“I have never felt more comfortable with leaving my precious Corgi, Lugnut, than with Jim and Mary. It is evident as soon as you talk to them that they understand your dog is a family member. They are flexible with pick up and drop off times. The best part is they send pictures of the fun times throughout the day. I have used them many times, and are the first people I contact when we need someone to watch our pup. I could not sing their praises enough. Oh, and they have a fenced in back yard with a fence down the middle to create two play areas in case you have a shy dog, like my own. 5 stars isn’t enough to describe the wonderful experiences we’ve had!”

About: As a child and teen, I helped my mom breed, raise, and train golden retrievers. As an adult and family man, I cared for my dog "Beyoncé" and cat "Kitty." This includes food, water, play, running, brushing, brushing teeth, and trimming. My pets have passed on and I’m ready to host 😊 Im a dad of 3 boys with shared custody. With a barn and a sunroom, I’m able to separate kids from dogs as-needed. I enjoy the rural setting, and keep chickens and ducks, and garden. I’m a civil engineer / environmental consultant and work at home 100%. I have a lot of flexibility with taking breaks. Experienced with using a clicker to train, and using a beep / vibrate collar for training spirited dogs. Aiming to cater to the most “difficult” dogs for those owners who have limited options. I work at home as an engineer / consultant and have lots of flexibility with taking breaks. I have a need to move every hour at least. I live in a single family home that I own. The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).

About: Ever since I was a little kid, I have felt connected to animals. I have had and taken care of dogs since I was 10. When I went away to college without my dogs, I realized how necessary doggie love was to my happiness. This led me to volunteering at the local SPCA walking dogs. He was 13 years old and I had him since he walked into the humane society at two months old. “Samantha was great! I went on a 8 day trip and she made sure to give me daily updates about my dog and how he was doing and even gave him a toy he was always playing with. She was very accommodating and understanding when my flight got delayed and Chase had to stay an extra night. Chase loves going over there and will definitely be back soon! Thank you so much 😊”

“Again, Diana and her family added to our vacation enjoyment by taking excellent care of our dogs. We received daily reports and photos. Our elder Lab (nearly 15) occasionally suffers separation anxiety and occasional eating issues, but none of that happens when he visits Diana. In fact, both dogs light up when I say "Let's go to Miss Diana's" and respond happily when we arrive at ehr house. Recommend enthusiastically & without reservations. ”

“We booked Kyla and Cody not just for boarding our pup, but for drop-in visits with our other critters. Kyla and Cody were fantastic! We had some unique instructions, and nothing fazed them. They were great about providing updates and photos, asked questions when appropriate, and overall just gave us a sense of relief that our babies would be in good hands so that we could truly relax while we were away from home. Plus our pup found a great new friend in their dog while in their home.”
“Outstanding! Rocky (my pup) injured his leg just days before the booking and required special care. Marne & John not only made sure that he was happy and healthy, but they even put up with his unexpected antics (he decided to make some of their belongings into chew toys). As an added "Bone-us", they gave him a going away gift package. 5 stars is not enough!”
“Christina is amazing! From start to finish, she went above and beyond caring for Boss and Chipper. She was wonderful with communication, sending regular updates and photos that made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She even stepped in to help at the last minute, which was such a relief. I could tell she genuinely loves dogs—both Boss and Chipper were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for the entire time. I felt so relieved knowing they were in such capable hands. I can’t recommend Christina highly enough and will definitely be booking her again!”
