They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. About: My husband and I are blessed to have a totally fenced in home with over three acres. I decided to use this blessing to bless dogs to come and run and play. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. My father had a heart for animals and I believe that is where my love has come from. I have three dogs of my own and each one has a very special spirit about them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the rescues and shelters walking the dogs there. I also take rescue puppies into our home and foster them until they are adopted into a loving family. We believe in exercising your pet whether by means of walking, playing with their favorite toy, sitting on the porch just hanging out and also then giving the proper rest as needed. My yard is fenced in for protected play time. While inside your pet will be allowed to be a part of household for special time and then I have a separate area where your pet will be allowed to have quite time and rest in a crate or in a area without a crate as needed.

About: I've spent time with dogs and cats ever since I can remember.. walking my grandma's dogs and her neighbors dogs, learning to watch for signs of fear, aggression and anxiety, were just a few of the things I always found interesting and important. When I was a senior in high school, I even won an achievement for my vet academy class, where I learned to do a full body exam on dogs, check their body condition score, bathe them, clip their nails and gain a broad understanding of different zoonotic diseases that could be passed both canine to canine and canine to human. Before that, I volunteered almost every Sunday for two years at an animal rescue for dogs, including puppies and older dogs, some with abusive histories and PTSD. I am available on weekends, for as long as needed, as early and as late as requested. I am available for walks, feeding, bathing and over nights as well. In my client's homes, I care for their pets though constant observation and awareness. I will always make sure their pet(s) have enough food and water, clean bowls and cannot escape from their allowed radius. Most anything else I am happy to service as asked.

I have experience giving insulin, chemo, daily fluids, and many other medications. I love watching elderly animals and I can provide any needed medical care. I live and work in Maryland but I am happy to housesit and do drop-in visits and walks for anyone in Maryland, Virginia, or DC. My service area is wide and I don't mind driving a bit to get to your house. I have military base access and I'm happy to watch animals living on military bases in the area. I worked as a veterinary technician for over 5 years before I started working in human medicine. I worked at a veterinary hospital in Georgia for over five years while I completed college. I frequently petsat during high school and college and cared for several animals that were medically fragile. I enjoy bottle-feeding puppies and kittens in my free time. I love all types of animals and can provide advanced medical care to boarding animals. I have worked with all sizes, shapes, and types of animals at the vet clinic and have had many exotic animals of my own. I currently have 4 dogs, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs. My husband and I live with our 4 dogs in La Plata, Maryland. We have a large fenced in yard and plenty of space to play in. We have 2 doves in a birdcage at home but they will not interfere with the dogs. We are unable to host cats in our home due to an allergy but I am available to petsit for cats in your home. My husband watches our animals while I am away housesitting, they would not come with me to any of my bookings. I work about 15 hours out of the home each week but other than that I am always home. I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 birds, and 2 hedgehogs so taking care of animals is something I enjoy doing. I recently adopted 2 hedgehogs and I hope to keep growing my animal family in the future. I don't have kids and my husband also assists with animal care when needed (the dogs are my kids let's be honest). When I am boarding dogs at my home, they are one of my family and do the same things my dogs are doing. I take everyone outside frequently and I am always throwing a ball or playing tug of war with someone. If I'm napping, the dogs are on the bed with me napping too. Usually everyone is pretty happy to be lounging on the couch or following me around the house while I do my chores. I have a large fenced in yard that I prefer to use to exercise dogs and take them to potty. I am happy to walk dogs around the neighborhood if they need the extra exercise but I do require that the dog has a well fitting harness. Some dogs are master escape artists from their collars/harnesses (little houdinis), so if this is the case for your dog we will be playing inside my fenced in yard instead. My fence is about 6 feet tall so if your dog is capable of jumping higher than this please let me know when booking.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. About: I've taken care of a Cane Corse mastiff since I was 7, and I've taken care of French bulldogs since I was 7 as well. I can take care of big dogs or small dogs I currently work part time. I'm able to take your pets on walks, make time for playtime, feeding, and pay plenty attention to your pets. About: I’ve had experience since I was born but I’ve been more attentive and actually working to take care of them since 13. I’m 18 now, I have watched scared dogs, big dogs, friendly dogs, jumping dogs, sleepy dogs, small dogs, and same goes for cats! I have 4 dogs currently, and I freed them and take them out all the time, so extra dogs wouldn’t make any difference I would just do the same with them as I do with my dogs! They would have all permissions as my dogs! I will take them out, check them for tics or anything hurting them if they show it. Feed them obviously! And give them treats on certain occasions, or whenever you say I can give them. I take my time with them and love them with my whole heart! Your dog will be treated exactly how I treat mine!
