Besides being a good sitter for our fearful pup, Thomas was also very flexible and responsive. We had booked him so last minute, and we couldn’t get home in time due to the recent snow storm. As anxious as we were about these problems, Thomas was great and alleviated a lot of our stress by accepting and kindly taking care of our pup for even longer than intended. Highly recommend! About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.
About: I’ve been walking dogs for over 10 years. Whichever base I’m assigned to, I always volunteer at an animal shelter or an animal hotel. I love early morning runs with my own fur baby, it would be a pleasure to have your pup join us. I can even make time for a fun game of fetch. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) About: I grew up with a Golden Retriever and a Boxer, along with a grumpy cat. At present, we have Kody (a red fox Labrador) and Alfie (a mix of various breeds). I’ve been walking, loving, and feeding dogs all my life. Other areas of my experience include walking and dog-sitting for my neighbors' dogs for about 5 years. During COVID, my family started fostering various types of dogs, which has undoubtedly increased my experience with a diverse range of breeds and ages. While I have the most experience with larger dogs over 60 pounds, I also love my smaller furry friends! My only regular commitment is attending virtual classes in the evenings, so outside of that, your pets are my main priority. They go outside again around noon, get another walk in the afternoon around 3–4 p.m., eat dinner around 7:00 p.m., and go out again before a final walk around 11:00 p.m. Throughout the day, I spend time playing with them and providing enrichment to keep them happy and mentally stimulated. About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. I take my time building trust, especially with shy or anxious pets (and cats who like to take their time warming up). I’m mindful about safety - secure doors, leashes, clean spaces, and making sure your pet is always comfortable. I’ll also send thoughtful updates and photos so you feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Whether your pet wants playtime, a walk, or just a cozy presence nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are.

“So this is the first time I used Rover and I couldn’t be more happy Erica and Franklin were the best! They made me feel very comfortable by having a visit before my vacation so that I was able to meet them and see their home and that helped to know it was a perfect fit. They were in constant communication answering text anytime and sending pictures that will of the good times they were having with my pit. I give them credit because some people here that I have a pitbull and get totally turned off and feel some kind of way, but they were completely open to him and invited him in like one of the family. At the meet and greet she was very thorough with her questions about the cat and dog and making sure all their needs were met. It felt like she has an understanding about the types of issues that could arise and how to deal with them. Very organized. Very attentive, warm loving people. I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I am done searching for Rover people… will definitely use Marylee again. Excellent!!”

“Bryn took such wonderful care of Leo over the weekend—we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Leo had an amazing time with her and absolutely loved spending time with her dog, Kepler. It was clear he felt comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. In fact, Leo enjoyed his stay so much that he didn’t even want to come back home! That says everything about how great Bryn is. If there were more than 5 stars, we would gladly give them to her. We will 100% be booking with Bryn again in the future. “Andrea is the perfect sitter! I appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times and her very calm, personable and welcoming demeanor. Sarge loved being at her house and was already exploring the house by the time I left. Andrea made sure he had all the comforts of home and even got him to sleep in a dog bed that she provided. When I picked him up, he was very content and in no hurry to go home. I have already booked another stay, as I know Sarge will be in good care with Andrea.”
