My husband and I live in Kentucky and could not find a single sitter in our area with whom we felt comfortable leaving our senior dog Millie so we decided to look for a sitter in the area in which we were traveling. Our dog has several medical conditions that require many daily medications as well as a watchful eye in general due to her age and limited physical capabilities. The second I contacted Evvery and we started discussing Millie's needs, she immediately put me at ease and I knew I had found the one! About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was young, and since her passing I have routinely dogsit for friends and family. My childhood right-paw-man was a Beagle mix, and so I love to handle hounds who sniff first & think later (as well as distract them with Pupperoni…). I took care of her in her old age, so I have some experience in dropping medicine on the floor and pretending it’s a delectable morsel so dogs devour it! I also have handled plenty of bark-happy dogs, and like to bring treats on all my walks to incentivize more calmer adventures. I’ve taken care of dogs by making sure they’re well fed, they play, we go walking, and being able to give oral meds if they need. I have experience with epileptic dogs, senior dogs, medication, active supervision, etc. I recently transitions to dog walking/sitting full time to focus on building my own business, so I am now available on Monday through Friday, at 9am-5pm for drop ins/walks. I can stop by for 30-60 minutes to refill water, let out dogs, scoop litter or give medicine at any exact time. I can also easily kennel if needed.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times

I’m patient with puppies who are still learning and gentle with senior dogs who may need a slower pace or extra care. Clear communication and detailed updates are very important to me, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing. Pet care fits very naturally into my current routine. I have a very flexible schedule right now, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to walks, drop-ins, or extended care. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to accommodate last-minute requests and maintain consistent availability for recurring clients I’m very adaptable and comfortable following your pet’s specific routine to make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medication times, walk routines, or favorite play habits, I stick closely to what your pet is used to so everything feels consistent and stress-free. At this time, I do not offer boarding services in my home, as I have a cat who is not comfortable around other animals. However, I’m happy to provide walks, drop-in visits, and in-home care to make sure your fur babies receive plenty of attention, exercise, and love.

My husband and I live in Kentucky and could not find a single sitter in our area with whom we felt comfortable leaving our senior dog Millie so we decided to look for a sitter in the area in which we were traveling. Our dog has several medical conditions that require many daily medications as well as a watchful eye in general due to her age and limited physical capabilities.
