Maggie didn’t beg for food during their meals, nor did she whine to get something like she does at home. Sorry Dana she whined some after we got home but not too bad. At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. Your dog will be well cared for by me and my partner and have a playmate, Channing, a friendly and mellow rescue dog. As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. The meeting place is at a small park/playground in our neighborhood. 🗓️ 🚘 Drop Off and Pick Up Times *Weekdays: flexible, I’ll just need to know in advance to plan my schedule. *Weekends: Flexibility between 8am-7pm with advance notice. I work from home most of the week and am home most weekends, so your dog won’t be home alone too long but s/he should be comfortable to stay at home with Channing for a few hours. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

About: I’ve helped walk and play with dogs at a local dog shelter and also watch my friend’s dogs, including walking and sitting two dogs at a time. I work remote, Tuesday to Friday, and my job isn’t very busy so I have plenty of time on my hands to walk dogs anytime time during the weekdays. Weekends are also flexible too. About: I love dogs. All sizes but I have a soft spot for small dogs. I'm the type that like to do long walks and go to doggie parks. Im currently working full time but I know some people work late nights and their puppies need some loving and affection while they are gone. Im that person to give it. Im free from 5:30 to 9pm. Monday through Friday and 10am to 10pm Saturday and Sunday I know how hard it is to trust someone with your baby (I see all pets as babies) so I take this responsibility very serious. I want you to know how caring and responsible and understanding of the importance of taking care of your puppy. I have some puppy toys and a crate for certain times of the day. “I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog, Hazel, with Bryn. At the meet and greet, Hazel obviously liked Bryn (which is not always the case when meeting new people) so I knew we were off to a great start. Bryn has a calm personality and definitely is knowledgeable about dogs. She has a lovely home and a great fenced in backyard where the dogs can play. Her dog, Kepler, is very sweet. Bryn sent pictures and updates during Hazel's stay and reported that she did very well. She followed my instructions as far as giving Hazel her medications. I'd happily recommend Bryn to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are well-experienced dog owners. My husband, especially, has owned dogs of all different breeds, to include champion Russian Wolfhounds (his mom used to show dogs!). We have 3 young kids at the moment, all who love to pet and care for animals, espeically dogs, and will show them so much love and affection! We are responsible and will make sure pets are well taken care of and dogs are walked, fed and have a safe house to live in while they are away from their owners. My husband and I both work from home full-time, so someine is always at home to watch over your pet and take them for walks when needed. We may have to step out for a couple hours in the evening to take kids to activities, but we are always home by bedtime/well before bedtime. We have a fenced yard, and can crate the dog if needed. However, if your dog is comfortable, they can also sleep on a dog bed in our kids' room, our room, or really wherever they choose in the house. For dog walking services, both my husband and I will make sure we enter the house as instructed and lock the door when we leave. We both like to run, so are also happy to take your dog on a run if they have the energy!

“Maria is amazing with dogs. She is very responsible and honest. If you give your dog to Maria, you can be sure that your puppy will interact and play with all healthy dogs! I got photo “report” every single day, sometimes even twice! And I was so sure that my pup is having so much fun, that at one point just started being scared if she will still wanna go home lol. She kept my medium sized dog very active every day (just as she needs) and the best thing that she actually trained her a little and now my dog is not pulling the leash that badly. I couldn’t do it myself for like forever, but Maria did amazing job with my little Athena and there are no better words just to say, that Maria is one of the best dog sitters/trainers you can find!”
“Shanilka was an absolute lifesaver! This was my first time ever leaving Toby with a sitter, and she made the whole process completely stress-free. Right before I dropped him off, Toby got into a chicken bone (of course), but Shanilka wasn't fazed. She was calm and happy to keep an extra eye on him, which was such a relief. She sent plenty of photos and videos while I was away so I always knew how he was doing. It was so clear Toby got tons of love and had a wonderful time.
