About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

“Yvonne was an amazing pet sitter! We had a new five month old puppy and a 2.5 week trip already planned. To add to it he got sick before we left. Yvonne gave him his medicine, a special diet, and took excellent care of him. She was home all day and he also found a wonderful friend in their dog Quincy. It made us feel so good when traveling to get updates and pictures throughout each day! Yvonne was a dentist and a is a dog lover so he came back to us with a beautiful coat and teeth. He showed off for her by losing five of his baby teeth while we were away and she saved them for us! It was such a invaluable experience to have our puppy in such good hands and so happy when we came home! I would highly recommend Yvonne as your pet sitter!”

About: My home is always filled with love and laughter over our dogs. Rex is 16, a ShihZhu, Jack is 10 yr Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Peppa is 8 yr Chihuahua. Good nutrition, comfort, care, love and exercise are the keys to our content and playful pets. I am currently retired, and I have time on my hands. Dogs are very important to me, I feel they know more than we think they know. To give a dog comfort, company in your time of need would be my pleasure. I will take your instruction on how you’d like me to structure walks, exercise, feeding and meds. The playing and affection part is included. I will help you keep you pet on their routine.
“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”
