I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. About: I have had pets since a child (duck, rabbit, dogs, cats, iguanas) and just love them. I let dogs take their time when exploring and I don’t rush them unless I see that they have found a Scooby snack. Most dogs prefer to sit in my lap even when in the presence of their owner. They love me and I love them even the sassiest of them. I work from home which allows me to be available 24 hours a day. If your pet is a foodie, they will love it here (salmon bites, duck necks, chicken feet, ice cream, pup cups and frozen fruit on hot days). I will send an update the first evening and the morning after so you are certain that they have settled in. Thereafter I will send a picture or video daily but you are welcomed to check in at any time. My assistant Imani (my mom who lives with and assists with sitting), also enjoys loving on and helping with your babies. She may help with check in/ check out and walks. **I now have a cat and cannot accept dogs that aren’t cat friendly. I also cannot accept unfixed dogs and dogs that aren’t housebroken. I walk 3-5 miles in the morning and another in the evenings (less depending on the weather). I would love to take your baby along. I have a friendly dog. I use baby gates and can also crate your dog (you must bring the crate with you). They would sleep in my bedroom on the dog beds and have free range of the house (except the kitchen which has a gate up).

About: *UPDATE*- I am home from college so I am available around South Jersey! I have been taking care of pets my whole life. I currently have 6 cats, a senior dog and a fish named Pedro, after the infamous Pedro Pascal. I’ve dealt with animals healthy and disabled, I’ve also dealt with animals of all sizes including horses! I rode horses for 14 years of my life and I’ve dealt with animals as small as a fish. For $15 extra I can do a professional photography photo shoot with the pets and include 5 digital photos and 1 complimentary 8x10 print 😊 I am currently a Junior at Stevenson University, so the pets I sit need to be okay with being let alone for a couple of hours while I attend classes. I also work part-time as a student film worker at my university's equipment room, and that's about ten hours a week. I care for pets very cautiously. I love all animals and want to make sure all pets are happy and safe within the environment I create.

First, he was able to accommodate us for many walks over the Thanksgiving holiday on relatively short notice. Then, he was so incredibly patient in getting to know our puppy. We did not realize how anxious our dog would be, as he is generally ok meeting people on walks. However, he is fearful when people come into our house and can growl and be reactive at times. Roy gave him the space he needed and didn’t force anything on our dog. He was patient with him and us and gave him lots of treats and gradually let our dog get to know him. It’s obvious that Roy has spent a lot of time around dogs and is adept at reading their body language. By the second walk, they were buddies and I know our pup will trust him more and more each walk.”

“Amazing sitter for my German Shepherd! I can’t say enough good things about Shakiyla! She watched my German Shepherd, Bucky, for 4 days and took such amazing care of him. Bucky can be a handful with his high energy and anxiety, but she handled him so well. At the last minute, we also asked if she could watch my mom’s dog, Kandi (a Husky/Shepherd mix), and she was more than willing. She cared for Kandi just as wonderfully, making sure her needs were met too. What really impressed me was her communication—she even put me, my mom, and my husband in a group chat so we all stayed updated. That way, if she couldn’t reach one of us, she could easily contact someone else. She went above and beyond by sending daily videos and pictures, which really put me at ease while I was away. On top of that, she shared some really helpful suggestions for Bucky that showed she genuinely cared about his well-being.
