“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. She has a good process for drop off and getting to know our dog, understanding her needs, feeding, etc. and meeting other dogs. About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.
“Morgan was FANTASTIC! I had never left my cat with anyone except my best friend and was extremely nervous about traveling for the holidays after she moved away. Morgan's expertise and care made it possible for my girl to stay in her comfort zone, and for me to be with family without severe anxiety. He communicated clearly and often, gave me great updates (and photos!), and was the perfect mix of professional and personable. He took plenty of time with her even when he came out on Christmas Day. He clearly understood cat psychology and Cleo adored him for it (I'm a little shocked because she does not typically warm up to people that quickly at all!). “We needed someone to look after our dog Archie for the day while we went to an event. We were going for the whole day and wouldn't be returning until the eveing so we didn't want to leave Archie alone for that long. Our usual dog sitter wasn't available on that day so I contacted Brian and another pet sitter on Rover to see if either one could look after him instead. It was a bit last minute (3 days notice) which was my fault for not trying to sort something sooner. The other person didn't even respond to my enquiry but Brian immediately did and said he was available. I made the necessary booking arrangements and Brian was felixable with drop off and pick up times if we needed to nudge them in case of traffic or whatever (we were an hour away). On the day we got sent pictures of Archie and I could see he was having a good time and felt comfortable with Brian in his home and with his dogs. I can definitely recommend Brian to anyone looking for a dog sitter and was so thankful he was able to take Archie at short notice. Communication was prompt and the pictures he sent reassured us that Archie was doing well. Thank you Brian!”

About: I get along with animals pretty naturally. I do a lot of sitting for family and friends when they go on vacation. Giving love and care to your fur baby takes a lot of time and the DMV has a lot of traffic. It takes a village! I can pop in or stay over to make sure all physical and emotional needs are taken care of. I am a fitness instructor. My schedule changes and is flexible as long as I am given notice and clear instructions. I do not work full time. I do not have a fenced in yard, but can keep a crate. It is a townhouse so limited space, but plenty of parks and areas to walk your fur baby.

“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior.
