About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I begged my mom to get me a dog around that time as well. I promised her I would take care of the dog and do all I needed to do. With that being said I became a pet owner and trained my dog all by myself . From the simple commands, and crate training. I love to treat my current dog(Chloe) like a baby. From cuddles, long walks, nice tasty treats and all the love I can possibly give her. Sometimes I do travel and when I do its hard to find someone to keep Chloe. It was stressful for us to leave our fur baby behind, but Xan relieved so much anxiety. She successfully pilled our cat each day which is no small feat. Add to that, my dad accidentally let our other cat outside and she was lost for 4 days. Xan was so kind in helping my father (who was embarrassed and anxious) look for the missing cat then also sent photos and updates when the missing cat came home. Her communication and kindness was outstanding from the first meeting. Heck, she’s also a good human. About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. Prior to beginning work through Rover, I have several years of experience caring for cats and dogs for a variety of friends, family, and neighbors including everything from drop-in visits and dog walking to full-time house/petsitting. Outside of my petsitting duties, I am a PhD chemist working hard to make the battery in your phone last longer and your electric car drive further. My wife and I moved to the Silver Spring area in 2024 for her job as a television producer and I am in the process of establishing myself in the DMV research community. Availability: Except in special cases, I am available for booking at any time of day, any day of the week. I am happy to provide everything from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays. About: Dogs have been in our lives since childhood, and as pup parents ourselves, we understand how hard it can be to find a trusting person to leave your pup with in your times of need. As previous owners of an energetic dog [Cesar], and a foster dog [Argo], we are prepared for the active lifestyle required to care for some dogs. Similarly, we have experience with more relaxed dogs that just enjoy being pet and pampered. We currently serve as pet sitters for our friends who need dog sitting from time to time. I am open to communicating with you as much or as little as you'd like while your pet is with us. Don't worry, I'm that Dog Mom that Facetime's her pup so there's no shame! Currently working from home two days a week, I’d love to have a furry co-worker join me! My work is primarily centered around hosting meetings, and I’m probably the only person on camera without a pet! I have an open home with easy access to the backyard or front of the house for potty breaks. I can crate your dog if requested or let them roam around my baby-proofed home! There are gates and locks EVERYWHERE!
About: Hi! My name is Renee and I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I grew up in a household with many different kinds of pets including dogs, rodents, and reptiles. I currently own two small dogs, Shih Tzu and Maltese mixes, one is 13 and the other is 3. I love all animals and am comfortable with them all. I’m currently unemployed so I have tons of time to care for and play with your furry friends! I’m mostly available on weekends as I have responsibilities weekdays, but I’m very flexible!
