I’ve learned that they are animals that really do expect the utmost respect and attention, which I both love and admire. They 100% know their worth and that’s very admirable. I haven’t pet sit cats before, but I’ve been to a lot of cat cuddling places, cat cafes, and cat shelters that it’s to the point where I’d love to pet sit, do drop ins, etc to help out and get to learn more about the different personalities of cats.

We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

About: We’ve had dogs as long as we both can remember and have always felt comfortable around any breed or size. Many friends and family have always called upon us when their pet is in need of some love and care and we have so much to go around. Our pups unfortunately passed away in 2020 & 2022 and we’ve been empty nesters since. Rover has been a way for us to continue experiencing the love that pups have to give, and has really helped us by providing some therapeutic support throughout our times of grief. About: Hi! I'm Doris. I have had animals my whole life. I raised my children on a farm where we had dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens and goats. Now I live on an 9 acre farm in Waldorf with rabbits, 2 dogs and chickens. I have experience with all ages of dogs. I used to breed yorkies and I have had many senior dogs. I am home full time and I very rarely leave the house. I live on an 9 acre farm so your pup will have so much room to run! I can keep them leashed if you prefer and I will love to walk them! I have a 9 year old toy poodle and a 5 year old English Springer Spaniel. Both are very friendly, calm dogs that are very socialized. I also have a beautiful black cat that is mostly outdoors.

About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

I am an animal lover through and through and, as a freelancer new to the Bay Area, I’d love to better utilize my flexibility by being a compassionate resource to those pups who need some extra love, attention, support, exercise or fresh air when you’re simply not as available as you wish you could be. She did her very best and took them earlier than planned to help us make our flight. My Lab had also recently had surgery between the time I booked and dropped off which then required him to take medication and to be watched extra since he really doesn’t like the bandage and hates the cone.
