neighborhood and at the park. I and my wife work from home so there is always someone around! We take our dog for multiple walks a day & enjoy the playground so she can hang out with other dogs! Working from home makes things a breeze when taking care of pets! There are no issues with play time or even personal time. We adapt easily! While I’ve never had to take a pet I was caring for to an emergency vet, I believe it’s important to have that information readily available in case treatment ever becomes necessary. We’ll also discuss any limitations they may have, as well as whether they’re allowed to go on rides, walks, swimming outings, or even enjoy the occasional pup cup 🩶 I also like to review each pet’s daily routine and preferences with owners to help keep their care as consistent and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’ll ask about feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleeping arrangements, favorite activities, and any behaviors or sensitivities I should be aware of. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and stress-free in my care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family.

Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I know what I'm doing and if you choose to book with me, rest assured your pets are in great, caring and knowledgeable hands. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I've worked with just about every dog breed imaginable, and am always up for a challenge.

About: I LOVE DOGS!! What more can I say? I have had dogs in my family, of my own and taken care of family dogs practically since I was born. I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and love all of them, no matter what! I have had experience with special diets, dog walking and even diabetic dogs (using diabetic test strips and glucometer). Sometimes I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer: I can get along with all dogs and read what they need or want. I'm also great at helping dogs to heal or get over their fears!
