“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”

“As a first time Rover client, my husband and I were very hesitant to leave our big boy with "anybody" not knowing if they would treat him like we do...like family! Well, *insert* Gio and Vanessa! They are not just "anybody" they are EVERYTHING!!!! From scheduling a meet up to dropping Zulu off, this whole experience with Rover, in particular, Gio and Vanessa, was so so amazing. Gio is who my husband and I met first, and we instantly clicked. He is warm, inviting, professional, and his love for animals is very apparent. We bought our little Big guy with us and even he fell asleep, peacefully, as we spoke about our likes and dislikes and how we parent Zulu. Gio was very upfront about how their system runs at their house, and because I'm a planner who also loves structure, so listening to Gio talk about how the drop off, daily videos, feedings, walks, interactions, and pickup would happen was like music to my ears. After our first meet up, we made sure to set the family up for success with Zulu and just like Gio said, things were so super smooth. He stuck to his word and shared daily videos and we chatted through Whats App when needed. He and his family showed Zulu kindness and love and we will NEVER forget that. For our first experience with leaving our furbaby in the care of who started out as a stranger, only to end this whole experience feeling like we left our guy with a home filled with love, we have to admit Gio and Vanessa are EXACTLY who you would want to care for your furbaby...no matter the size. Please don't hesitate to give them a try. It's a pup care heaven! We are totally satisfied and might I add, a bit spoiled by goodness to our furbaby! Go ahead, click on their page!! About: Cats are animals I’ve always wanted to take care of and be friends with. I’ve learned that they are animals that really do expect the utmost respect and attention, which I both love and admire. They 100% know their worth and that’s very admirable. I haven’t pet sit cats before, but I’ve been to a lot of cat cuddling places, cat cafes, and cat shelters that it’s to the point where I’d love to pet sit, do drop ins, etc to help out and get to learn more about the different personalities of cats.

About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

“Morgan was FANTASTIC! I had never left my cat with anyone except my best friend and was extremely nervous about traveling for the holidays after she moved away. Morgan's expertise and care made it possible for my girl to stay in her comfort zone, and for me to be with family without severe anxiety. He communicated clearly and often, gave me great updates (and photos!), and was the perfect mix of professional and personable. He took plenty of time with her even when he came out on Christmas Day. He clearly understood cat psychology and Cleo adored him for it (I'm a little shocked because she does not typically warm up to people that quickly at all!). About: Hi! I'm Doris. I have had animals my whole life. I raised my children on a farm where we had dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens and goats. Now I live on an 9 acre farm in Waldorf with rabbits, 2 dogs and chickens. I have experience with all ages of dogs. I used to breed yorkies and I have had many senior dogs. I am home full time and I very rarely leave the house. I live on an 9 acre farm so your pup will have so much room to run! I can keep them leashed if you prefer and I will love to walk them! I have a 9 year old toy poodle and a 5 year old English Springer Spaniel. Both are very friendly, calm dogs that are very socialized. I also have a beautiful black cat that is mostly outdoors.
“We were visiting Tifton, GA for a few days and wanted to find a sitter where our 2 year old active black lab could run and play and enjoy the day while we were sight-seeing. I requested the stay the day before and Michelle responded to my request within 15 minutes! Even though Michelle was 30 miles away from where we were staying, it was worth the travel to have a family so loving and attentive to Gus! Their home was perfect for Gus! Big wide open space to run, another friendly dog, Roscoe, to play with, and a dog-friendly home that met all his needs. If we are in this area again, we will definitely contact Michelle!!”

About: We’ve had dogs as long as we both can remember and have always felt comfortable around any breed or size. Many friends and family have always called upon us when their pet is in need of some love and care and we have so much to go around. Our pups unfortunately passed away in 2020 & 2022 and we’ve been empty nesters since. Rover has been a way for us to continue experiencing the love that pups have to give, and has really helped us by providing some therapeutic support throughout our times of grief. We both currently work from home, so are open to any and all schedules. We understand that life has many variables and our pets lives are no different. About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. “As a first time Rover client, my husband and I were very hesitant to leave our big boy with "anybody" not knowing if they would treat him like we do...like family! Well, *insert* Gio and Vanessa! They are not just "anybody" they are EVERYTHING!!!! From scheduling a meet up to dropping Zulu off, this whole experience with Rover, in particular, Gio and Vanessa, was so so amazing. Gio is who my husband and I met first, and we instantly clicked. He is warm, inviting, professional, and his love for animals is very apparent. We bought our little Big guy with us and even he fell asleep, peacefully, as we spoke about our likes and dislikes and how we parent Zulu. Gio was very upfront about how their system runs at their house, and because I'm a planner who also loves structure, so listening to Gio talk about how the drop off, daily videos, feedings, walks, interactions, and pickup would happen was like music to my ears. After our first meet up, we made sure to set the family up for success with Zulu and just like Gio said, things were so super smooth. He stuck to his word and shared daily videos and we chatted through Whats App when needed. He and his family showed Zulu kindness and love and we will NEVER forget that. For our first experience with leaving our furbaby in the care of who started out as a stranger, only to end this whole experience feeling like we left our guy with a home filled with love, we have to admit Gio and Vanessa are EXACTLY who you would want to care for your furbaby...no matter the size. Please don't hesitate to give them a try. It's a pup care heaven! We are totally satisfied and might I add, a bit spoiled by goodness to our furbaby! Go ahead, click on their page!! They were interested in his routines and most importantly the do's and don'ts so Gucci didn't pick up any bad habits. Next the drop off. They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. She took to her and this is not easy for her because she has never been away from us. Ashley took great care of her and sent updates and pictures often.
