About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. About: I have taken care of pets since I was six years old, starting with a few fish. Then it developed into lizards, birds, hermit crabs and dogs. I love and care for all and make careful research to provide the best care. I’m home from college so my weekly routine is very flexible until the end of summer! Just in time for vacation! Personal preference is for afternoons but happy to work with anything. I keep alarms set at home for when to feed my pets so everyone knows when it’s breakfast and dinner time! Three times a day I will take my dog out for 30-minute to an hour long walk. As a 75lbs husky, my dog loved to pull on the leash but I was able to slowly train him out of that habit. First, he was able to accommodate us for many walks over the Thanksgiving holiday on relatively short notice. Then, he was so incredibly patient in getting to know our puppy. We did not realize how anxious our dog would be, as he is generally ok meeting people on walks. However, he is fearful when people come into our house and can growl and be reactive at times. Roy gave him the space he needed and didn’t force anything on our dog. He was patient with him and us and gave him lots of treats and gradually let our dog get to know him. It’s obvious that Roy has spent a lot of time around dogs and is adept at reading their body language.
