“I highly recommend Angie and her dog-loving family! Our dog has never come home from a week at "camp" happier (or more exhausted). They treated Flynn like one of the family from the moment he arrived. He absolutely loved playing with the kids and the other dogs, and he was very intrigued by the chickens. Flynn got plenty of exercise in their spacious yard, played lots and lots of ball, got plenty of pats and love, and even slept on the bed with the kids. Angie sent plenty of pictures and updates reassuring us that our anxious pup was settling in well. We will be return customers for sure!”

I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. I can walk, feed, water, scrub bowls, medicate (comfortable administering oral meds to dogs and cats), clean up as needed, play with and generally whatever is needed to keep your pet on a regular schedule. We have 2 friendly smaller dogs and a dog door & ramp straight out to the fenced backyard. The house is one level with only 1 step in and out. There are crates set up in multiple locations and there are ways to separate animals safely if ever needed. Someone is home all day every day, pets are never kept without heat or AC.

About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! I can supply treats (with your approval) and can take them to parks and other places for walks, as I have a car and license. I'm dedicated to making sure your animal is as happy as can be :-)

“Shadid is amazing! It was my first time using Rover and I was nervous about leaving my puppy, Rudy, with someone else. From the moment we met Shadid, she was great with Rudy. I was concerned about Rudy getting anxious and being difficult to manage. I realized quickly that I had nothing to worry about with Shadid. Rudy was immediately comfortable with her. I don’t think he even noticed me leave because he was so excited to hang out with Shadid & Pebbles all day. Throughout the day, I received pictures of Rudy at the park and playing. It felt great knowing that Rudy was in good hands and having an amazing day. When I picked Rudy up, he was sad to leave! Rudy can be challenging and usually takes a while to warm up to people, so I was extremely impressed by Shadid’s ability to care for dogs. “Huey took such great care of my pupper Winky, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Winky can be super shy at first, so I always get nervous leaving him with someone new, but he got comfortable with Huey so quickly it was amazing! She has two super friendly dogs of her own(a little bichon and a corgi), and they got along so well with Winky which is awesome. She also sent me updates and photos during the stay and it looked like he was completely relaxed and having the best time. I also added on grooming during his stay, since she’s also a home based groomer and did such an amazing job(she told me she has 20 years of grooming experience!!) Winky came home looking so clean and adorable with the cutest haircut! You can really tell she has a ton of experience with dogs and genuinely cares about them. About: As a recently graduated high school student, I’ve taken part in numerous veterinary classes, shelter start-up programs, and many other events that advance my experience with dogs and other animals alike. To be transparent, I am looking to make a bit of money before college starts and would love to help others in need with their furry friends :)) My availability remains open all day, with 3 other people in my house. I have practice from 7-9 pm but that would be the only time I’d be away from the house. I am extremely flexible and am more than happy to bend availability for the benefit of your pets! I have a 2 acre fenced in back yard, along with two other very friendly dogs (labradors aged 8 and 12) who are more than willing to play. I am also more than happy with allowing animals on furniture if you’d like. Treats, of course, will be provided and at the ready.
“Ebot responded to my booking request quickly & was also very polite with his communications. Jäger didn’t finish his two days booked with him. I don’t think it was a great fit for Jäger & think ebot would do best caring for dogs who don’t mind being crated and are smaller in size who also don’t mind being left. Apparently my dog displayed anxious behaviors he has never displayed before in his 4 years of rover daycares but I think it just wasn’t the best fit. Love ebot’s energy & personality though & wish him the best of luck! I think he’ll do great with other pups”

They needs lots of love, attention and constant care. Because of my experience, I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing and caring for your dog. Our schedule is very flexible so it's easy for us to be there for your dog. We go on several walks a day, giving them a chance to go potty and enjoy playing with them to make sure they feel loved and secure while they're with us. Because we live on a 600 acre property, safety is our top priority. When we are taking walks with your dog, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure your dog is safe. You can bring your dog's favorite toys or blankets, however we have everything your dog would need to feel at home with us. I wash everything after each visit to make sure all of our things are clean for the next fur baby. We have food and water bowls, toys, beds, blankets, crates and even leashes. We want to make it as convenient as possible for you while ensuring your dog is comfortable with us.

I am open most days, as I homeschool my child. Saturday afternoons are usually reserved for personal time but I am available in the morning and night. They treated Flynn like one of the family from the moment he arrived. He absolutely loved playing with the kids and the other dogs, and he was very intrigued by the chickens. Flynn got plenty of exercise in their spacious yard, played lots and lots of ball, got plenty of pats and love, and even slept on the bed with the kids. I was sent updates and photos throughout my time away. Her yard is crazy big and beautiful and fenced in. My dog LOVED it! She was able to accommodate my daughter’s cat at the same time last minute. I felt so secure knowing they were being well taken care of while I was gone. Cat had her little cat tower and pictures of the cat by the glass door able to look outside and see everything. I always worry leaving Ralphie with a new Rover. He has been described as “extra” and needs a lot of attention/human presence. Within an hour of dropping him off, I got a note that he is settling in fine with a picture of him cozied up with the family and this eased my mind immensely. They were very responsive when I reached out and had everything ready to go when I picked him up. The biggest testament, however, is Ralphie’s behavior on the drive home. If let’s me know if he didn’t like his stay somewhere, but leaving Natalia and Edward he was calm and well behaved. We had some travel issues and schedule delays, and Sharon was incredibly flexible. We highly recommend Sharon and will continue using her as our first choice for Freeda's care when we're out of town!”
About: I have cared for all sorts of animals from Raccoons to horses over the past 50 years. I have run my own horse farm and had dogs and cats along the way. I know the signs of distress, can handle emergencies, administer medications and enjoy being with and caring for animals. I have nursed our older fur-babies and understand the needs of seniors. We also understand and work with positive reinforcement training with our animals, which they find very fun to engage with. Several years ago, we lost our large (great pyrenees cross) at nearly 17 years old! Our other dog, Winnie, recently passed away and I miss her company, as my kids are grown and my "baby" is off at college. and I thought Rover might be a way to be a win-win. I sold our horse farm about 7 years ago, and our remaining horses live at a stable nearby. I do have one house cat that lives with me. We live on 2 fenced in acres which back up to the Magruder Branch Trail. Along with walks along the street, we can also take your dog on the trail for lots of sniffs and sounds. We will feed and medicate them as requested. My husband is retired, I am semi retired and my oldest son has graduated, so someone is almost always in the house to let your dog in and out, play and walk as needed. To ensure the safety and compatibility of our pets and yours, we require a "meet and greet" prior to agreeing to host your dog. I am unable to accommodate dogs who are not house trained or who are aggressive or destructive. I currently work part time with my horses 10 minutes away. My husband has early onset dementia and now lives in assisted living. I have a 19 year old son who attends UCLA and will be home for the summer. We both love to hike and have trails right behind our 2 acre property. I am home a lot during the day (and night) and would love to play, walk and snuggle with your dog! Our 2 acre yard is completely fenced. We have had dogs safely secured for years. Our animals are family, and they generally have run of the house. Our cat likes to sleep on the beds, but we tend to let the dogs sleep on the dog bed, floor or couch of their choosing. There are no stairs to get out to the yard, so it is easy access for an older dog. I gave away all of Winnie's dog toys when she passed away so you would need to bring some for your dog during your stay. But we would not have to worry about any doggie arguments! My home is a non-smoking household. I am able to administer medications such as pills, eye ointments, IM and subQ injections, etc. I also have training in T-touch and Positive Reinforcement training.
