About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and are well-experienced dog owners. My husband, especially, has owned dogs of all different breeds, to include champion Russian Wolfhounds (his mom used to show dogs!). We have 3 young kids at the moment, all who love to pet and care for animals, espeically dogs, and will show them so much love and affection! We are responsible and will make sure pets are well taken care of and dogs are walked, fed and have a safe house to live in while they are away from their owners. My husband and I both work from home full-time, so someine is always at home to watch over your pet and take them for walks when needed. We may have to step out for a couple hours in the evening to take kids to activities, but we are always home by bedtime/well before bedtime. We have a fenced yard, and can crate the dog if needed. However, if your dog is comfortable, they can also sleep on a dog bed in our kids' room, our room, or really wherever they choose in the house. For dog walking services, both my husband and I will make sure we enter the house as instructed and lock the door when we leave. We both like to run, so are also happy to take your dog on a run if they have the energy!

“I don’t think we could have asked for a better person than Dana to give our 12 year old dog Maggie so much love, attention, exercise, and new experiences for the 5 days she (and Patrick) had her! She got to eat food out of puzzle dishes and got lots of frozen treats including yogurt which she loved! Lots of photos and updates every day were truly wonderful to see. Maggie didn’t beg for food during their meals, nor did she whine to get something like she does at home. Sorry Dana she whined some after we got home but not too bad. A million thanks to Dana and Patrick for being such great caregivers.”

Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

She did everything that I asked of her, and it was obvious to me that Jack (the cat) was very well cared for. Nuha managed his medications as well as his special food. About: While I haven't worked professionally in pet care, I've had animals throughout my entire adulthood. I currently share my home with a senior cat and a high-energy medium-sized dog, so I'm comfortable with pets at very different life stages — from playful and active to calm and gentle. I work part-time and study from home most of the week, so my schedule is flexible. Aside from Tuesday mornings, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I'm typically able to spend 30 minutes to an hour per walk or drop-in, giving pets plenty of one-on-one attention. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog who LOVES to play. I do have a senior cat but she hangs out downstairs which is gated off and doesn’t have any interest in socializing with dogs. You can count on plenty of photo and video updates throughout our time together, so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Mary went above and beyond for caring for my three cats. I had booked four visits for my cats. Unfortunately, there was a serious issue in my apartment building during that time. Residents and their pets needed to be evacuated. Mary ended up having to bring my cats to a boarding facility. She put them all in their crates, walked up and down eight flights of stairs in my building, put them in her car, drove them, and then admitted them to the chosen boarding facility. Through it all, Mary maintained constant communication and care regarding the well being of my cats. I would highly recommend Mary as a petsitter for your pets!! About: I’ve cared for many of my own dogs & dogs of friends, gf’s, etc. since the late 1980s. I’m a long time dog owner and dog lover, who is also a professional and former small business owner - who is mature, responsible, and serious. On the professional side, I have a combination of organizational/business management and basic sales/marketing & customer service training. I own a single family home with a large yard. My “main job” is in tech and I work from home nearly every day. I’m minutes away from a large park as well. The pets (and people) under my care receive a lot of loving attention in a safe, higher end neighborhood. I have a fenced yard backing up to a very serene, wooded/natural setting with tons of trees. If needed, my home has specific crates/cages and multiple rooms, depending on what the circumstances require. However, usually most pets are allowed to roam freely throughout most of the house and yard, as long as they do not conflict with or disrupt others.

About: I have taken care of dogs (during the day and overnight stays) ranging from 6 months to over two years. In addition to my pet sitting experiences, I have volunteered at two humane societies and specialized with the dogs. Before interacting with the dogs at the humane societies, I completed 22.5 hours of formal training, background security checks, and the Fear Free Shelter Program Core Modules. My responsibilities as a volunteer were canine enrichment activities (including making toys and interactions with dogs), recording behavioral observations, and canine handling onsite and offsite. I also enjoy running, so if your dog is up for that, they are more than welcome to join! I frequent run clubs with dogs because I love being around them and I don't have the finances to take care of my own right now (I am a graduate student).
