We were really apprehensive about leaving her alone for 11 days and this was a last minute request as we had planned to board her but later realized we just couldn’t put her through that. Melanie was patient with her and won her affection even though Lily is a bit stand off ish. We loved the notices twice a day when she was starting and finishing her visits and the cute pictures helped to ease our mind . It was also very helpful that there was someone in our home and could alert us to any problems, which we’re happy to say there weren’t any. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation to Yellowstone knowing that Lily was in good hands. You can tell Melanie loves animals and we trusted her explicitly. Sure enough, he provided. I got to love that cat for 17 years before she passed. In that timeframe i rescued several other cats too! About: I have always had pets in life (dogs, cats, rabbit, hamsters, fish) and even adopted a dog to live with me when I was in college. The majority of my experience is with dogs and it spans all sizes and breads (from an 8-pound Maltese to a 70+ pound American Staffordshire Terrier). Over the last few years, I have worked with several animal shelters and opened my house to foster pets in need. During this time I have worked to train puppies and taken care of pets that required special attention due to illnesses. About: I have two dogs at my house. I have walked dogs growing up(one tiny and one bigger) and cared for my neighbors dogs when they are away. I work from 8:30-12 Monday-Thursday. On the weekends I usually work longer days from 8:30-6/7pm. I wake up early to workout so early mornings work for me. Monday - Thursday afternoons work as well! I am friendly and kind to every dog.
