“Gisel and her family took great care of my girl Kola. Kola had a case of severely itchy paws pop up the day before we were set to leave town. I was able to get some meds from the vet before we left. I let Gisel know what was going on with Kola, as she was licking and chewing her paws and they were very red. I kept socks on her paws and gave her Benadryl in between the meds from the vet. Gisel also kept this up for the four days Kola stayed with her family. I was so thankful and appreciative of the extra care Gisel and her family gave Kola. Kola’s itchy paws popped up so last minute and Gisel assured me she would take great care of her and she did just that! I would definitely use Gisel again for Kola!”

“Elise was very patient with my cat, which was needed as my cat does not care for strangers and is extremely slow to tolerate their presence. My cat is extremely vocal about her boundaries, and seems to have done nothing but hiss and begrudgingly show herself when Elise fed her her wet food. I greatly appreciated that Elise would still hang out after feeding and scooping the litter box, to give my cat an opportunity to discover that Elise could be a friend. I also loved that Elise told my cat good-bye every day when she left: I do this too, and it’s particularly kind when the cat has done nothing but hiss at you.”

Two of my dogs have their intermediate trick titles and also compete and do well in agility. The third is an older deaf rescue. I am experienced with handling and also training dogs. During the summer, I have worked with a local company for 8 years for dog walking as well as dog/cat sitting for vacation clients. “My husband & I were ever so grateful to have our dog, Star, board with Rich. We had never been away from her for 2 weeks before and we hated the idea of leaving her in a cold, cinder-block kennel. Rich provided a warm, friendly home where we could trust that Star enjoyed her stay. We were happy to get updates and pictures of Star throughout our vacation. Even though these made us miss her all the more, we were happy to know she was being cared for with love. We will definitely contact Rich the next time we need to board Star.”
