“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

“Sandra was great! Our dog was very happy to make many friends, play around with them in her big fenced yard. Sandra also sent us so many pictures and videos every day to keep us updated.”

“I usually don't leave reviews but I have to this time. Renee is amazing! We found ourselves needing a sitter for our 7 month old Golden Doodle for a week. I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with! After bringing him home I could tell she kept him on his routine and he is doing great. I can't recommend her enough!”

“My 14 y o dog has never been happier! Received pictures daily and he was smiling throughout. Best accommodations ever. The family is extremely nice and the boys even drew a picture of the happy dog. I’m already booking another date. So happy to have found them!”

“I had to leave my dog Thenji with Adrienne and Nick at very short notice. They were able to take her. It was so reassuring to know that she was being so lovingly cared for!”

“Terri and Chuck are so caring and so thorough with their fur guests. They welcomed our pup Sienna with open arms, and followed all of our instructions for care. Terri genuinely loves animals and it shows in the care she gives them. We loved the many pictures and video updates during our trip. Thank you Terri!”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats. We do tend to spoil them. I have lots of room for them to run and play in our fenced in yard. We walk them on a leash through our nearby cemetery. I currently work part time with Amazon flex. I will always be available if I have any pet jobs as Amazon flex is very flexible. I’m available for home and pet sitting. I have a fenced in back yard and currently own 1 miniature Daschund female 2 years old to help keep your furry friends playing or if needed I can use a crate with permission only.
“OH my goodness!!! Where do I start?!? John and his wife are absolutely AMAZING!!! My family and I went on a 7 day cruise, but they had my dog for 9 days and totally spoiled my dog as their own. They sent plenty of pictures and videos each day and were super communicative and are just wonderful people! When I picked up my dog, I could instantly tell that he was treated so well!! I could enjoy my vacation in peace and not worry!”

“Rachel and Jason were wonderful and accommodating hosts for our Aussie. I appreciate that they took the time for a meet-and-greet up front to make sure our dog would get along with theirs, and they were patient with her when she arrived very excited and barky. Also got to see another dog that they were hosting, and Rachel was super sweet with him. I'd go as far to say she's a dog whisperer! We received regular updates and photos to put our minds at ease. Would definitely leave our pup with them again.”

“Casey was awesome with Coda! She had a great time hanging out and running around with her dog Jojo. She’s already been sleeping most of the day just from all the fun she had there.”

“Chris and Gerry are so nice, loving, and kind. My girls felt at ease while staying with them. It helps that they only take one client at a time. If you are looking for someone to love your babies like their own, look no further. Definitely book with Chris and Gerry!”

“Jim and Mary were so wonderful with our dog! This was our first experience using Rover and we could not have found a more perfect fit for Zoey! They put our mind at ease all weekend with constant updates and pictures. They took care of Zoey as if she were their own and I feel so grateful to have found them for our family. I highly recommend Jim and Mary and look forward to using them for our next time away!”
“Emily was fantastic! She took the best care of Maya and Millie while we were on vacation. I told her upon meeting that I didn't need daily updates or photos, but to contact me if any issues came up. She gave perfect feedback, and I felt very confident that my dogs were having the best time on her expansive property. I would definitely book Emily again and I highly recommend her!”

“Excellent experience! Would definitely book again. They kept my pup super engaged, included him in their day- to-day activities, kept me updated…I could tell how much they treasure animals. Thank you the great care.”

“Dorian and family took our last minute request and our two dogs, a big puppy & a small old guy and acclimated them into their family for two nights. So very helpful & kind!”

“Gail was an excellent sitter to my pup! They sent daily photos and videos, and was very quick to respond. They even put together the cutest birthday for my dog since we were out of town and unable to celebrate. They ordered a cake and everything! Since moving to the DMV area 3 years ago, Gail is the best sitter we have found. You are in wonderful hands with Gail and we are looking forward to using them in the future!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with someone who wasn’t family and I would 100000000% rebook with Sam. Sam sent me pictures everyday while I was gone and gave me updates on how Blue was doing. She took such good care of my dog and if there was a 10 star option that would be my rating. 😊”

“Brembo had a great time with Rebecca and her kids!! He was happy when I picked him up and snoozed the rest of the day!! Will definitely come back for care for Brembo next time.”

“We were so lucky to have Ellen watch our dog, Ziva! She has separation anxiety, and we were nervous about leaving her with someone new in a new environment. Ellen was so reassuring from the start, promising to take good care of her. And she absolutely did. Her sweet dog, Cleopatra, was so friendly and helped Ziva feel comfortable right away. Our first impression was unforgettable- Ziva followed Ellen, which is rare for her with someone she doesn’t know. Ellen took extra care to comfort Ziva when she was anxious and sent us picture updates that really put our minds at ease. Because of Ellen, we were able to enjoy our event without constantly checking our phones. This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates. Ellen went above and beyond, and we could truly feel the difference in Ziva’s comfort. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Ellen, for caring for Ziva like she was your own!”

“Our dog Buddy seems to have had a great time. Chloe kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and texts. I’m sure he’ll want to come back soon. Thanks for taking such good care of him.”

About: I have experience in caring from all types of animals from hermit crabs, lizards and fish to cats, dogs rabbits horses and everything in between lol. We currently have a 7 year old golden retriever that we raised from 8 weeks old. And a 4 month old kitten we rescued and raised from 5 days old. I have completed with my dog puppy socialization and training courses. I have experience in Training, introductions, wound treatment, allergies, medication administration, exercise, pet message and bathing/grooming. I am currently a stay at home mother caring for and home schooling my 12 year old daughter so I have alot of availability and last minute availability. I have a big back unfenced in yard and screened in car port. Animals have full access to my house unless they have restrictions that would prevent that such as not allowed on furniture in clients home or eats things then they would for their safety be prevented from those areas. I am very respectful of others and following rules so if I would need to be in your home rest assured your home and fur baby would be in good hands.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.
“Poppy is well loved and cared for with Darshini and Joseph. She ls always excited seeing Darshini every morning, I love how comfortable Poppy has gotten with her new pet friends as well.”

“This was Jax's first time with Nat and Ally and it was fantastic. They kept me updated most of the day with very fun-loving photos of the other dogs playing...Jax was smiling in every photo or just chillin'. The icing on the cake was the family's son handing me a drawing of Jax's name in big beautiful letters. I will definitely be sending Jax here again! :)”

“Nova had a great time with Renee today. Renee was responsive, shared updates throughout the day, and made scheduling very easy. She was flexible and it truly felt like she treated Nova as her own. I will definitely use Renee and her husband again.”

“My girl Ozzy had a great time with Rachel and her poodles. She made her feel welcom and Ozzy quickly settled in with everyone. She was flexible with my schedule and even watched her an extra hour when my event ran over. I am greatful Rachel was available on short notice and would happily book with her again.”

“Rebecca's has been wonderful with our Baby Girl. I have never left Baby Girl with anyone due to her high level of separation anxiety but we are in Maryland for my husband's 50th High School Reunion so we didn't have a choice. I'm so glad that I chose Rebecca because she has been amazing. Baby Girl has had a good time at her house and went with Rebecca willingly Friday (her first day in doggy day care) which I knew Baby Girl sensed that Rebecca loved dogs and that she was safe with her sitter. Thank you Rebecca for putting us at ease and knowing that our fur baby is in good hands! I would highly recommend Rebecca and if the opportunity arises to book with Rebecca again we definitely will!”

About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.

“Dorian and family took our last minute request and our two dogs, a big puppy & a small old guy and acclimated them into their family for two nights. So very helpful & kind!”

“Casey was awesome with Coda! She had a great time hanging out and running around with her dog Jojo. She’s already been sleeping most of the day just from all the fun she had there.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with someone who wasn’t family and I would 100000000% rebook with Sam. Sam sent me pictures everyday while I was gone and gave me updates on how Blue was doing. She took such good care of my dog and if there was a 10 star option that would be my rating. 😊”

“Carmen and her husband were exceptional caretakers of our pup, are incredibly nice, and were very communicative and flexible. Since they have a fenced-in yard, it made for a great environment for our pup’s extended stay. I would 100% recommend them.”

“Excellent experience! Would definitely book again. They kept my pup super engaged, included him in their day- to-day activities, kept me updated…I could tell how much they treasure animals. Thank you the great care.”

“Matt was super easy to work with and took good care of our Aussie, who was hesitant to leave him when we went to pick her up! It’s so nice to find a dog sitter who works from home like we do. Highly recommend Matt.”
