“I truly enjoyed my experience with Gio and Vanessa. They scheduled a meet-and-greet before the actual dog-sitting weekend, and from the very first meeting everything was straightforward and well organized. We went on a walk with Zuko, and Gio walked me through the steps that he and Vanessa take during the stay. Everything was very thorough, and I didn't feel rushed I was able to ask all my questions comfortably. Drop-off for the weekend was super easy. Zuko was already familiar with Gio, and I brought along all the things that help him feel comfortable and at home. I really appreciated that right after drop-off, Gio took Zuko on a walk around the neighborhood to help him get familiar with the surroundings and reduce anxiety. I thought that was a great strategy, and it definitely helped Zuko ease into his stay. Throughout the weekend, they kept me updated with pictures and progress updates, which I really appreciated. I had mentioned that Zuko is usually very calm during the day, and based on the updates and how pickup went, everything matched perfectly. Pickup was just as easy. I pulled up, Zuko happily jumped into the car, and he was clearly comfortable and happy with Gio as well. Overall, this was a very easy and positive experience. I appreciate them accommodating a last-minute booking. Thank you both!”

About: Cats are animals I’ve always wanted to take care of and be friends with. I’ve learned that they are animals that really do expect the utmost respect and attention, which I both love and admire. They 100% know their worth and that’s very admirable. I haven’t pet sit cats before, but I’ve been to a lot of cat cuddling places, cat cafes, and cat shelters that it’s to the point where I’d love to pet sit, do drop ins, etc to help out and get to learn more about the different personalities of cats.

I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

About: We’ve had dogs as long as we both can remember and have always felt comfortable around any breed or size. Many friends and family have always called upon us when their pet is in need of some love and care and we have so much to go around. Our pups unfortunately passed away in 2020 & 2022 and we’ve been empty nesters since. Rover has been a way for us to continue experiencing the love that pups have to give, and has really helped us by providing some therapeutic support throughout our times of grief. We both currently work from home, so are open to any and all schedules. We understand that life has many variables and our pets lives are no different. “I only have great things to say about Linda! She has been incredibly helpful and has gone above and beyond. She is incredibly flexible, has come to walk my dogs at various hours of the day (late evenings sometimes too, which has been great!), and has been available on short notice as well. I have 3 dogs, of which, two have health issues. One has had recent ortho surgery and requires a lot of assistance/medication. The other has heart/blood pressure issues and requires medication/supervision as well. The third does not have health issues, but has behavioral issues and is very stand offish. Despite this, Linda has not only taken great care of them, but the dogs love her! She has also brought in my trash cans, my mail, and picks up dirty dog food bowls to soak in the sink while I am away. She always keeps me updated with detailed messages and photos. She is gentle and great with the animals. I trust her 100% and that is saying a lot as I am VERY particular when it comes to my babies!”

“Steven is fantastic. I had a family emergency and the person who normally walked Tully was unavailable. Contacted Steve and he came right away for a meet and greet. My dog is a rescue so he doesn’t always do well with strangers but he was so happy with Steve right away. Steve asked if he could take Tully on a short introductory walk to make sure they were a good match which made me much more comfortable. Definitely would recommend Steve! Amazing with both families and fur babies!”
About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

About: Hello there! My name is Romon, you can also call me Griz. I suppose my friends see me as the momma or papa bear of the group haha. Anyway I've been taking care of my friend's, family's, and of course personal 'furry best friends'. I have a background in personal training and fitness. Never really ran into a dog that didn't like or respect me at least after the first couple treats or games I was able to play with them. Recently lost two friends one moved away the other, Sasha; a poodle mix of 12 years, passed away I was luckily able to spend more time with her during 2020 before she had to go. Her memories are still with me and I know many are back to work and wish they could spend more time with their newest pups. We can work together to make sure they're, well taken care of, and I just wanted to help out and lessen the load of watching over these wonderful epitomes of joy and energy. I've walked, sitted, played with, slept besides, and even cleaned up after all sorts of dogs from puppyhood to very senior dogs, 10lbs to 100+lbs believe it or not, can't seem to get a break from them, which I don't mind! Lastly I hope to get to know your fuzzy yet amazing family members on a professional and even better, personal level. I have access and experience to great doggy parks equipped with fencing and great walking areas, and lots of car space for those longer trips or incase of an emergency where I have to safely transfer your fluffy children quickly. “I truly enjoyed my experience with Gio and Vanessa. They scheduled a meet-and-greet before the actual dog-sitting weekend, and from the very first meeting everything was straightforward and well organized. We went on a walk with Zuko, and Gio walked me through the steps that he and Vanessa take during the stay. Everything was very thorough, and I didn't feel rushed I was able to ask all my questions comfortably. Drop-off for the weekend was super easy. Zuko was already familiar with Gio, and I brought along all the things that help him feel comfortable and at home. I really appreciated that right after drop-off, Gio took Zuko on a walk around the neighborhood to help him get familiar with the surroundings and reduce anxiety. I thought that was a great strategy, and it definitely helped Zuko ease into his stay. Throughout the weekend, they kept me updated with pictures and progress updates, which I really appreciated. I had mentioned that Zuko is usually very calm during the day, and based on the updates and how pickup went, everything matched perfectly. Pickup was just as easy. I pulled up, Zuko happily jumped into the car, and he was clearly comfortable and happy with Gio as well. Overall, this was a very easy and positive experience. I appreciate them accommodating a last-minute booking. Thank you both!”

Ruben has clear markers for anxiety, so when we picked him up we were on the look out to see if he'd been stressed. Ruben was happy to see us, but also clearly very happy and comfortable with Emanuel. Back at home Ruben is happy and is not showing any of his anxiety markers, indicating to me that he felt safe and comfortable while we were away. He also came back freshly bathed and his bed had been cleaned too.”

“As always, Branden did a wonderful job with my dog. Sage is older and has a new medical condition, so I was naturally a little nervous about leaving her. Branden was incredibly attentive—carefully monitoring her symptoms, making sure she received her medications on time, and keeping me updated on how she was doing. He even gave her a bath after noticing snow melt on her paws from their walk, which I really appreciated. I always feel at ease leaving Sage because I know she’s in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend!”
